Simple Moves

Polite, courteous, professional. No problems. Have used them multiple times, and never had anything break or any damage to my home or office.

I don't think this job could have been handled any better. We set up the move several weeks before since it was at month end. Our move was confirmed the day before. Another call on the morning of the move confirmed they would be at our house in about 30 minutes, and they were right time. After a review of the work to be done and a review of the contract the three man crew got right to work and didn't slow down until the job was finished. We got a three man crew (Marvin, Terrence and Donald) even though we had originally agreed to a two man crew. However we were not charged for the extra mover. The crew was very efficient and handled our items carefully. They carefully unloaded the items and put them in place neatly in the storage unit. Very professional in all regards and handled the furniture and boxes with care. It was obvious they take pride in their work. Because there was a three man crew and we had less items than originally planned the move was completed in about 1/2 the time allotted and thus much less than the original price. We were very pleased in all regards with got from Simple Moves and the crew that moved our items.

They did a wonderful job in a difficult moving situation. They were very careful and professional. They were cheerful and fast.

They were awful beyond belief. The men that Simple moves sent over acted like they had never moved anyone in their lives. Everything that could have gone wrong did. They arrived late. They loaded my furniture without padding. Metal bed frames were loaded on top of wooden furniture, causing damage to the wooden furniture. They then drove to the wrong address and sat for 30 minutes without checking with their dispatcher to see what the problem was. When they finally arrived at the correct place, they damaged my furniture and broke glass ware. The glass ware box was marked fragile, and they loaded it on a dolly with several heavy book boxes on top, crushing the glass ware. They banged their dollies against my wood floors, creating gouges and scratches. They carried my upholstered furniture without wrapping it, sweating all over it and soiling the fabric. They drug my mattress and box spring across the dirty ground and across the sidewalk, all the while they had mattress bags in the truck they could have used (I found when I checked the truck to make sure it had been emptied) When I complained to Chris, the owner, all I got was excuses and he actually put the blame back on me. Believe me when I tell you, you are better off having your drunk relatives move you.

Showed on time and worked hard to get the job done!

I was moving items from a rental I was selling to my home today. I had used Simple Moves many times back in '06-'08 when I was a home stager and found their services to be excellent. Today was no different! In all the times I have used them--most likely 10-15, I found their staff to be on time, kind with my furnishings, very personable, professional, concerned about the cleanliness of my home, etc. Prior to the date of my move, the professional office staff called ahead to verify my appointment, clarify the terms of the agreement. When the gentlemen got to my residence today, they went over the terms again as well so there would be no misunderstandings. Very grateful for that. I have always found their charges to be fair. The staff has always been very efficient in their use of time as they moved items and transported them to another location. Would highly recommend this company, Simple Moves for all your moving needs, small-medium-or large. They will always be the first ones I call!

I used Simple Moves, in particular Stanley, after they moved a large chest freezer and large refrigerator for my parents. It was not an easy job. They had to move them both from the garage to the basement down a narrow and extremely steep set of steps. In addition, the steps have a chair-left rail, which made it even more narrow. I could not believe how fast and easily Stanley and his partner got both of those large, heavy items down those stairs. And no damage to themselves, the walls, or the appliances. Truly amazing. I specifically requested Stanley and his partner when scheduling our appointment. I cannot remember Stanley's partners name, but he was fantastic, too. However, Stanley came with Aaron for our appointment. Aaron is just as amazing as Stanley and his other partner. They were incredibly professional. They knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it. They are both incredibly strong and so pleasant. They obviously care about their customers and their customers things. Simple Moves is the only moving company I will use from now on. And in addition, on both my parents job and my job, the bill was less than the original quote. And they they could have just charged the quoted amount, and we would have been none the wiser. However, they are honest and only charged for the time spent. I guess it was less because these gentlemen are extremely fast, while being cautious and deft at moving anything and everything. Great company with great employees.

--This is the 3rd time I have used them , I was disappointed that there was no discount for a repeat customer----the guys were prompt and very courteous in their dealings. Because they use a truck that is small we made 2 trips ---that cost more time and more expense----although this was a smaller move for us (moved 11 times ) it was still not completed in the estimated time. I was able to find a coupon with Angies List that helped us out. In getting to the new location I found some items missing and discovered that a whole closet had been left behind. I guess it was my responsibility to look back through our previous house but my previous movers like larger companies usually do that for you-----my husband and I went to get the items and weren't happy about it - we emailed about the issue and have yet to receive any response from the company-----I would advise people to use a company with a larger truck such as maybe 2 men and a truck----to not have additional costs. while leaving the closet behind was probably our fault there should have been a response to the issue----don't think that should happen since moving is their business everyday. move appears to be damage free. Thanks.

Patrick, Damien, and Frederick were amazing! They are very efficient, friendly, diligent, and honest. I will definitely used them again next time.

