Description of Work: Removed drywall, carpet and repaired damage from a plumbing issue.

Description of Work: After a flood damaged my basement (March 2012), the "Reconstruction Team" presented a bid to rebuild my damaged basement.After collecting a 50% downpayment, they become unresponsive and did not complete the work as agreed upon.*They broke a toilet that had been removed and was going to be re-installed. *Tile was cut inside the house and no plastic covering was provided to protect the upper floors. As you can imagine, dust was everywhere! No - clean-up provided by them!*They installed new tile over the existing shower tile - I specifically requested that the old tile be removed. Several of the tiles they installed are chipped and the grout lines are uneven.On at least three occasions, their subcontractors were supposed to show up to work and no one showed up.I still do not have final settlement statement from them. -I've been requesting it for the past two months.They've informed me of several employee turnovers and internal company issues that have delayed them in providing me with the final settlement or even a returned phone call.I would not recommend them or any of the subcontractors. Spring 2013 follow-up: I met with Tony at the Floodteam's office and we negotiated an acceptable refund for a portion of what I had paid him. He paid it back in monthly installments and has paid off the entire balance we agreed upon. As a final comment, the flood clean-up went very well and the guys knew what they were doing when it comes to flood and sewer back-up damage. If (& I hope it never does) I would need a flood clean-up, I wouldn't hesitate to call them. However, they dropped the ball on the reconstruction and repair side of the business. -- I believe they have also dropped this from the services they provide....

Description of Work: I had a huge sewage backup. They had showed up quickly and they steam cleaned the floor, they disinfected and sanitized the entire basement,

Description of Work: Our office flooded from a broken water main. The Flood Team came in and not only helped us save equipment but in a matter of hours had the water removed and the drying effort underway. We had about 2 inches of standing water in the bak half of our office that needed to be removed. The carpet was wet, the furniture had to be raised so that it would not need to be replaced. The water had wicked into the drywall. It was a mess.

Description of Work: The water from the carpet was extracted. The baseboards were removed, and sprayed with antifungal. The doors were removed from their hinges and the carpet was lifted in order to get the fans to blow under the carpet and pad. After the carpet was dry, they restretched the carpet and cleaned it with a dry chemical. All baseboards and doors were replaced.
