Fantastic. Very professional. Took a little longer than anticipated but he still honored his original price. I can tell he takes pride in his work and always strives to do the job right, even if it means longer hours. His employees were courteous, hard working and professional as well. I have never had this type of work done before, but I can easily say that he is the best in town at what he does with VERY FARE prices. Would hire again in a heartbeat

We contacted this company on Saturday, 3/5/16 at 4:14 because his business hours were stated as open 7 days a week until 7:00 pm. We told him we had a leaking toilet and it was not a emergency so we set-up a time for Monday, 3/72016. He told us he would be there sometime after 5:00 and would call an hour before arrival. When we did not hear from him, I called him that same night at 6:50 pm. He stated he got sick that day and went home early, however, he did not notify us that there was a problem. So he ask if he could come tomorrow Tuesday, 3/8/2016 and asked what would be a good time for us and I said anytime after 9:30 am. He did not show-up again and again we never received a call. So I contacted another plumber listed on Angie's List today Wednesday, 3/9/16.
Description of Work: Nothing - did not show-up and did not call.

Matt was wonderful! We needed a new water pressure valve since ours was original to the house. He ordered the part and scheduled the install, once the part was in. Installation was a breeze and he was professional as usual. He even took a look at our daughter's bathroom toilet, which keeps leaking and ordered a part for that too. He will be back soon with the replacement part for that as well. We love the service that Matt with Plumbing Plus gives us. He is such a pleasure to work with! Plumbing Plus is the ONLY plumbing service that we will ever use!

Plumbing Plus was great to work with. The owner arrived to give an estimate when he said he would and after I accepted the bid he was able to get me on the schedule very quickly. His bid was the best by far; and he indicated it would be a three or four day job. There was a crew of three who dug up the floor and removed the pipe on Monday and they actually started to replace the line that evening. This is hard, dirty work and the guys were happy to let me watch and answer all of my questions. They also kept the dirt piles well managed. Installation of the new line was completed early on Tuesday. Because of a government holiday, the inspector wasn't able to come out until Wednesday. The inspection went well. Due to unexpectedly heavy snow, the crew wasn't able to backfill and concrete on the third day, but they were there bright and early on Thursday and had the hole filled and concrete poured before lunch. They hauled out all of the leftover dirt. If not for the weather, they absolutely would have had it completed in three days. Matt came back on Sunday after the concrete had fully cured to clean everything up. He left the basement clean, which given the nature of work, I can't emphasize how important this is. Plumbing Plus had a great crew, did great work, did everything they said they would in the time frame they said they would, and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone I know who is looking for a plumber. If you need your rotting cast iron line replaced, there is nobody else you should even consider calling.

Matt and crew did an excellent job. They arrived on time and were prepared to do the work. It involved digging out the basement sewer drain line and pouring new concrete. It was a dirty job to dig out the concrete and mud. When they left they insured the area was clean and the work was done as promised. The price was exactly what was quoted. I would definitely recommend and hire again.

Description of Work: My main water shutoff valve had a leak. Over the phone, the plumber talked me through fixing it myself. Took 5 seconds to fix. I spent more time trying to find a pair of pliers to accomplish the task. This woud have been a $75 charge if he came out to my house. Definately a standup guy and truly knows his profession. Outstanding service, done on time, professionally and at a reasonable price. I've had problems with the main line: it was a 100 years old cast iron which kept clogging. Last roto-router that opened it said that there probably no other way but to replace the line, which may have partially collapsed. I've looked up a few plumbers and found Plumbing Plus on Angie's List. The company had lots of A reviews and decided to give it a try. The service certainly lived up to its reputation. Matt, the owner, came up exactly on time the first time we scheduled to evaluate the project and provided very professional opinion and a reasonable estimate. The work has started on the date scheduled and was done exactly by the time Matt said it would. The new line was inspected and even the town inspector noted high quality of Matt's work. Everything works fine now and there are no problems. Overall, great service, very professional, Matt certainly cares for his customers. Would definitely recommend Plumbing Plus for your plumbing projects. Alex.

Matt is AWESOME! First, his price was extremely reasonable and he and his team showed up promptly on Monday morning. They did exactly what he promised to do in the time frame he said he would do it. Matt brought proof of insurance the first day and walked me through the estimate. Work was done in 4 days and the problem was resolved. Matt always answered his phone (I never once left a message - and I called him a lot). He also went above and beyond in repairing updaters leaky faucets. Turns out we had some unique faucets that were difficult to find parts for, Matt went to several plumbing supply stores and finally found the part at a much cheaper price for us than if the whole unit had to be repaired. I would absolutely recommend Matt and Plumbing Plus for any problem or issue. highly professional, honest, responsive and competent.

The owner came out to do the job personally. Did a great job, also was very helpful and explained everything in great detail, which I like. Not only did he bid the job cheaper than anyone, he went above and beyond, also calibrating an expansion tank that got installed with a water heater by a previous contractor (that they hadn't calibrated because there was nothing to calibrate it against - all of which was helpfully explained to me). Basically, if you hire this company you can expect that the job will be done correctly, and you won't end up getting upcharged even in situations which most other contractors would. Great company, would hire again.

