Status Granite LLC

When I came home after the work was complete there was gray pokadot granite on my counters. It's terrible - doesn't go with my kitchen at all. We paid quite a bit of money for this and the owner refuses to do anything about it. We demanded he come back with the chip he showed us..and sure enough he should us another chip that was similiar to what he installed. I had visited other granite stores and asked to see Kashmir White. They showed me exactly what I had picked out originally. The owner, Vince, said he told us the slabs could be darker. Darker? then why pick out anything at all. He claimed over and over that he has 100% customer satisfaction - well now he doesn't. The labor was unacceptible. The cauking was terrible and he promised to return to fix it - that never happened. I now have cheap gray granite with red/black pokadots and I hate it. He never offered a comprimise. Just walked out. I give this company an F. No customer service, unacceptable labor, wrong granite installed and HE CHANGED HIS PRICING AFTER IT WAS INSTALLED. He raised his pricing $100, my husband argued that he had quoted a lower price. His answer was he didn't write it down - so we had ot pay the higher price. I am so sorry I didn't stop payment on the check. To date, we have no receipts or lien waivers for completed work. I would hope that others realize this before hiring STATUS GRANITE:LLC.
