A/C stopped working, specifically the outside unit would turn on, then immediately off and not come back on each time I reset it. I explained the issue over the phone to the technician, and he indicated he would come by that afternoon, calling me 15 minutes ahead of time as I had requested. He did just that, and arrived at the state time. The 12-year veteran technician who arrived did a great job at explaining what he was doing, and why, and what results may be. He did ask when I bough the unit as he was aware most Amana/Goodman A/C units had 5-10 year warranties on parts (10 if you registered your product online, which I had). I did not have my paperwork, but he made a quick call to his company who then called the manufacturer to determine my warranty status, While waiting for a call back on that, he tested the outside unit and found a capacitor that was testing bad. He indicated the normal cost was $180 for the part, and got it from his van. Just before switching the part out, he got a call back from his company confirming that I had warranty coverage for parts and informing me that his only charges would be labor. The capacitor switch solved the problem, and my A/C is blowing cold. Total cost for the diagnostic service call and repair work was $160, which seems like a fair price (and a lot better than adding $180 for the part). I asked lots of questions, and the tech kindly answered them and clearly knew his stuff. He offered suggestions on keeping the unit clean without pushing additional services, only mentioning how he does it for customers. He was quite service oriented and trustworthy .Overall, very good experience with prompt service. Based on this initial experience, I will use them again and recommend to others their services.

I woke up yesterday morning and discovered that my outside unit was not running and I was only getting warm air. I called several companies to fix it, but Rhymes was the only company that would fix it that day. The technician came at 11 am and I was up and running at 11:15 am. Overall, Rhymes exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them.

Our entire experience with Rhymes was wonderful, from the bid to final installation of our new high efficiency furnace. This was the highest bid we received out of five different companies however the final price was reduced due to rebates. So far everything is working well and we are satisfied.

The only reason I went with a different company is that my current HVAC company was willing to discount their quote to match prices. (This amounted to about a $1000 discount).

Rhymes installed new AC unit on short notice at a decent price. This is the second time I have used their services (I have two AC units) and both times they have been prompt and professional.

It was a good, professional bid at what I considered a fair price. I chose to go with the company I had been dealing with for over 10 years as they also had a very good bid at a very fair price. The main difference was loyality to a firm I knew verses this firm that I did not know.

Service was as expected as I've had the company out annually for several years now. They were prompt, explained issues they did (needed coolant in one unit) or did not (all other parts of system were operating correctly) find with my system and what needed to be done to keep it running optimally. Also cleaned up any areas before they left.

Service was outstanding. Upstairs air conditioner went out in the morning and they sent out a service technician, Frank, right away. There was work done on the unit twice last year but the work done was by two other companies (they were sent by the homeowners warranty insurance co). Now without a policy and free to choose my service provider, I picked Rhymes because they were family owned and I grew up in a family business and good families tend to do good work. I immediately noted the difference with Rhymes. Frank was very professional in all aspects and was able to quickly diagnose the problem and ordered the parts for the repair. While waiting for the parts, he patched the unit together to get it running until the full repair could be done. He returned later in the day and installed the new piece and was out the door before 4. He was great about answering all my annoying questions about new unit options, costs, how to get it up there etc... even though he doesn't do installations. Unit is working well now and is upstairs just humming away. Yes Rhyme the repair seemed pricey, but skilled/professional employees and quality parts don't come cheap. I would rather pay slightly higher price for the all around top quality service I received than to get by cheap with anything less. I became a loyal customer today and will certainly hire them again in the future. What really set Rhymes apart was the quality of the technician. Other companies were able to fix the problem but they didn't have the level of professionalism Rhymes had. I'm picky about the people that work on my home and I will stay away from the home warranty so I can keep the freedom to choose professionals like these.

They got to us really quick and set up the upstairs unit as fast as possible to give us some relief from the summer heat. Duct work was installed at the same time and they did leave my plaster walls a mess. They told me to install a drop ceiling to cover it, even though we did tell them that we were leaving the ducts exposed. Overall though, they were very nice and quick!

It was great and I had no complaints. They showed up when they said they were going to show up and they offered us some rebate on the price and they came thorough without any problem. The air conditioning units we put in are more cause-efficient so we like that and the people we dealt with were really nice. I'm sure they were good on price.

I bought a Condo. I could tell the A/C was old. Unit was icing up. Got a checkup on the unit. Added Two pounds of freon. Unit works fine now. Got a bid on replacing the A/C.

Rhymes is very easy to work with. When I called the office to ask about this service and prices the people I talked to were very friendly and polite. They quickly and easily answered my questions and worked with me to schedule the service. On the day of the service they arrived at the scheduled time. They were polite and friendly. They were careful to cover their shoes to protect my carpeting. The technician was happy to answer my questions and to remind me how to turn off the humidifier. The work was finished in a timely manner and thoroughly.

Good! They did what they said they were going to do. Their price was reasonable. They were efficient.

The service technician showed up promptly and was very professional... He performed a diagnostics and found my ac was low on coolant he added some to it and it works great..

It went very well, with the furnace they had a minor issue with the wiring and I was without, but they came back and repaired it. The furnace has worked fine since.

Our central air conditioning stopped cooling and Rhymes found that the evaporator coils had at least one unrepairable leak. We were fortunate that Rhymes had an opening in their schedule and were able to remove the defective coils and do installation of a new unit only three days after ordering it. The technician arrived in early afternoon with the replacement coils but upon close inspection of the unboxed unit found that the Lenox warehouse has given him the wrong one. So he went back to the local warehouse and got the correct unit and installed, tested it for leaks and refilled with refrigerant. The whole process took about three and a half hours. Our air conditioning is working great again, before the summer heat returns.

I called Rhymes to set up an appointment to have them perform some routine maintenance on my AC unit. They were very accommodating with the selection of appointment times. I had asked that they call me before arriving to ensure that I was not otherwise engaged, and they were happy to do so. I received a call about 10 minutes before the technician was due to arrive. he was prompt and professional. He set about performing the maintenance requested and even walked me through a few items. Overall it was a pleasant experience at a reasonable rate. I will be looking to Rhymes for all of my heating and air needs.
