 + -1 moreTook some time to have them contact me after filling out online form. Once contract signed, I had to call and ask when I could get on the schedule. Took two guys about 1 hour. The cleaning amounted to unclogging the gutter drains so that water could evacuate via the downspouts. Once I was scheduled, they were on time and in/out pretty quickly.

 + -1 moreAs with many projects on an old house, unexpected things turn up. The workers handled all of these very professionally. They ended up needing to come back to complete the work, but stayed in touch with us about when and who was coming. In the end, everything was taken care of, it looks great and works beautifully. I really appreciated the level of communication - they asked me questions rather than assuming (e.g. where to place the rain barrels).
Description of Work: We have a 110 year old house. Two porches, the summer house and the garage all needed gutters and downspouts replaced. This included adding two rain barrels (with diverters within the downspouts) and re-hanging awnings on the summer house.

 + -1 moreKen Jewell responded within 24 hours, came to my home, spent 45 minutes walking around the property, sat down and demonstrated the product and explained exactly what they would do. He presented an estimate to me immediately before departing. I contacted Neill who set a repair date. This was postponed because of rain, but 4 days later, Josh arrived at 7 AM and did all of the work in a timely and highly professional manner. All gutters and leaf guards are in position and look great. Would recommend highly without any reservation.

 + -1 moreThe serviceman who did the estimate was very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. I had another estimate from a different company, and they did not mention the fascia board needed to be replaced. I signed the service contact right away. The men who did the work a couple weeks later did replace the gutter and board but ignored a request to check out a problem with a second gutter, did not clean the roof off after doing the work (full of nails, slate chips and wood chips) and also left old fascia extensions sticking out at each end of the gutter that were peeling paint. I understood that this would be taken care of when the new gutter was put up, but I may have been mistaken. I did call the company and Neal was very receptive to listening and making things right. He had the serviceman who gave the original estimate call me, and he is going to come back and look at things. So, as of right now, it is not fully resolved. If I were rating the person who did the estimate, I would give A ratings.
Description of Work: Replaced 29' of gutter under slate roof. Tore down and replaced fascia board and wrapped with aluminum.

Description of Work: This review is long overdue, but I still want to commend Scott-Lee Guttering Company, Inc. for doing an AWESOME JOB!!! I needed to have some type of cover placed on the guttering at my home (due to a problem with leaves in the wooded back yard). When I called the company, I was put in contact with Mr. Bob Rozell. He immediately made an appointment for an estimate, and came out to the house. He said that their company offered different types of gutter covering, with a wide range of prices available. However, he also said that the best product he could recommend would be the installation of 5" E-Z Step Down Gutter Screens. He also stated that many of the workers at Scott-Lee had this installed on their own homes. He was certainly correct!! The installation was very quick and easy, the screens look great, they work great, and I was amazed at the reasonableness of the cost of both materials and installation!!! The installers were punctual, courteous, and did a very professional job!! They also cleaned up any mess that was left (including all of the leaves that were blown out of the gutters on the back of the house, which they did before installing the screens)!! This indeed, is an EXCELLENT PRODUCT, which was installed by an EXCELLENT COMPANY!!!

 + -1 moreCalled 5 companies to get an estimate. This was a small job but was told by all of them that someone would come out. Scott-Lee was one of only two companies that actually came (2 weeks later) and gave me an estimate. Mike answered all my questions regarding the work . I received a fair estimate in writing within a couple days. I was kept informed about their estimated date for work completion. The guys that came were efficient, knowledgeable, and professional in completing the job. I was happy with the work and will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Replaced a gutter and downspout with a larger size and re-routed/extended another gutter for better flow of water.

 + -1 moreWe had our old gutters removed and had them replaced with seamless white guttering and had a total of four downspouts put on. They team that came out knocked on the door to let me know they had arrived and I spoke with them about what I wanted changed and such. They were very nice and professional and got the job done quickly. I am very happy with the gutters and the added on gutter covers that I decided to go with. I'm not sure how the gutter covers will work but we'll see when spring and summer roll around again. I really was impressed by the pricing for what we had done since I had other people come out and give me a much much higher quote. I'm glad I went with Scott Lee since they had such good reviews on Angie's List plus the price was right!

 + -1 moreI had Gutter Monster gutters installed by St. Clair Corporation several years ago. Lately, I noticed water was running over the top of the gutters. I found that St. Clair Corp. was no longer in business, of course! So I went to Angie's list and found Scott-Lee Guttering. They came out today and Chris and Josh quickly fixed my problems. These guys were terrific and explained everything they were doing as they went along. I sure wish I had Angie's list years before. Now I know where I can find honest and qualified companies like Scott-Lee. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.Thanks Chris and Josh.

 + 0 moreI contacted them via their website to have an estimate done on all 3 types of gutter guards they offer. I was given a quote less than a week later with all the options and their costs. I then contacted them to see what their recommendation for my house was of the 3 choices. Once my decision was made, I sent back a signed quote and within a few weeks the work was scheduled and done! Perfect service! I did not need to be there when the quote was made or the work was being done. The gutter guards look great and our gutters now have the pitch they need to acutally do the job they're supposed to do! Now we just need some rain so I can see how well they work! I would highly recommend this company for any gutter work.
Description of Work: They cleaned our gutters, corrected the pitch of some of them, corrected a downspout that was connected poorly, and put on mesh gutter guards.

Description of Work: Company replaced my old gutters on the front of my house. The old gutter was not seamless and was leaking at one of the seals directly above the front door entrance. The water damaged the outside wall, my interior wall, my front door jam. Scott-Lee from the initial phone conversation was professional and courteous. I was pleased with the workmanship, the quality of the product and the professionalism of all involved! It has rained several times since the installation and me and my heart have peace! A Great Experience!

 + -1 moreGreat. They were timely, friendly and polite. Also really new what they were talking about when it came to gutters. Original gutters were too small for the house and they immediately recognized that.
Description of Work: We received 4 estimates for the gutters and this co. had been recommended by our painter. The quotes ranged from $1800 to $4000. Scott-Lee associates came out prior to the painting and tore all the gutter and downspots off. After the painting was complete, they promptly returned to put on the new gutters.
