Description of Work: Central AC was out. They came out and replace the fan motor on the outside unit. The next day the unit was running but not cooling. They came out again and charged the unit with more refrigerant. They did not charge me for the service call the second time.

+ -1 moreThey have been in business for a long time. When I had a problem with the furnace recently, they were the first ones that I had called. It was a weekend when I had called them. They told me that they could come out only on Monday. So, I went with another company. My experience with them has been average. I will hire them again, if the other company isn’t available.
Description of Work: I have used Seliga Heating & Cooling in the past. The last time they came out was 4-5 years ago, to fix my air conditioning.

+ -1 moreThey are quite reasonably priced. They charge about one fifty to come out and do a service call when there are some other companies that charge around five hundred. I give them A's all around.

Description of Work: I have my air conditioner/furnace serviced 2 times a year. They do a diagnostic test and cleaning. I'm unsure of the charge but it is always very reasonable.

water heater repair
+ -1 moreSteve was recommended by my architect. He responded promptly, gave a reasonable estimate, and completed the job within a couple of days. I was under pressure to have the gas turned back on after it was shut off when the homemade job done by the previous owner was discovered. Steve could not have been more professional and competent. He also checked other appliances the gas company would be looking at and advised getting a no tip device for the stove, which I did. This undoubtedly saved a second trip by the gas company.
Description of Work: My water heater failed to pass inspection as the previous owner had done his own work. I was told by the inspector it was going to cost $1,000 to line the chimney flue and do the job properly. Seliga fixed the homemade job, lined the chimney, capped it, and properly vented the water heater. They also added pipe to make the connection correct and an overflow tube for no extra charge.

Description of Work: Seliga Service installed an electronic air filter on our existing furnace. This required some sheet metal work in order to fit the unit in.

Description of Work: REMOVED EXISTING BOILER SYSTEM, INSTALLED NEW HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM WITH HUMIDIFIER. THEY HAD TO REMOVE OLD HOT WATER RADIATORS OFF FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS, AND INSTALL NEW VENTING AND DUCTWORK.
