+ -1 moreCheryl returned my phone calls and emails very promptly. When we agreed upon a time for her visit, she was prompt and cheerful. She helped me to organize every scrap of paper in my home office. When we finished that, we still had time left so we tackled a couple areas in the basement. She had a friendly, helpful manner and assisted me greatly.

She arrived on time and really helped an organizationally challenged, and slightly ADD person, to stop myself from going on a tangent and getting away from the task at hand. She clearly is experienced with this, and usually would ask me to let her get the item, and for me to stick with the sorting. Since she was making file folders or envelopes as we went, that kept me from getting off track as well. I was amazed at the huge trash bags I was able to fill and throw away at the end!
Description of Work: Cheryl came to my house on two separate occasions. The first time she stayed 3 hours and helped me to organize and purge approximately 5 legal boxes of papers. She labeled file folders as I sorted and helped me start a long term filing system as well as a short term "in box" with file folders to help me immediately file as I got mail each day. The second time she came, she helped me sort and purge 2 years worth of photos--approximately 50 rolls worth. She helped me organize them by the month for placing into albums, and helped me put duplicates into envelopes to mail to family members. She gave me many tips to help me maintain these systems on my own.

+ -1 moreMy friend who has already used her gift of organization time has given me glowing reports. Cheryl evidently helped her organize her office and reduce the space size so that her new husband could fit his computer and other stuff in the space. Not only did it help her get started but she continues to be motivated to organize and plans to hire Cheryl for additional time to help her get through the next stages.
Description of Work: I bought several hours of time as a wedding gift for two friends who both have houses and are trying to condense into one.

+ -1 moreCheryl has come into my home and office and organized everything from papers and files to basement storage rooms and closets. She is always calm and focused, helping me to work though piles and boxes that have been in my way for years. She works both on her own and along side me, whatever it takes to get the job done. She is a delightful, non-judgmental person as well as a top-notch organizer. It should be noted that I HATE organizing, but somehow Cheryl makes it pleasant and I love the result I see whenever she's been here. She also qualifies as perhaps the most prompt person I have ever met! Also she is $40.00 an hour.
Description of Work: I had Cheryl come for one 3-hour session at the beginning. She returned my calls right away and showed up right on time. I had never worked with an organizer before and did not know what to expect. Cheryl put me at ease and started right in. The results were wonderful; she's now a regular at my office and home.

+ -1 moreVery punctual, friendly, has great ideas. Brings a fresh way of looking at existing clutter traps and helps to implement realistic ways to organize. I have used her for several projects over the years and I'm sure will use her again.
Description of Work: Cheryl has helped on several projects. One was organizing a home office for working on multiple projects. Other services she has done is clean closets, organize garage, organize 30 years of family photos.
