Secure24 Alarms/ADT Dealer

Incredibly worthless company. They profit from fear of crime politics by inducing you to pay $50 per month for a service that purports to contact the police on your behalf. Their motion detecting alarms consistently falsely reported movement in my home, causing me to believe that my house was being broken into and the life of my pets were at risk. After receiving a call about detecting movement in my home and being asked whether I wanted to have the authorities contacted, there was never any follow up from either the police or the company. When I wanted to cancel their valueless service, they made me pay 75% of the value of my contract. No negotiation and no care for the mental stress they put me through leading me to want to cancel their service. To their credit, they were incredibly polite while they told me they wanted to pay over one thousand dollars for unearned services they would have provided if they hadn't put me in a position to want to cancel their services. Waste of time, waste of money, do not hire this company.

I bought the deal in late December. I did not hear from Secure 24 until after I requested a refund from A.L and left an F review in late January . It seems that their was a lack of communication between Angies List and Secure 24 however I myself also reached out to Secure 24 more than once directly and still did not get a return call. Ultimately I got a call from AJ @ Secure 24 and he apologized for the communication problems. I received a refund from Angie's List and AJ offered me a better deal/rebate than the original offer. Once we made contact, he was very professional, punctual, and attentive, We scheduled an appointment and the tech arrived early on the install day. We did a thorouhg inspection of the existing system and weighed all of the possible options for the new system I ended up buying a different system than I ordered for a couple of reasons specific to my particular situation and paying more than I anticipated. I would recommend getting a consultation or estimate of some sort before buying any specific deal so you know what you need and don't need before shopping for a deal. I don't blame Secure 24 for this surprise. I blame myself for not doing more homework before-hand. I bought an old house and as usual, nothing is as easy as it looks. In the end, I am happy with the product I paid for and the service provided by Secure 24. The main reason for the less than perfect rating is the communication process in the beginning. Secure 24 redeemed themselves at the end of the day.

The scheduling was efficient, and the technician was punctual and (at the time) I though was very helpful and friendly. My complaint is that no one explained to me what was included in the "free" installation, and when additional sensors/components were added to the home the cost of these was not explained. I got a credit card charge for and gt;$900 a few weeks later and it was then explained to me that the cost was for the additional components. If you choose to use this company be sure to ask about all relevant charges because they did not volunteer this information.

Extremely pleased with the ADT Security System. The peace of mind I have while on vacation is indescribable. Felt it rude of me to continue to ask neighbors to "watch" my house - it's my house why should neighbors be held responsible for my property! I'm embarrassed how long they let me continue in my rude behavior or it tells you what sweet neighbors I have. At any rate ADT let them off the hook and reformed my ways. Oh by the way the installation was FREE and monthly cost very reasonable. The gentleman that installed the system was top notch too.

They wanted to do everything over the phone and sell us more products based on a phone call instead of coming to see us to help us determine what they needed.

Upon closing on our new home, we were contacted by Secure24 as a referral from the agency that did our home inspection. They did not press any sales only provided education, upon researching the business on my own I decided to purchase their services. They were very prompt professional and their customer service was outstanding. If I had any questions or issues, I was contacted by a human when I called and the issue or question was resolved within minutes. I couldn't be happier with my service and peace of mind!

AJ was very responsive and helpful throughout. My original installation date was supposed to be on a Friday but we closed on the home sooner than expected. Thus, I asked that the installation be moved up and AJ was quick to respond and accommodate the request. Lewis completed the installation and was very polite. He forget to leave the sign and stickers but dropped them off a few days later.

Everything went very well. Matt proactively contacted me to discuss the possibility of setting up ADT at my new residence (I already had been using ADT monitoring at my old residence) after he learned from the inspector that I would be moving. We discussed the fees and some perks of signing up through his company (e.g. forgiven activation fee). Lewis came on time to the residence and ended up spending several hours -- took a while to figure out exactly how the house had been wired preeviously (several different zones with several different types of detectors (e.g. smoke, glass break, window break, door ajar), followed by all the updates and optimization. Lewis was accompanied by a visiting regional manager. Lewis was very courteous, giving me his cell phone number in case a problem should arise -- indeed, some of the sensors that were installed turned out to be faulty, and Lewis immediately returned and replaced them. Matt was able to send me the Alarm certificate immediately, so that I could forward it to the insurance company, as well as the State License number so that I could provide that to the city for the permit. Although there were a few elements from the previous owners' system that couldn't re integrated into the new ADT system, I feel very secure. I couldn't be happier with the new alarm/monitoring system in the new home. Lewis provided three different recommended options for updating/optimizing the system, and I picked the one in the middle of the price range -- although it did end up costing me more than initially expected in order to get the type of monitoring that I wanted installed, I am more than satisfied with the process and Secure24 Alarms.

The initial contact went well. professional and prompt with a response. When it came time for the installation whomever was sent to install tried to utilize the existing system, did not have the correct/new equipment detailed in the special offer and had to come back to fix the system later. Additionally, the installer had our system tied to the county versus the city as we are on the county/city line therefore if we had a true emergency we would not have had the proper response.

They were very punctural and very helpful in explaining and demonstrating the new system.

It was great. They did an excellent job with the installation, and I haven't had any problems since that point in time.

Everything went well with the activation. The only issue was that I didn't receive a new sign to place in my yard which was minor.

It was an excellent experience. Product and cost was as expected, service was better than expected. Kevin went out of his way answering my questions and setting up installation the next day to accommodate my schedule. Kyle was more that helpful going above and beyond to be sure everything possible was done and customized for us.

I came to know about them through a friend. The burglar alarm was free and I think they charged me about $35. They were highly professional.

The sales person was very informative. The installers showed up on time and installation was clean and complete. The installer also provided training on the system which was very helpful.
