It went fairly poorly from that point on. We were told that someone would come out to fix it. Three or four different times we were told someone was coming out on a certain day to fix it and the day would come and pass w/o anyone coming. Once they called and said they were coming in a couple hours, and my husband left work to meet them. However, no one ever showed up. Eventually, after several weeks, someone finally came, installed part of the ice maker and said he'd have to order the gasket for the seal. We called week after week and were repeatedly told the gasket wasn't in. Eventually, they offered to exchange the refrigerator at no cost and w/ no additional delivery cost. My husband picked one out, and they said that it was an "upgrade" so we'd have to split the delivery cost w/ them. My husband initially refused, but then called them back and agreed to it. They said they'd deliver the new refrigerator on Monday. Monday came and they said that they didn't know we wanted the fridge, etc. I told them we had called back and they arranged to deliver the refrigerator a few days later. My father decided to go to the store to make sure that they were planning on delivering it after all. As soon as they saw him walk into the shop, they ran over to the fridge to put a sold sign on it. It seemed as if they were still trying to sell the replacement refrigerator. Finally the new fridge came, it's working, and I'm happy to be done w/ arguing w/ them.
Description of Work: We bought a used refrigerator from them and had it delivered the following week. The refrigerator was delivered w/o the ice maker they said they would have installed and w/ a seal that didn't seal all the way around the refrigerator.

I'll post more about the matter after I get the fridge pan or repair
Description of Work: Not good anymore! I have purchased a used washer and dryer and gas stove from them about 7 yrs ago and they were cheap and worked well and have had no problems with them to this day. They weren't perfect looking but were each under $100 and was really happy with them. Recently I called them for a fridge. They said they had several, and one was a really nice one and they wanted $300 but would take 225 if I got it right now. Well having a good experience in the past I trusted them. I was going to come get it in my van which means I'd have to lay it down to move it, and of course then I'd have to leave it unplugged and vertical for 24hrs to make sure all the freon went back down. they told me that they would void my warranty if I did that. So I asked them for a delivery. They charged me an additional $45 and emphasized that they would deliver it before 11am and I had to have someone there. They didn't arrive until after 2pm creating problems at work. and the fridge they delivered was below average AT BEST. It is also leaking at the bottom. So I called them, instead of sending someone out they insist it probably just needs a pan and want me to come out there to get one. I'm getting ready to do that but if it doesn't fix it I'm going to insist on a replacement or repair and from the attitude of the guy I just spoke with I have a feeling I'm not going to be happy. Also, During my call I asked about a used gas dryer for my friend and even though dryers are very simple machines. they are now asking $150 and up for the used ones. Unless the $150 dryers are a lot nicer than the ones I previously bought I can't see paying that much since the older models were $250-450 new.

I was familiar with this store because I drive by it every day. I had been in the store to browse. I bought the dryer and took it home on a Friday. It did not work. I called them and they sent someone out to look at it on Monday. They worked hard on getting it to run. They ended up replacing my dryer. They were apologetic.
Description of Work: I purchased a second-hand gas dryer at this store.
