Contractor has fair focus on quality of work but was not dependable, not trustworthy, and most importantly charged owners additional fees for work not accomplished. Owners and contractor signed an hourly agreement. Contractor charged owner additional hours throughout the project when he and his employees were not working at owner job site. (i.e. lied about the number of hours worked). Owners had to use the contractor to complete the job because they were new to the city and had to have the home renovated in a certain time span. Owners chose to pay contractor in full but believe they were overcharged approximately $8,000 throughout the project. Contractor used brother Bob to do a majority of the work if and when he could show up to the job. Contractor also used an unqualified laborer to perform many carpentry tasks which ended up being sub-par and below industry standard.
