Matt was prompt, professional, and fixed my plumbing problems with ease. When it was discovered that my plumbing issues were extremely simple, I was offered a discount. I will definitely use Plumbing Plus again!

I called on a Saturday morning and Matt called back in a short time and scheduled a time for that afternoon. He showed up and had the entire job finished within an hour. He was very professional and respectul. I would definitely use his services again.

Matt successfully completed two jobs for me, one at my premises and one at my rental property. Called Matt for an estimate at my premises to repair a leaking utility faucet and to install an ice maker line to include installing a cold water shutoff valve in the basement. We agreed on a evening appointment at 7PM on December 10, 2012 and as promised Matt was right on time. Within an hour both jobs were completed. Nice and clean installation at a very fair price which included labor and parts. Based upon this workmanship, Matt was hired for another job at my rental property. Once again he was on time for the Saturday afternoon appointment on December 22, 2012 where he installed a new bathroom tub faucet, replaced the kitchen faucet to include two new water lines and replaced a very old utility faucet. And again within an hour all three jobs were completed at a very fair price which include labor and parts. So if you got a plumbing issue, please give Matt a call. I don't think you'll be disappointed and you can't beat his willingness to work off hours at a favorable price.

Water was running from the first floor through to the basement and turning off the water main did not completely shut off the flow of water. I could not find any plumber to come out on a Friday afternoon. Then I called Plumbing Plus. On the phone, Matt instructed me to disconnect the line to the washer in the basement to let the water run directly into the basement drain. Matt was able to come later that same day and arrived promptly at 6:30 pm. After a run to the hardware store for a part, he fixed the leak. He was knowledgeable about old pipes, pleasant, and professional. Plumbing Plus solved my emergency and I am most appreciative!

Matt is very organized, once he arrived at the designated time he quickly determined what needed to be done. He arrived with everything he needed to complete the job. He is professional and knowledgeable, He cleaned up everything and the cost was better than reasonable. This is the second time that I have called Plumbing Plus and I will use them again and recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.

During a "routine" sewer line clearing, it was brought to my attention that there may be a possible break in the sewer line under the house. That is when the search for plumbing companies started on Angie's List! This search actually commenced the day after Thanksgiving. The first couple of places I called told me that I could not get a bid on the job until someone came out to camera the line and actually locate the problem. I called a few of the better rated plumbers on Angie's List, until I found Matt at Plumbing Plus. He was the most reasonably priced for the camera/locating job, and came out the next day (Saturday). I think the first positive comment I have about Matt is his ability to communicate with the customer. Matt was calling me throughout the day to let me know what is ETA would be and showed up exactly when he told me he would be there. Matt was having some difficulty with the camera, but he was still able to locate the problem in my line (about five feet from the base of the waste stack in the basement). Matt gave me a bid on the job before he left my house. After the issue was located, I called 5 different plumbing companies to get bids on the job (trying to be a responsible homeowner). Let me tell you that I was in shock when I started getting bids from these companies. However, in the end, Matt at Plumbing Plus gave the best bid on the job and I went ahead and scheduled. By the way, one of the top ranked Angie's List companies was bad mouthing Plumbing Plus after I told them that Plumbing Plus was one of the companies bidding on the job. He told me that he couldn't beat their bid and to be careful if I select them as I will get low end service and bad work in the end. That was a red flag in my book, not for Plumbing Plus, but for the company that was making the bad comments. No company should ever bad mouth another like that! Matt showed up on a Monday morning with his helper to begin the work. He told me up front that it would be a 2-3 day job due to the nature of the work and having to get the proper inspections from the county. As the work was progressing, Matt noticed that more of the pipe would need to be replaced than originally anticipated. He went ahead and replaced all of the pipe going from the stack to the wall of the house. I think the biggest shock was that he did the extra work at no extra charge. Matt worked all night until he had everything back up and running since I only have one bathroom in the house. After the final county inspection had been passed, the concrete floor was patched up. Is this where the story ends? Not a chance. Matt offered to come out after a few days to inspect the concrete patch and to clean up the work area (at no extra charge). This was a huge job in my book and Matt under-promised and OVER delivered!! If you are looking for a plumber who is HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY, AFFORDABLE, COMMUNICATIVE and an overall nice Guy to work with, then I would tell you to contact Matt at plumbing plus!! (By the way, I have to say that his helper Bob is a hard worker and does a great job with breaking up and patching concrete) I have already recommended Matt to a few of my friends and hope that everyone has the same positive experience that I had with Plumbing Plus. Thank you Matt (Plumbing Plus) and Angie's List for making this dreaded situation a pleasant experience!! I give Plumbing Plus an A++ across the board!!

