Kaitlyn and Brandy were awesome! My dogs loved them both. Very professional and they truly care about animals. It's not just a job to them.

Slem's is an amazing company. I have used them twice. I went to London and was gone for a week. I used them again for a weekend trip. I knew that my cat was in good hands both times. The sitter would text me with updates and photos. She always left me a list of the times that she was there and what they did. When I arrived home from London, she wrote a note from Gryffin on how he missed his mommy. Gryffin passed away in February due to kidney failure. If I ever get another cat, I would definitely use Slem's again.

Amazing service and care for our boys while we were on vacation for a week. Kaitlyn is amazing with our boys and we can enjoy vacation without worrying bc we know she is loving all three of them while we are gone. She took care of house needs as well. Karen did daily drop ins so the boys were not left alone too long and Kaitlyn stays all night. We could not ask for better care!! Thank you so much Slems.

Slem’s is the absolute best as I never have to worry about my dogs safety or well being when a Slem’s worker is caring for them. The workers are always professional, understand what my dogs need and are always willing to take them on a walk if asked to do so. I just love this company and use them all the time. There is no company I would trust more than Slem’s with both my house and dogs. After a bad experience with hiring an individual to watch our dogs six years ago we found Slem’s and have used them ever since for overnight visits. The communication for scheduling could not be easier! We base our vacations around when they can take care of our dogs. We wouldn’t go on vacation without Slem’s taking care of our pets. They provide that much peace of mind for us while we are away. We have had three dogs that they have taken care of for us over the years. One of which, needs several different medicines at different times in the day and has to keep to a very strict schedule. Slem’s goes out of their way to give us peace of mind while we are away on vacation. They send daily updates, pictures, and even put together a video of different clips of them having fun all week! The care and love that has been shown to our dogs over the years is truly amazing. We will never board our dogs at a facility or ever use any company but Slem’s. This is a one of a kind business that you should not hesitate to book!

Slem’s is amazing. They have watched my precious pup on multiple occasions and I’ll continue to use them anytime I need a dog sitter. They send pictures and text messages while they’re visiting. They also leave a record of each time they visit and how my dog behaved. They’ve always been fantastic to work with.

My wife and I have used SLEM's for pet care while traveling in the past. The service was good, see my review from 2016, in the beginning and then adequate after but recently trying to contact the owner (Donna Slem) directly by email or phone there's been no response even to messages sent via Angie's List. The business phone or website does indicate the company is no longer in business but without a reply for several weeks and being unable to leave a voice mail message because the box is 'full' suggests to me they no longer provide the services. My big concern is that I'm unable to get my house key returned and the cost to re core all my locks is quite expensive. I hope others don't find themselves in the same situation.

We couldn't be happier with Slem's pet care. They take amazing care of our dog on a daily basis, and scheduling is as easy as a text message. They are trustworthy, dependable, and (most importantly) TRULY love your pets as their own! Many times, these lovely ladies have spent extra time with our pup if their schedules allow, and they shower her with treats and toys. They bring in our packages, roll in our trashcans, and do many other things that are simply above and beyond. We love receiving updates and pictures throughout the day and coming home to a happy dog!

Caitlyn took good care of the kitties and left the house looking clean. We loved getting photos of our babies. One cat is 17 and the other is 1. She came twice a day so they wouldn't drive each other nuts.

Brandy met with us & pets twice before we went on vacation. She followed our instructions for meals, shacks, walking. She sent pictures of our pets daily. We were very satisfied.

It went very well. My dogs were well cared for.

Better than we could have hoped for. Kelly the pet sitter was a joy, personable, enthusiastic, and loving to our feline friends. We received regular texts while vacationing including pics that relieved any anxiety we had about leaving them for longer than we ever had previously. A truly outstanding experience and we will use Slem's exclusively when traveling in the future. Highly recommended.

Donna and Slem's Pet Care have been highly recommended by our previous pet sitter, who has moved to Ohio. We are very happy we followed her advice, Slem's Pet Care services are outstanding! Donna takes care of our dog Mama and cat Leo, as you can see from the picture below they are quite excited to see her every time she comes! The service is great because Donna, or one of the ladies that work with her, is always available when we need them and also texts or e-mails us pictures of our pets when we are away to let us know they are doing well. Donna is very easy to work with and has a great attitude to both pets and her clients. Slem's Pet Care is certainly a great provider for pet sitting or visiting services and I will definitely recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

I gave them a huge and complicated assignment. It would be silly for me to sit here and tell you there weren't any blips. But no big deal. Little blips. The service was great!! My dogs and pig love these girls and I think of them as Angels. They have continued the service even after returning from the hospital. I am completely satisfied and would recommend them to my family and friends in a blink.

The pet care services by Slem's Pet Care were excellent. Brandy is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience with both both cats and dogs. She provided excellent care for them, and we felt like they were in very capable hands. My husband and I both felt that our pets received loving care and attention the entire time we were gone. Brandy was prompt in arriving for the Meet and Greet and really made us feel like our "furbabies" would be well cared for while we were gone. We were very confident that she was well qualified to care for them and could easily handle any emergencies that she might encounter. I would definitely recommend Slem's and plan to use them again in the future.

