Dan did a great job! Was here at 8:30 the morning after I called to diagnose the problem (a broken spring) and give an estimate. Estimate was reasonable so I went ahead and approved the work. He was done in 30 minutes and the door is like new. Very smooth and quiet.

Phenomenal experience. Great technician who diagnosed the problem and fixed it at a very good price. He also helped fix other problems and did not charge. Highly recommend!

Springs were replaced, but he removed the plastic cover over the light attached to the motor and didn't put it back up correctly. We let the garage door down and the cover fall and broke. I called him then and he said will check in office to see if they had one to replace the broken one. Never heard anything back, I've been calling every since speaking to John and he keep telling me different lies. Told me 1/2/20 that it was ordered and would be there in about 10 days. Called back 1/22/20, told me still waiting on cover. Haven't heard anything since.

Since my garage door opener was 14 years old I decided that just repairing the gear may not be the best solution since the complete unit may have to be replaced in a couple years anyway. Dan replaced my chain driven unit with a much quieter belt driven opener which included new remotes. While installing the new opener, Dan took a couple customer phone calls. I asked him if they were short of help in their office. His response was that Wright Door makes every effort to answer customer questions without putting them on hold. That statement really impressed me as a great service to their customers.

Dan provided a quote the same day and performed work professionally and quickly. I'm fully satisfied with the work and the price. I would recommend!

This review is long overdue, just like waiting so many years to replace the old heavy manual garage door. I contacted several companies to bid out the job after the garage door on a detached garage broke beyond use and I was finally ready to look into an automatic door. Wright Door had the best price of the bids received and with taking care of everything so that it would be ready to go (one of the other bids I was going to need to find a part myself to hook up the opener to power once they'd installed). Wright made it painless, were able to install the door while I was out of town and I now have an automatic opener and a keypad on the outside of my garage. Every time I use it I wonder why I lived in this house for 10 years before doing this!? It's been 2 years since the work, Everything is still working well and I'm still very happy with the experience!

Service was good. I had requested service and no one got back to me to schedule. There was a mix up and Wright did not see the request. Once they made contact they were very professional and completed the work the next day.

Based on their numerous positive reviews I chose Wright Door to install a carriage house garage door, a door opener and to frame in the opening to fit the door. The garage door and opener turned out fine (though the decorative hinges shown in the pictures of the garage door never appeared), however the framing in and supposed cleanup were a completely different story. The framing in consisted of roughly cutting a bunch of untreated 2x4's and screwing them them together vertically. The header also consisted of a bunch of roughly cut untreated 2x4's screwed together horizontally. Boards were unevenly cut, placed on a concrete floor exposed to the weather (even though the wood came with stickers explicitly stating that it should not come into contact with wet surfaces). Gaps between the boards are over 1/8 inch in some places (Not only can I see through them, I can even put a carpenters square through the gaps). Why did I pay for an insulated garage door when weather can easily penetrate the wall? The 2x4's in the header look like they are starting to bow. The plans for the work changed regularly, so that I did not know how it was going to be done until they actually started the work. Even the location of the door was set back a foot and half from where I wanted it. Plus I had to pay everything before the work was complete. Finally they did not even clean up the saw dust and debris in my garage. I was very dissatisfied with the work, so I had two independent experts come and evaluate it. One professional carpenter looked at it and immediately said that the framing was poorly done and that the workers were in over their head. Another expert just laughed and said that what they did was just stupid. Both also said that the untreated wood in contact with the concrete will rot in a few years. I was prepared to do some painting afterwards, but now I have to have someone install siding to cover up and seal what was done by Wright Door. In summary, installation of garage door and opener were ok, but poor communication, poor workmanship and poor cleanup for everything else.

I called and talked to the folks at The Wright Door Monday morning. Explained that my old opener was broken. I asked if they repaired the model i had, and they explained that it was probably time for a new one. As it came with the garage build over 7 years ago, and appeared to be a very basic model, i asked about which brands they carried. After getting an explanation of each one, I chose the high end model, and they said they'd have someone there that day. I was shocked. I couldn't believe that I could get service that fast. Dan showed up a few hours later, and while i was not present, my wife and Grandson were. Dan immediately got to work, and even enlisted my 8 year old Grandson to help him. My wife was thrilled that Dan would do such a thing, and involve the young boy. It was hands on experience, and kept him from playing computer games long enough to learn something good, like working with tools. My wife, and Grandson really enjoyed Dan coming by and installing the opener, i know my Grandson will never forget the day he actually got to start using real tools. Thanks Dan, I heard nothing but the best regarding your visit. I will highly recommend your company to anyone who asks.

The work was great. The special deal and other work made the door work like a new installation. .He pointed out maintenance work that I could do to keep it in good shape. Everything was done in less than an hour. I would definitely use Wright Door again and will recommend them.

My garage door wouldn't open last week, and after a bit of investigating, I discovered it was the springs that needed to be fixed (a job not recommended as a DIY). So I called these guys. They were out within an hour or so, and the job was done before lunchtime. Amazingly responsive and fast service! And reasonably priced, too!

Excellent! Dan was within time frames, early on the first call actually, social, informative, honest, hard working and best of all an Army Vet! All work completed in promised time frame and to specs!

Perfect! They had availability the same day I called. Dan quickly assessed the issues which all were within the scope of the standard tune up. Rollers replaced, tension adjusted & lubrication... now the door is back to opening smoothly with no more squeaks. And took advantage of the tune up special through Angie's List. Remove old spring, and installed two new springs. Very professional, and got the job done quickly. Offered recommendations on what was needed later. I like the fact that he did not try and push and additional sales. Would definitely use them again.

They did a great job. Replaced the rollers, balanced the door, adjusted the springs. He called to let me know he was on his way. He was courteous and professional. Didn't try to sell me any additional services. Told me the door was in great shape. Will use them again.

They returned promptly to remedy the situation and suggested methods for maintaining smooth operation of the door. They were incredible!
