The salesman was knowledgeable and thorough. I did significant research and went with Carrier. I believe I received a fair price on excellent equipment. The installer arrived promptly at 7:00am as promised. He was cordial and clearly knew what he was doing. I was very happy with them and would recommend them.

I called on Thursday afternoon, and even though I was a new customer, Mike was here Friday at 11:30. He found the problem right away and fixed it in no time. He explained the repair to me, patiently answered my questions, and told me what might be needed in the future. I'm so happy I called Rhymes!

Adam showed up same day, took some readings, replaced the capacitor and recharged. From the time I noticed the problem to resolution was about 3.5 hours. Adam was friendly and professional.

The cost is less expensive if you go ahead and do both of them than it is if you do two separate. You get a discount of some sort. We've been doing it so long, it's just automatic. I like them just as they are. It's just routine maintenance so it takes 30 minutes max. They clean up after themselves beautifully.

I would recommend them to everybody we know. When they are just doing a routine check it takes them maybe 30 minutes, when they're replacing a whole unit that's a different story. That's been quite a few years though.

They're dependability and their knowledge are the best thing about them. That's what keeps us going back. They know what they're doing and we feel that they are doing a great job; why change. It was always left clean. Our furnace didn't break during the year. Our air conditioner didn't break during the Summer. They made things keep going and that's what we have them for. Checking it over to make sure all is well.

Just one came out to do the work. The workers were dependable & knowledgeable. It stood out that they are dependable, they show up when they make their appointments, they're on time, they're clean, and they know what they're doing. Everything was fine and perfectly clean.

One person comes out to complete the work. He was a very, very nice, friendly, well-informed, well-trained, and dependable young man. Their best quality is that they are so dependable and that we feel if we do have a problem they will help us out immediately.

We go ahead and do for both the air and the heat so then they'll come back in the Fall for the heat and there will be no charge. They come every year and do the air conditioner and the heat. We've had them coming for years. The cost was for the air and the furnace. They've always been great. Quite a few years ago now, unfortunately we'll probably need them again before long; our air went out with it was 100 and they were here right away to see if they could fix it. When they couldn't they recommended a new unit and got it all in within a couple of days max.

Their dependability, their courtesy; I think this guy even took his shoes off before he came in the door just to make sure he wouldn't track any mud on the carpeting. I was impressed.

We go to them because we feel they're dependable, experienced, knowledgeable, know what they're doing, well-trained, clean & trustworthy. We like them. That's why we've been going for so long.

It's like $160, but that gets me the spring one and the fall one. When they come back in the fall, I won't get charged. They run a special. So if you prepay and get both of them, they cut off like $40. It's really easy to get them to schedule. They were up front with me that I called right when everything was heating up and were like, "We just can't get to you before then, is that OK?" And I said, "Yep, that's fine." They'll work with you on your timing, and they are usually pretty good about giving you a call when they're on the way to your job so you have a couple minutes heads up that they're coming. They also are really up front about what might need to be done in the future versus what needs to be done right now.

Called 5 Heating and air conditioning companies with A ratings from Angie's List on Sunday morning. Left messages with each and several called back and said someone would call Monday AM with pricing and availabilty. Rhymes called Sunday morning and Steve Melton said he could be there in an hour to access our needs and give us a price. I let him know that how quickly it could be done would be a consideration and he said he would see what he could do. He gave me a quote which was significantly lower than quote I received on Sat. No hard sell. He talked to his boss and they could be out next am at 7:00 to install new units. Installers did a great job and new furnace and A/C was installed by 3:00 pm on Monday 7/24. Will use Rhymes in the future for all me heating and A/C needs. Of the 4 other companies I called on Sun 2 called Mon and one on Tues. One I have not heard from. I will rate them accordingly.

We have used them for years. They send the same technicians every time, and we know him well.

There were punctual. In addition, they dove right in to fix the a/c problem, which was most appreciated as the house was getting extremely warm with the oppressive, humid midwest summer heat. The house feels so much cooler today and I am much happier camper.

Perfect, from start to finish. Jen in the office was professional and efficient. Ronald arrived right time. He and his co-worker did the job and communicated when necessary but I stayed out of their way so they could do their job. They cleaned up everything, and doublechecked the yard to be sure they hadn't left anything behind during the haul-out process.

Excellent! They took about a half-a-day, and had to drill through my brick to install the higher-efficiency unit; they were on-time, made sure everything worked great, and did a very detailed installation. They were respectful of my house, cleaned up thoroughly afterward and I would use them again!

Rhymes first replaced the capacitor, which, restored service briefly, and returned the same day to replace the outdoor fan motor, which, permanently solved the problem. The technician was courteous and (unfortunately for him) was working in 100 degree heat. The issue that I had with Rhymes is the damage that occurred to the fan blade during its removal. In my opinion, the technician initially used a removal tool that bent the blade and that was not able to remove the blade from the old fan motor shaft. The technician did not initially use another tool that he had, that does not grip the softer metal part of the blade, due in part to that tool missing a set screw. After he purchased a set screw from the local Home Depot, he was able to successfully remove the blade from the old motor. Unfortunately, the damage sustained from the initial tool bent the blade and the only way to get a blade on a Saturday afternoon was to get a distributor to open its doors (total cost $216). Due to the 100 degree heat that day, and predicted 100+ heat the next day, I felt that I really had no option but complete the service and pay Rhymes bill at the time of service. On Monday after the repair, I contacted Rhymes and explained that I felt that I was bearing the full financial cost of a mistake by its technician, and requested some sort of financial accommodation, which, I did not receive.