First of all, I called several local moving companies to get quotes. Each of them including Simple Moves charge $99 for travel initially, so I paid almost $200 to get them in the door. They also do not charge a surcharge for moving on Saturday, unlike the other movers I called. Brett and Kelsey came out for the move out and did a great job They took great pride in doing their jobs well, disassembling tables, covering the furniture with furniture pads and wrapping many pieces (the wooden furniture) with pads and plastic wrap. They even moved a console piano by carrying it out. My husband and I were amazed at their strength. They were great to work with. They completed the job in 1-1/2 hours which was the estimated price. I switched the move back in date several times (due to delays in the remodeling) and each time I called the management could not have been more accommodating. I finally settled on Saturday, April 5th. They sent Clayton, Lawrence and Craig. Again, this crew was competent, great at taking instruction, strong, and very professional. It took only 1 hour to move us back in (probably because of the third man). They reassembled pieces that had been taken apart and took great care in avoiding collisions with our newly painted rooms. I was very very please with this company and would definitely use them again.

Great customer service from start to finish. Filled out the nline form and got a return call back within hours. They had availability the next Saturday. Was happy to learn there was no additional charge for a Saturday move. I was able to avoid taking an extra day off work. Team called me at the start of my delivery window to tell me they were slightly delayed they gave me an estimated time and they arrived very close to that time. my move was not really a simple one. My condo was the second and third floor of a building with steep narrow stairs. The team kept a great atttitude and it did not slow them down. They finished the move in 1.75 hours. They were all very professional and took very good care of my furniture. I like that they wrapped the larger pieces. My bedroom set belonged to my great grandmother and I always get nervous when I have it moved. The team did a great job and happy to report it is in the same condition in my new house. Soon after the guys left I realized they forgot to bring in the rods to mount my dresser mirror. I called the supervisor Chris. He called me back saying he knew where they were and would make sure I had them the next business day. True to his word he checked in on Monday morning and delivered them later that day. Overall the move was a positive experience. I think it was great service at a fair price. I will definitely use this company for my next move. Big or small.

We were extremely pleased with their service. They were great. They did very heavy lifting up and down multiple flights of stairs and kept up very nice joking and positive attitudes. We had Michael, Aaron and Roosevelt taking care of us. I could not recommend them enough. Just wonderful. And really VERY cheap for what they did for us!

It was a bad experience. They told us they gave big enough trucks for a large move but that is not true. They offer to keep driving between the two homes to complete the move but obviously that costs extra. They were misleading as I specifically asked if they had trucks being enough / our home had 3 bedrooms/ and they said yes it will be no problem. The truck was not big enough and our stuff didn't fit. It doesn't make sense price wise to keep paying them to drive between the two homes. When I called customers service to see if they can help us remedy this situation, they were not helpful and said it was on us. Had I been told this when I initially called them, i would not have used them as it does not make sense money wise. Now I paid them almost $1000 and I still have have items in my old house that I need to have moved. In my opinion they were dishonest about their services and I didn't like how the customer service handled or basically disregarded my complaint. I would definitely not use them again and not recommend them to anyone.

Simple Moves gave us a quote over the phone. They said they would arrive the next day between 10:00am and Noon and call before they came. They called at 10:50 am and arrived at 11:15 am. Immediately picked up the furniture and brought it directly to my office. There were 3 men, Marvin, Quincy and Darion. All 3 were very professional and took great care moving and setting up my furniture. They finished in a jiffy and I suspect went on to their next job. When I call Simple Moves again I would ask for those same 3 men again.

I was given a time window for arrival between 8-9am. They arrived at 8:15. Three movers: Nakia Anderson, Tracy Travis, and Carlos Williams were very courteous and professional. They carefully carried the treadmill down two flights of stairs and put it in the driveway just as I requested. It is great to know there is a moving company really willing to take a small job! I would definitely use them again in the future.

Excellent. Greg and Shawn were prompt, very nice and very efficient. I was very thankful they were as good as they were - the pieces were old (not antique) but just with lots of memories.

The service was excellent. It was a two-man moving team (Stanley and Christopher), and they were outstanding. I would definitely hire Simple Moves again. Thanks guys!

Three man crew of Armon, Marquan and Greg performed move efficiently and showed care in the handling process. They arrived on time, were friendly and professional in their attitude. In all, a very satisfying experience.

Two movers came out and it took them half a day.

They had good service fromcall in to completion of delivery.

The cost included packaging, driving and unpacking. I believe they did a good job. They were very friendly and did a great job. I have nothing bad to report and nothing was broken.

They were great. They were on time and got everything accomplished within the time frame. Have used them four times before and I don't use anyone else to do my moves. I am always so satisfied with their service.

Things went pretty well in general. A couple dings on the walls that I'll need to spackle and repaint, but I was worried that the furniture wasn't even going to fit through the doorway. The movers mentioned that we should have done my job early in the day because everything was so heavy and not something that should have been their last stop of the day.

It went well. I was satisfied with the service and would recommend them.
