They cut all the walls at two feet above the floor elevation. This was not really necessary. We were faced with a tremendously expensive redo of the finished part of the basement. They need to warn people of the costs to restore the walls, etc. once they are done. We could have just removed the carpets and dried out the basement and avoided at least $20,000 to $40,000 in work.
Description of Work: Basement had water entering from floor drain.

The guy was really helpful but I couldn't afford what he charged me at that time. Otherwise I thought that they are a pretty good company. The guy who came out was really informative and helpful. As a matter of fact we had sewer damage and he had suggested about to claim with the metropolitan sewer industry. He was really pretty knowledgeable and very professional. The estimate was for around $4500 to $5000. It would have been well worth it but I couldn't afford it at that time. I think he was excellent personally. He was here when he said he would be here.
Description of Work: Servpro of West Kirkwood/Sunset Hills gave me an estimate probably in April for carpeting to be torn out, basement drywall to be removed, clean up and sanitize everything.
