Description of Work: They were very helpful in assessing my various problems and discussing options. One issue was quickly resolved - I didn't know where my turn-off valve was. They fixed 2 leaky faucets rather quickly and then tackled a complicated outside faucet configuration. Great job on all of it.

Description of Work: clogged drain in kitchen. came out and brought drain guy who worked a long time and did not get it unclogged and charged me $185 and said he didn't know anything about the $25 credit on Angie's list for RG plumbing. So I paid and STILL had a clogged drain. They both came back 2 days later and tried again to no avail. The plumber came next day to say this job was too big and gave me a couple references. I called another plumber and had it fixed for less money in 30 minutes.

Description of Work: A water pipe leading to an outside hose faucet burst resulting in a stream of water shooting out through the brick wall. I immediattly closed the value in the basement leading to that faucet and called Randy Gibbs. Even though there was no longer any immediate urgency for a repair since the only consequence of closing the value was to make the toilet and sink in the bathroom near the entrance unusable - the water supply to eveything else in the house remain uninterrupted - Mr. Gibbs was on site within 20 minutes. (He lives < 1 mile away.) He repaired the break within the next few hours. Noteworthy and commendable about Mr. Gibbs is the promptnesss of his service; his personable manner and the quality of his work:: he took the time to detail the nature of the problem and the indicated repair; he cleaned up the worksite; and the problems I've called him about on previous occasions remain fixed, Doubly noteworthy and commendable is his honesty. He could have fixed the pipe leading to the faucet,; instead, he told me he could save me $400 in doing a much simpler fix, namely leading a new pipe before the break into a new outside faucet. Now how would I have known of this alternative repair without him telling me? In doing so, Mr. Gibbs dcemonstrated his commitment to the highest standards to which any customer would want his service provider to ahdere to, which includes not only competently doing what is required but not doing what is not required.

Description of Work: Randy removed an old toliet that the bolts were rusted, repaired a leak in the valve at the toilet shutoff and installed a new toliet he was great, fast, clean and affordable.

Description of Work: Our elderly house has rather idiosyncratic plumbing. We had not been able to get cold water out of the bathtub faucet in the guest bath for a long time, and decided at long last to get the problem fixed. We called Randy because we'd had such a good experience with him last year when he fixed a clogged drain for us. He was able to come the very next day. The job required a lot of analysis, and Randy and his helper worked for about 3 hours. Ultimately, he installed a new valve and fixture (which he supplied). The first results were not perfect; although the water flow was cooler and the tub was now usable, there was still not much cold water getting through the valve. Randy told us he would contact the manufacturer of the valve and get a solution. Five days later he called us and told us he was coming to replace a cartridge inside the valve. This he did (at no additional charge) and the new cartridge solved the problem.

Description of Work: Repaired bathroom pipes and replaced the large bathroom"stack" pipe. Crew member was kind enough to out on a new toliet seat as a favor. Thanks!!

Description of Work: Removed clog from one toilet. Replaced leaking valve on water line. Replaced all parts in tank on second toilet. Showed me how to undo sink drain to clean.