He not only scheduled a repair he was able to repair it in the same day. He was professional, prompt and no nonsense. I would recommend him for plumbing issues to anyone. I will be calling him for another issue.

Matt is the guy who did the plumbing job at our place. He promptly took my call and actually came an hour early (of course he called me about it) and finished the job in time. He was courteous, looked professional and knew what he was doing. I would definitely call him for any future plumbing work at our place. Thanks

I called Matt and he picked up immediately - met me at my mom's house early the next day for a look. Although he had a super busy day, he fit us in the following day for the job. He called to confirm that initial meeting time and also the next day when he did the job. He arrived exactly on time - the early end of his range that he gave me (said he'd arrive in a 2 hour range and arrived at that early time right on the button! - actually, I think he called when he was on his way, too.) He said he hates to keep people waiting - he is very conscientious! He told us what product to buy and what not to buy.. then came and installed the toilet. This toilet had been in the basement FOREVER.. (since the early 40's!) It was installed on a concrete slab floor - and was not the typical toilet update, I'm sure. It required an extra trip to the hardware store since he encountered a surprise .. but he got everything working and in order in no time. He is an extremely hard worker and doesn't waste any time. I heard him on the phone with other customers and he is respectful and accommodating to everyone it seems! He did a wonderful job in my mom's house - and even gave me a little free advice on a few other things. He is just wonderful! I've used a few contractors here and there in the past - but Matt is just the best! He is respectful, knowledgeable, hard-working and very reasonable with his rates. Will definitely call him again and pass his name along! I've never even bothered to write a review before (for a product or person) but Matt deserves a big thank you - so I am doing it for him. wish we could CLONE him!

I called Matt when I got a HUGE water bill because of the running toilet. We had some minor issues and one big one (the garbage disposal), so I asked him about all of it. He scheduled a time that was convenient for me (on the weekend!), at no additional charge. He called Saturday morning to check if it was OK to get to my house a little earlier than planned. When he got there, I showed him all of the things that needed fixing. We talked about some others that I hadn't thought I'd do that day (e.g., replacing the kitchen sink). I'd wanted to do that, but thought I'd wait until spring (after the holidays). But it was going to be easier to replace the sink at the same time as the faucet (which was leaking and had a problem with the cold water), so we decided to go ahead with that, too. Matt wrote a bid for all of the details. It was $480. He got to my house about 11:00 and estimated that he'd be there until about 4:00. Of course, a trip to Home Depot was required for the things I didn't know I was going to need. Matt went with me and helped me make decisions. When we returned to my house, he got started right away. My home is over 70 years old, so of course he ran into some things that weren't expected. Matt took it all in stride and his attitude was always good. When it was obvious it was going to take longer than he'd estimated, he called the clients scheduled after me to be sure they were OK with the delay. I thought it was great that he was respectful of their time. Luckily for me, those folks rescheduled for the next day (Sunday!), so Matt was able to stay and complete my job. It took him at least two hours longer than he'd planned (he didn't leave until about 6:45), but he insisted on sticking to his original bid. I rounded it off to $500 and didn't use my Angie's List coupon (still not enough, I'm sure). Additional costs included the materials (garbage disposal, sink, faucets). Matt was extremely professional, obviously knew what he was doing, and was determined to do everything the right way. I can't say enough about Matt. He will definitely be my go-to plumber from now on. One of the reasons I called him initially was because he's a small-business owner (there are just 3 employees total) and I figured it was harder for him to compete with the big guys. He was one of the few plumbers on AL who had weekend hours -- a HUGE bonus for working people. The reviews were excellent, so I gave it a shot. I'm SO GLAD I did! Believe me, you will be, too. I have a big grin now when I walk into my kitchen and bathrooms. And I didn't have to pay a fortune to feel this way. Very, very nice.

Went perfect. Very professional, very polite. Came in on time, saw the problem, went to the hardware store to grab something, and came back and fixed it. Would use again in a heartbeat.

Matt was very polite. He is very punctual he calls when he's on his way. Does a very good job and leaves the area clean. He lets you know how progress is going along the way and lets you know if he needs to go get parts. I would absolutely recommend him and will use him in the future. I think Matt goes way beyond his call of duty. Very helpfull and he's not satisfied if you are not.

I called Matt over the week-end, due to a leak under my kitchen sink. He called back promptly Monday morning. He diagnosed my leak quickly as caused by the hose from my pull out faucet. He removed the hose and went to several plumbing supply locations trying to find a replacement. He thought he found the right part, but after installing discovered it wasn't a good fit. Although I ultimately had to replace the entire faucet, I appreciate Matt's efforts in trying to save me money. I paid $185 for his service and repair, the rest on parts.

