We have evolved into a full service moving company from small to large jobs. All our employees are in house. We do not use contractors. We use both 14 and 26 foot box trucks to move you from upstairs to downstairs or across the state. With over a dozen vehicles and close to three dozen employees, we are here when you need us. Description of Work: Simple Moves moved us from an apartment to our new house. Since the two places were only about a mile apart, we were only going to have them move the heavy bulky furniture. In the end, we had about 3 times as many boxes as planned and a few extra pieces of furniture too. They showed up promptly between 8:30-9:00. After a quick evaluation of our move, they got right to work. We even had an extra guy that they didn't charge up for. They were very careful and efficient at both ends of the move. We had just refinished our hardwood floors in our new home and they were extremely carful not to slide anything on the floor and and took time to let me attached floor sliders as they set each piece down. Our original estimate was for 3 hours and even with all the extras, they finished in exactly 3 hours. They honored a 10% Angie's List discount and the end price was exactly as quoted. I was so pleased with the move, gave them a 10% tip. I would definitely use them again and recommend Simple Moves to anyone looking for an efficient and professional move.

Description of Work: In short, they came with a trainee whom they did not supervise. They damaged three walls, china cabinet, headboard, ceiling, dinning room table and destroyed a washing machine. Working with a company was a nightmare. They did not respond in a timely manner. The supervisor who I talked to one day was no longer working there the next. It took a good 3 months to get a satisfactory response from the company.

We changed general managers and hired a new claim reprehensive. I looked over your file and saw that everyone one of your issues was adjusted and resolved in around 2 month not three (even thou that still took too long). We had someone come out to do touch ups on your furniture the following week, and then we gave you money to buy a new washing machine. There was only one piece that we could not fix, so we took it to a repair shop and had to wait on them. As soon as they were finished, we had the piece back to you the next day. I am sorry that things did not go correctly, but we did try to resolve your problems as quickly as we could. We are still striving on being better and will continue to strive for perfection.

Whenever you have to go to numerous locations, it is harder to estimate a move because you have to try to figure out driving distance, traffic, walks, stairs, etc.. I saw that your move was estimated for 4.5 hours and went 5:0 which is right in the ball park. I would love for you to call or email me and let me know what was horrible about your experience and see if we can find a way to fix it for you or for any of our upcoming customers.

Description of Work: Simple Moves came to my condo to move my piano and other heavy furniture so that I could rearrange my great room, and they went way above the "call of duty" so to speak, willingly moving the piano from one wall to the next til I was satisfied. The two young men who work for Simple Moves were so kind and easy to work with--just what I needed! I used them a second time to move antique furniture to my daughter's home, and the move was smooth as silk. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I wouldn't use the service again. One of the movers had a bad attitude and was even trying to talk me out of moving somethings. Wish they wrapped the mattress. My bed cover was on it and they stained it.. I was able to wash it out but I was NEVER told about it I had to find it on my own..