After a drain service diagnosed my sewer issues via camera, they called Plumbing Plus to give me an estimate. Matthew Baese showed up within 30 minutes. He gave me a quote and returned 2 days later to replace all of my sewer pipes. He showed up when he said he would and finished the entire project in 3 days. When I got home the first day, I thought the plumbers had not been here because there was no mud anywhere. I went downstairs and was amazed at how clean they left everything, especially considering they had to bust up the concrete and had piles of dirt sitting next to the open pipes. They hauled off the concrete and did not leave a mess for me to clean up. Matthew provided pictures of every phase of the project for my insurance company. He also noticed that the basement toilet/sink were not vented properly and repaired that as well. He also made a new drain pipe for my washing machine. Plumbing Plus is fabulous. Matthew Baese is a very kind, honest man. He and his crew finished the work the day before Thanksgiving, and I was certainly thankful!!!! I am 57, and this is my first home. I feel very fortunate to have found such a great company.

We were selling our house and had barely more than a week to complete a sewer repair before closing. The buyers requested we use a well-known, large plumbing company, and Plumbing Plus came in more than $1000 below their estimate. Matt was extremely responsive and more than happy to do whatever he could to accomodate our unusually tight timeline. The job was completed a couple days before I what I assumed was reasonable, and they kept me posted on progress every step of the way all the way up until final clean-up. We've used another plumber somewhat regularly over the past 2-3 years who we've been perfectly happy with (their prices are mid-range, as far as I can tell), but now knowing that Plumbing Plus can deliver on quality and customer service at such a competitive price, they'll probably be my first call in the future.

He cancelled 2 times and finally came out when the third appointment was scheduled, which was a Monday. I asked him not to mess up anything in the shower, such as the shower wall and he stated he wouldn't touch it. He stated he didn't do any carpentry work. There is a tile closet to get to the shower and it can also be accessed through the basement. He has charged me $625 for the total work. He labeled $450 for labor (which is $225 an hour as he was only there for 2 hours) and $175 for parts (which my nephew found at Lowe's for under $80). He basically replaced 2 6 inch copper pipes, soldered them in a few places, and put a new faucet on. He didn't leave the new shower head behind that I apparently have paid for. I honestly don't see the charges adding up.

Response from Plumbing Plus
WOW. Where do I start on this one? Ok, I'll with the price. My original price quoted was 675.00, I was unable to use the Moen shower plate due to how deteriorated the wall was so I took it off the price, I charged 50 dollars less than my agreed to price, and still got an F on the price. GO FIGURE? SECOND, this is a landlord tenant situation I never met the owner and only dealt with her tenants. I had constant communication with the renters for scheduling, I did my best to squeeze this job in to an already tight schedule, they both knew this. The renters and owner were informed, and no one's schedule was ever compromised or taken for granted. THIRD. The landlord had let the problem/leak go on so long the floors in the bathroom had warped, and the wall had deteriorated and molded, behind plastic shower wall, it fell apart in my hand, normally I would have used the repair plate I had quoted, but there was no solid wall left to attach it to. FOURTH . My parts/labor 1. I don't shop at Lowes, I shop at Plumbers Supply, they are different parts, different prices, and better quality than you will find at a box store, so the Moen valve & tub/shower trim kit is 115.00, 2 1/2 inch shark bite fittings, 20.00. A stick of 1/2 inch copper 12.00, 3 1/2 inch 90's 6.00. 1 1/2 inch coupler about 1.00, I also add 25.00 to every sautering job to cover sauter, flux, brushes, pipe cleaner cloth, cutters, and cutting blades, and gas + torch tips. Then also figure if I was there 3 hours, I also had to get the parts, along with port to port driving. So about 95 an hour in reality. FINALLY, the showerhead. I replace with what comes with a standard trim kit. I ask the tenant if they would like the new showerhead, or if they wanted to keep their aftermarket hand held. They said they wanted their handheld. After I had left and the owner called me demanding it, I offered to go back and put it on. That wasn't good enough though, she wanted a 100.00 dollar after market shower head for FREE. I told her no. Then she refused to pay as promised.

It was a very interesting project. Matt's team removed 10 feet of dirt to find the storm pipe to replace it. After the dirt was removed, the team learned there wasn't any pipe. In 1950's they did a french drain, meaning a 2 ft pipe stopped and then there was a bunch of gravel. So the team attempted to recreate the french drain, but bigger and better. I was warned this may not work, but we didn't know what else to do without getting into an enormous project. Unfortunately, the next big rain came and we got more water in the basement. I called Matt and he come over within 2 hours. The next day, the team started digging and running a pipe to connect into the nearest drain. Matt said since his original plan didn't work the first time, he fixed the issue at no charge! I own a house and a bunch of investment property. First time I have ever worked with a contractor with this much integrity. He answered the phone every time I called. Just based on his experience, he found a pipe buried in cement, without the use of a scope. Matt just knows his business. End of story... A++++ One of a kind contractor.

The drain in the basement began to back up. We had the drain snaked and a camera was used by a different company to identify the problem. The Cast Iron portion of the drain had collapsed and mud was clogging the drain. The company we first spoke with wanted too much to do the work which consisted of jackhammering out 20 feet of concrete and digging down about 2 to 3 feet to get access to the pipe, replacing the pipe, backfilling and laying concrete back down. We searched on Angie's list and found Matt. He came out the same day (Saturday) to take a look and gave me a quote on the spot to do the work. His quote was significantly less than the first company we dealt with and extremely competitive with the other companies we had received estimates from. Plus, Matt was able to show up on Monday and start the work. He stated that the work and inspection would be complete by Wednesday. Even with a few unexpected hiccups, Matt and his team worked hard to complete the work as promised on time. The drain works great now and no backups. We will definitely be calling Matt if/when we have any other plumbing issues we need to address.