When I called, I was upset because we came home from work to a leak in the water line behind the washing machine. Matt answered the phone and was on his way to another job. Even though he was at the bank at the time, he took the time to talk to me about what the possible problems could be. When my fiance seperated the line from the washing machine and water started pouring out the line, he was very patient in explaining what to do and how to turn the water off at the main line. He was not availble tonight to come fix the line (and he knew this the entire time that he was on the phone with me, patiently explaining what the problem could be and how we could fix the immediate problem) and he recommended another plumber who he trusted. I was impressed at his overall professionalism and I would like to hire him for future jobs. The best part o the experience was that I did not have to mention that I was an Angie's List user! I would recommend him to anyone.

We went downstairs on Friday night and discovered a big mess - black water, small pieces of food, and lots of grease that had come "up" through a downstairs sink and was all over the tile floor, carpet, etc. Called our regular drain folks (who are excellent) and they determined it was likely a break and recommended Matt at Plumbing Plus. Called Matt late Friday night and without hesitation agreed to come out ON SATURDAY to see what needed to be done (this was impressive by itself.) He was able to confirm our pipe had broken down in two different places, and MUD had found its way into the pipe (it was under the house.) We feared it would be a tremenous expense, but Matt encouraged us with an immediate estimate - and no charge for the Saturday visit! - talk about customer service! He also advised us to get the other pipes checked with a camera so if we had any other problems, we wouldn't have to break up the basement floor twice. He and his assistant (Mike) were courteous, personable, knowledgeable and hard working - so much so that I would have felt completely comfortable leaving either of them in my house without me there. The job took several days, and they kept to the schedule they promised, were able to deliver on each part of the job (including putting down the new concrete) and always cleaned up everything that could be cleaned up at the end of the day. They also returned on a Saturday to help my husband replace the bar that had to be moved, and made several adjustments so it fit around the new pipe properly. Can't say enough about them, including that despite this exceptional service, my husband said the price they charged was "more than fair." Hope I don't have any other plumbing problems, but very, very glad to have someone I can call who is trustworthy.

He did a great job. Very friendly. When his first job of the day ran longer than he had thought, he made sure to call me and give me an updated time frame.

Matt did a great job. He worked around my work schedule and came in the evening to do the repair. He even did this when he was leaving on vacation the very next morning. When he looked at the toilet, he did not have the part with him to fix it, so he ran out to the store to get it. Honestly, I was thinking that I was about to have to write a huge check--- after hours, making an extra trip to the store to get a "special part" that isn't on the truck. Sounded like the bill was going to rack up quick. But, to my surprise, he came back right away with what he needed and told me it was only $6 for what he got. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by that! The toilet got fixed and I think the whole bill was about $100. I thought that he was a hard worker and was honest. Would call him again if anything breaks.

Matt is a very honest man who I would hire again without question. He was respectful and courteous the entire time. Matt is not the type of plumber that plumber X obviously was.

Called and spoke to Matt. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone. After I called a few other places I called him back and he was able to come the same day. He was prompt and was able to show/explain what was needed for the repair. When he completed his work, he showed me to ensure I was satisfied. He was professional and I would use him again.

On a whim, when at the local hardware store, I purchased a new faucet early on a Saturday morning of a holiday (i.e., Labor Day) weekend and when I got home I searched Angie's for a highly rate local plumber. I contacted a couple of companies that were not available until the following week and my third contact was Matthew at Plumbing Plus and he was able to do the job yet that day. He was punctual, pleasant, and got right to work. Removing the old faucet was much harder than either of us expected but he kept his cool, kept at it, and eventually removed the old faucet taking extra care to not damage the granite counter top. The installation of the new faucet went perfectly and my wife and I are both very pleased with the results. Given the difficulty removing the old faucet I expected a higher charge but Matthew said that's what he quoted so that was what he was going to charge.

The work was timely and well-done. The people doing the work were friendly and respectful. All was done on-time. It was a messy and difficult job, and they left the area reasonably clean. They were open to questions about their work.

During the estimate Matt did a good job explaining the process and how long it would take, and that this was a repair he routinely did in older homes. He used an impact-type drill to break up the concrete which kept dust to a minimum. The job seemed to go quicker than he had estimated. Matt and Bob came back the next day for the city inspection, then they poured new concrete and hauled away the debris. They gave instructions for when we could walk on the concrete and clean the floor. I would use them again - they were professional and courteous.

THE SERVICE TECH DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY. HE DID SOME EXTRA STUFF THAT HE DIDN'T CHARGE FOR SO IN MY OPINION HE WAS EXCEPTIONAL!
