They are the actual worst management company I have ever dealt with!! They took OVER a year to get an my service request fixed. Then they have the audacity to charge use extra because THEY can't manage money well. Absolutely awful. If you are thinking about moving into a building or buying a house managed by them, DON'T! They genuinely don't care about their residents.

I have a slum lord in south Saint Louis who did not take care of anything on his property premises while we were there front door on one hinge no windows in apartment closed etc... Yet my family and i lived at station plaza apartments now for 5 years. I cant speak on my first year with this property because i signed an non disclosure agreement and they also got rid of the previous manager. Debbie Jackson is the current manager . First words she ever said to. me after i said Hi can i pay my bill with you , was " Im only here to collect checks put people out " Never once did she mention take care of the property or the people living there. Like a prison Warden. Since then this lady has tried to unlawfully put my family including kids /babies some time with 2 weeks warning . This time i was asked to leave against a Missouri law that states if a baby is born within a leasing period the 4 people to an apartment does not pertain to their situation. However we have not been spoke to about this or even told thanks for living in the community once. We dont want to live here and been looking for suitable homes . This lady has been trying to make my family homeless . Stressing our life out. Weve been going from packed to unpacked every year with babies in our house. We dont owe money and i have more stories to prove this company and this lady are both trash Trash BAGS. Yet i dont have time and energy for it . I dont want any other families moving in this place . The maintenance man sucks smokes weed on the property with other tenants. when ever he comes to your apartment its always an excuse why he cant do something or has to get you old a** dirty equipment from another apartment and bring it in yours. We were told we would have new carpet or carpet cleaned since someone lived on the same carpet before us for years and we lived there for years. They made simple excuses like your furniture would have to be moved . ( We own a moving Business) so this would be nothing. We were also told that other things would be done but they were not done. o manager also said due to having a baby and work orders not being done we have to be gone at end of our lease. Not to mention we are on a month to month Annual lease which i dont know how the h*** thats legal . Please do not move to this property . This building should be removed from the area .
Description of Work: New carpet , new light fixtures or carpet cleaning new bathroom filter for fan just simple things. Also time to move and not rushed randomly because they promise anyone apartment.

Not well. My experience with their representative was very negative. She was rude and unprofessional. It takes quite a bit for me to get as frustrated as I was, much less to write a negative review, but this is well-deserved.

I've been without an intercom to let people (delivery men, Packages, friends) into our building for 5 weeks. I have to go down a flight and a half of stairs if we have told the people arriving here that our intercom isn't working so they can call us on the phone when they get here, then I have to go down and pick up the delivery or package and carry it up the stairs. I am 64 years old and suffer with asthma and am on Social security disability due a lower back injury (I also suffer from depression and anxiety). My Significant Other (my girlfriend) is 63 is also on Social Security Disability, has had a knee replacement, and recently fell down the hallway steps, breaking her left arm, and now has a rod and pins in that arm, and now gets very anxious when she walks the stairs. She pretty much only leaves the house for doctor visits, and has put on weight due to inactivity, so I would never allow her to go downstairs to the door to pick up a delivery. The intercom that is not working was just put in a few years ago, but when it broke and they found the part that wasn't working, it turned out that the part couldn't be replaced because it is not manufactured anymore, meaning the new intercom they installed was obsolete when they installed it. So now they old piece in in the state of Washington, where they don't know whether or not it can be fixed, (and although this is a Condo issue, and the problem was known to be on Condo property, and not in my personal Condo, I had to wait around for the repairmen, wasting two days, when it should have been the Condo Management staff waiting to meet the repairmen) so I may be looking at an extended time with no intercom. When I complained to the man that owns Rodemyer-Christel Condo Management, he lied to me about this (and a few other matters), then finally said, "That's how life is sometimes" on a voice mail. which set me off. I called him and left a message (he is almost never in his office, at least when I call) telling him exactly what I thought of him. He will now not speak to me, so I am sending a Condo Fee check to a company that doesn't represent me any more. I have been really angry, frustrated, depessed, anxious and feel totally disrespected. I obviously think very poorly of Rodemyer-Christel Condo Management, and I truly believe that if anything unfortunate were to befall this man, I would throw a party.

i have been a board member for the past 10yrs (almost since the inception of our assn) and have dealt with RCI managers, owner & accountant many, many times. i have a love/hate relationship with them. were it up to me alone, they would have been fired years ago - but it's not (keep reading ...) currently (since 11/2013), we have a new, young, whip-smart, with-it, engaged and easy to communicate with manager. our previous manager was an absolute DISASTER but liked by another board member. which just goes to show you that personality matters. imo, until our current manager, we have had 'acceptable' dealings with their personnel. except for the one who stole $10K from our association. the owner wouldn't believe us but, under threat of lawsuit, made good and reimbursed our organization. after which he discovered that she had stolen much, much more than a mere $10K from one small condo association his company manages and was, in fact, wanted in several ongoing investigations for similar activities. while i am glad that he embarrassingly apologized and reimbursed us for the funds she stole, it begs the question of how she became an employee in the first place. RCI charges our assn $20/unit to manage us monthly for a total of $400. because our current manager has gone above and beyond the call of duty, always attends our monthly board meeting (about 2hrs) after the regular work-day, responds quickly, succinctly and, very importantly CLEARLY regarding condo owner and board member issues, we pay her an extra $150/mo. thus bringing our currently monthly charges from RCI to $550/mo. so right now, i value and appreciate her work, the service she provides and her dedication to our rather small, 20-unit association. as with any situation like this where so many people are involved, we've had our ups and downs but, on the whole, RCI has 'done right' by us. currently i would recommend them.
