Courteous, honest, everything works. Monitoring service always available and have been quick to resolve problems.

We constantly had communications problems from our wireless unit to their monitoring office. Probably every other month for 2 years. That is if there were a break in it would not be detected. This is the essence of what we are buying. After getting ADT there. it was discovered that they placed the wireless devise in a very bad area and it was under powered. The ADT devise has worked flawlessly for over 3 months now. Then this week we got a bill from philibert for 3 months not paid. Turns out their billing system screwed up. They are truly incompetent. Rookies in this field. Don't ever use them.. For piece of mind use real pros like ADT.

Showed up on time and did a professional job. We've had the service for about a year now and have been very satisfied with the price and coverage. The last contact was when they called me because we had a power outage and they wanted to check on the system.

Was a good value for the money. Came to our house and provided a list of possible services. No hard sell for any of them. Has worked fine since being installed.

Like many homeowners, we'd had an alarm system installed for just $99, but paid for the labor and equipment several times over in monthly monitoring fees for the next three years. When the monitoring contract finally ended, I called the company to request a reduction in the monitoring fee, but they responded with a polite, but definite, "No." Armed with information about several companies from Angie's List (of course), we chose Philibert Security Systems and asked them for a quote. The representative who came to our home is the owner's daughter. She was very nice and quite knowledgeable; after evaluating our system, she suggested some enhancements and emailed the quotes the next morning. There was never any pressure to purchase the add-ons or to sign on the dotted line. We did chose some additional equipment that made sense to us. Monitoring of our alarm system is now done locally for a fee that is less than half what we were paying and we're very pleased.

We have previously used Philibert for monitoring over the pat 8 years, and have provided excellent service at a great price. When we recently moved, we wanted them to take over the new system from another St. Louis company, CDA. My conversations and investigation into CDA was not reassuring, including reports of multiple lawsuits against them. Philibert gave me a very reasonable estimated price on taking over the system, including a recommendation that we needed two new smoke alarms. At the time of the switch over, CDA refused to transfer the cellular transmitter despite previously stating over the phone that they would. We also found later that the power supply for the system as installed by CDA was inadequate and that the smoke detectors did not signal reliably. Altogether, Philibert had to come out to the house 4 or more times to get everything working correctly, but they did not charge for the extra labor. I really appreciated that and will remain a loyal customer.

We have used Philibert for 15 years and most recently had them install a new system in our new house. They have always been very responsive, reliable and take the time to carefully design a system to meet the specific needs of your house.

We mutually agreed upon the date of installation, as it was an entire day to install the system. The technician arrived promptly as scheduled. I had a friend present for the installation, as I was unable to be away from work that day. The wiring for the system was professionally installed, to the point that I was unable to detect that a system had been installed, and I knew exactly what areas of my home he was wiring! The technician then described how he discreetly installed and hidden the wiring, thoroughly explained how to arm/unarm the system, explained in detail how to periodically test the system, the keypad handbook was provided and he did a "hands-on" training session for me and a neighbor to ensure that we understood the process should the alarm activate. Due to his thorough explanation/training session, the technician's time ran past his normal work hours, and he maintained the same professionalism that Mr. Philibert did during our meeting. There was NO high pressure to understand the system, as he patiently answered all my questions, and advised to please call should I have any questions. There has been NO problems with the alarm system. The entire staff at Philibert gives their customers quality customer service all the time, and not just when they want you to contract their services.

If we did not already have an alarm system I would have had no problems going with the company. The one item that held me back from selecting this company at this time is the web capabilities. The company does not offer this option at this time. I do like they are a local service but I am all about changing my codes and alternate uses via the web since I do this frequently. I was disappointed they did not offer this service yet.

Quick estimate...they seemed to know exactly what we were looking for right away. Also really great price for excellent service. Installation was scheduled and completed to work with our tight schedule...very appreciated!

I needed to slightly upgrade the alarm system in the house and have it activated. There were some problems early on that were no fault of Philibert but we worked through them and I have had no issues since then!

They went above and beyond in finding solutions that met my precise needs. For instance, the basement windows that opened in, instead of putting expensive sensors on that they sprung one wire across them so that the wire would be tripped if the window opened so they didn't have to have glass sound pickups. That was very inventive and actually where the modern stuff is best they recommend the modern stuff but if some old technique like that works in your situation that's what they are willing to do. They spent a lot of time with me they spent about two hours with me for free discussing what I would need and what I would feel best with and that kind of stuff.They thought of different solutions for having a pet in the house that might set off differnt kinds of alarms and that was part of it. I let the cats down in the cellar and if they knocked something off the shelf or something like that might have set off the window alarm and that was another reason why we went with the trip wire thing. They made sure if anything there was one window that kept giving me problems and they came out twice at no extra charge to decrease the sensitivity at that one window.They offered screens because they said in the spring and the fall I might want my windows open and you wouldn't want to turn off all the alarms so at one end of the house and the other end of the house I paid a little extra and that was part of the price to put screens set in stones are the security alarms so I can open the windows the front of the screens and that would be fine but if anyone came and tried to break into the screens the alarm will go off. I did look into a couple of other things. The main reason for the expenses is that its hard wired its not like it has a battery that can go bad. It's like every window has got a wire going into my unfinished basement so they had to do alot of drilling and alot wiring. If they use a phone system goes out they use a cell phone but if the electricity goes out I am not sure about that. For what I got the price was quite reasonable and I would recommend them to a lot of people.

They are very responsive, professional and provide much better security system than the other I had earlier. The other security system was not working well for me, but this one is working really fine. The service is very good. I called them with chirping problem in the security system and they told me exactly what the problem is and how to fix it. They sell you products only that you need and the price is competitive.

They are the same company that set the system up. A couple of years they made us pay a mandatory $400 upgrade to keep the system working, but overall they are ok. They are close by and that's convenient for me.

The cameras are amazing and the whole service is fantastic. I am thrilled with the service and I would recommend them to other people any time. They are easy to work with and their prices were reasonable as well. I am pleased with them.

I am very pleased with this company. The owner himself visited our house to work out the installation details. The system has performed beautifully and the monthly monitoring fee seems reasonable. We recently had a false alarm due to excessively cold weather, which they handled very promptly. They notified the police, who were at our door within minutes. They are very good about updating their records on who has keys and who to call if an alarm goes off.

I THINK THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH. THEY MADE A MESS DURING THE INSTALLATION.

I HAVE JUST REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH THEM, THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS.

THEY SEEMED A LOT MORE INTERESTED IN SELLING NEW SYSTEMS THAN IN SELLING OLD ONES.
