About us

Southern Floral was established in 1923 by the Krehbiel Family on South Broadway in South St. Louis. They built a new store at 7400 Michigan (present location) in 1935. Jan Arbutti, the current owner, purchased the business in 1985. Southern Floral is a well established Flower Shop located in South St. Louis, but delivers anywhere in St. Louis or the metro area. Please stop in or give us a call. We look forward to meeting and working with you. ASSOCIATION We are Proud Members of the South Broadway Merchants Association, Afton Chamber of Commerce, Carondelet Community Betterment Federation, and We are Involved with Many Local Churches and Schools

initially I did not think this was going well--but the error was with FTD. I called Jan the owner of Southern Floral and she could not have been more accomodating. She (in the midst of this hectic time of year) assured me that her #1 goal is customer satisfaction. She proved it --I know that after ftd took their fee and she paid the driver (twice!)- not to mention the cost of flowers (2 sets) and the labor- she sent me a lovely arrangement. In addition, throughout this entire process-Jan called me several times to inquire what she could do to make me happy. I will not hesitate to use Southern Floral again for all florsit needs.