Slem's Pet Care is amazing. They were so professional in terms of always contacting us, coming over and meeting our dogs, sending us pictures while we were gone! I can't recommend them highly enough. We had someone watching our dogs for years until she retired, and we were really uneasy about finding someone else. Donna and the rest of her team at Slem's Pet Care came to the rescue - they're so good and our dogs love them!

Great! They were very accommodating. Came out to meet them before our trip. We got several texts and pictures letting us know that all was well.

I came home to a clean house and two happy cats, inside and outside! I got texts and pictures from Kaitlyn while I was gone, so I knew everything was going well, but I could tell my cat was happy, and the dishes had been washed and everything was clean. The stray was fed as well, though there's not much anyone can do for him because he's afraid of everyone but me. Kaitlyn left a detailed account of her arrival/departure times and how things went each day. She also left a handwritten receipt for the check I left. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that someone would be lovingly caring for my cat, and I came home to a clean house and litter box, plus a happy cat. Can't ask for more than that! I will definitely remember Slem's the next time I need someone to watch my cat, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Here is why we had a great experience. Close to leaving they came to the house and did a meet and greet which allowed us to see who they were and for them to understand the details of the house and the personalities of our dogs & cat. They provided a folder that contained detailed information on who each person was and a copy of their respective background checks The folder included check lists for things that we may have not have thought of such as "did you lock your fence gates?" They have a customer privacy policy such that if someone comes to the door while you are away - they do not disclose that you are away or where you are. They impressed upon us during our meeting that they do not do this for extra spending money - they do this as a profession and take that responsibility seriously. We found this to be entirely true. They arrived on time - they texted us that they arrived and provided updates to us periodically. Our pets were never left alone for any longer than 4 hours during the day. On the last day, they texted their departure time and asked us to text them if our arrival home time was to change and that they would return and cover any additional tasks required so - animals would get fed and let out. We could go on - but here are the most important reasons we will use Slems again. They left no foot print in the house - other than the bed stripped, we would not have known someone had stayed in our home The house was, as we left it - previous sitters allowed animals to pee and poo ( we kid you not ) The animals were entirely NORMAL and not traumatized upon our return. It was clear they had plenty of company and stimulation.

I can't begin to tell you how wonderful Donna and Michelle were! They came out to meet my husband and me and get instructions the week before we left for vacation. They brought us detailed paperwork to fill out so that they would know everything they needed to know about our dogs, their routines, and our contact information. A couple of days before our trip, I received a text message from Donna saying that they were looking forward to watching our dogs on the agreed upon dates. Receiving that text really helped put us at ease about leaving our dogs with them, knowing that they were being proactive and assuring us that they would be where they agreed to be on the correct date and at the correct time. As soon as we got off of the plane and switched our phones on, there was a text message from Michelle saying that she had arrived and that the dogs were fine. She included pictures she had taken of each of them. Every 2 or 3 days we received similar text messages or emails from her with information about how it was going, and she sometimes included pictures. The pictures assured us that the dogs were calm and handling our absence just fine. I would have been so worried about them being upset at a kennel (wondering if we had abandoned them), but instead, the dogs were in their own home, following their usual routine, and getting lots of petting and love, with the older dog getting her daily medication on time. We did not worry about the dogs at all, knowing that they were in good hands. My husband and I were able to relax and just enjoy our time away. Michelle stayed with the dogs as much as possible throughout the day and sometimes even worked from our house. She slept at our house at night and positioned the dogs' beds near her. Donna also stopped in, as she had made it clear to us that there would always be a back-up person involved. When we arrived home, we found a detailed chart of the arrival and departure times for both of the women. These women are so wonderful and so professional, we could not have asked for a better experience. We are so glad we found Slem's Pet Care, and we will be using them again in the future!

I have very recently become acquainted with Donna and Cindy since they have merged their two businesses. They have cared for my two kitties several times when I have been out of town. One of my cats is diabetic so needs extra care in feeding and insulin shots. Their work is excellent. They are thorough in confimring duties and times before I leave. While I am away, feedback is given in texts, and I also have found hand-written notes from them when I get home, which I very much appreciate. I think that there is a combination of qualities that one looks for in animal care professionals: knowledge, patience, reliabilty, honesty, and compassion. All are present in these women. I recommend them 100%, and I am very fortunate to know them and have the benefit of their services.

First a group of the business owners showed up a week before they or one of them were to start watching my group. Introductions went well. They surveyed the home and the pets. I also wrote out some instructions for them about the animals. I received a text message daily also got some pictures. This was a 6 day and night assignment. They did leave to do other things but I was OK with that because my girls are older and sleep most of the day. On the day I returned my bed linens were washed and ready for me to sleep on that night. My home was clean and I had a relaxing vacation. I have never used a Pet sitting service before but Cindy was wonderful. I already have scheduled another appointment with them.
