Nu-View Replacement Windows & Doors

The team was prompt, professional, clean and detailed. We received several bids for this job and NuView offered the best combination of quality, price and reputation for doing an outstanding job. They definitely came through for us too and I would recommend them to anybody. Furthermore, they installed a nationally recognized brand of window (Vinylmax) rather than a locally-built proprietary product. This gave us a bit more confidence that if something fails, and the installer is no longer in business, we would have the option going to a larger manufacturer for warranty work.

The owner Dave was very knowledgeable about the products we were interested in. He brought literature to show us as well as a sample of the sliding door to show how it was made. There was also helpful information about the products they carry on their website. He was on time for both the initial visit and on the installation day. He and another guy installed both doors in about 3 1/2 hours. The patio door was installed without any damage to the inside or outside trim. I had been concerned about that. They had to install some aluminum trim along the bottom of the sliding door and around the sides of the storm door. That turned out well. Looks good. I thought their work was completed in a very timely manner. Both doors operate well. One thing interesting. Dave said they also repair windows, even ones that they did not install. That may come in handy someday.

From the beginning, when he came to my home and prepared a formal work order with estimated cost, through the installation today of multiple windows in my home, Dave Manser was professional and courteous. He was neat and efficient in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. The windows look great and I'm very pleased with the work performed by Nu View.

The windows are well-made and have made a very noticeable improvement in our energy costs as well as reduction of drafts, etc. Dave and his team do a great job and are very detail-oriented in the work as well as disciplined in their clean-up. We had two windows that had a couple of problems we noticed after they left and Dave got back out to adjust them super-fast and with no hassles. Great company to work with and I *highly* recommend both their company and the quality of the windows they use. Don't pay more for name brands like Anderson - these windows are excellent!

Nu-View was outstanding from start to finish. They gave us a prompt and thorough in-home estimate. The windows arrived on time and were installed in only two days. The workmen were friendly and considerate -- they even worked around my baby's nap schedule! They left the house very clean, too. The windows are high-quality and they look fantastic. The pricing was very competitive. I recommend Nu-View without reservation.

Every contact with the company was positive. He was always exactly on time. In the introductory meeting, he educated us about the product and answered all of our questions. We were told it would be 4-5 weeks before the windows arrived. I believe it was just under 5 weeks. There was no surcharge for lead paint precautions (I don't know if we have lead paint on the old windows or not). I assume he tested the windows and took the required precautions because he did alert us to that possibility. They disposed of not only our old windows, but the old storm windows and screens as well. The installation took less time than originally billed. He said it would take about a day and the exterior work might spill into an extra day, but they were gone by 2:30 same day. He was always very professional and polite. We weren't home for the rest of the work crew, so no comments on that. Ultimately, I don't think there is a single thing I would change about the experience.

They did excellent work, and also did an excellent job keeping the worksite clean during the process. They worked with us to find the right windows and doors for our house. They completed all work in just two and a half days. We would defiintely recommend them to anyone.

We could not be happier with the service that Dave Manser provided. This is not an organization that sends out a salesman and leaves you wondering who will actually show up to install the windows. Prompt , courteous , fair, and professional.

Dave did an excellent job. We were able to get an estimate very quickly to replace two windows. He was polite, punctual, conscientious, and did a wonderful job. The work area was kept neat and tidy, and he returned all items back to their places. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nu-View to our friends and neighbors. And the windows are a nice product, too.

Dave and his crew arrived on time and worked until the job was completed. They were careful to remove any furniture, appliances, window curtains, and wall hangings which could be damaged during the removal and installation. When they left, everything was replaced as it was originally located and there was no debris left behind. They were an absolute joy to work with. I am extremely satisfied with the garden window and hardly wait to begin adding plants.

Myself and my husband purchased a home in August 2014 with exterior logs and very old windows that were totally inefficient; the gas had gone in a couple of them and most of the windows had a milky coating, gaps, warping you name it they were over. Winter was approaching and we really did not want to spend the first one here with draughty windows. I shopped around and educated myself as to what kind of windows we might want and the price range we might be looking at. We had 3 companies, including NuView, come out to the house. We liked Dave from the get-go, he is not the typical sales guy and didn't push anything on us that seemed unecesarry, in fact he advised against a couple of options as he did not feel they were needed. That truly was a plus for us. His quote was middle of the range, but due to his demeanour and professionalism and the reviews I read we felt safe in his hands. When we picked out the frames we noticed that the choice of colours was not as extensive as some of the other providers, but we felt quality and good workmanship outweighed colour choice. We did find a colour that happily mixed in with our home, including any changes we may make to the exterior. Our order was made around November and we had the windows installed in December just before Christmas, yay! Whenever I read big purchase reviews I always wish people would update their reviews after living with their choices for a while, which is why I purposely waited before I reviewed our experience. So, 3 months in and after a cold and snowy winter I can report all is well. Our thermostat stabilised after the windows had been installed and we noticed it heated up much more efficiently than before with the old windows. It was a welcome relief not to have to keep increasing the temperature in the house just to get it warm. Everything works well, easy to open and close, easy to clean, no leaks. No problems whatsoever. When Dave and his crew installed the windows over the 2 days I was very impressed with how little chaos there was. In fact, it was like they were not here at times. They were very efficient, clean and conscientious and pleasant to be around. I still can't believe they replaced every window, thirteen in all, which included a sliding patio door and a huge window in our great-room, in just two days. I would highly recommend NuView if you are working with a budget and want the comfort of a good guarantee on the product and the installation. I read somewhere that if installation is not guaranteed that you should look elsewhere. I found that very interesting after our first in-home demo from a big nationwide company who promise you all kind of bells and whistles and NASA-like technology, who charge a small fortune, but DO NOT guarantee their installation. We liked the transparency of NUView (no pun intended) and are very happy with our purchase and experience.

I searched for a door installer on Angie's List and Nu View appeared to be the top rated provider. I called them the next day and made an appointment for an estimate. Dave, the company owner, came out the following day and showed us a number of options that met our needs and provided an estimate. Because of their consistent high feedback scores and quality products we chose Nu View for the project. Dave ordered the materials and called us when they arrived to schedule the install. He arrived on time and completed the install in a timely manner. Dave's workmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. All of the locks operate smoothly and securely and the door is of very high quality. We are totally satisfied with the project and will definitely use Nu View for all future door and window needs.

Excellent. We had condensation in some windows due to broken seals. Dave gave us a written estimate, with warranty and was very professional. On the day of install he himself worked to change all the windows. In a couple of windows the plastic rollers and spring cracked while changing the glass, which were replaced. The next day we discovered that one of the glass had developed a small stress crack overnight. Dave ordered the replacement and had it changed promptly. All windows look and work great now.

Dave is the consummate professional and business owner. He arrived promptly and gave us a bid to replace all windows in our downstairs. This was no easy job as we have 6 floor to ceiling windows downstairs along with the remaining 9 standard sliding windows. He showed me how the windows were constructed, explained the technology, warranties and answered all questions. We gave the business to Dave because of his integrity, he is the business owner, he is on the job doing the work and I knew that I could trust his workmanship and his ethics. He was professional, responsive and paid attention to detail. When I asked him about splitting the job up into two jobs to spread the cost out over time, he said we could do it however it suited our budget. He came when he said he would and did the job in one day with the help of one of his employees. They did a beautiful job, cleaned up after themselves, even vacuumed. When the job was complete he gave me a printed invoice along with the waiver. We are to do the second half in April/May. The day that he was scheduled to come it was a very cold, bitter day but he said they would be able to do the work. He was on the job at 8:30 and the job completed by 5:00 p.m. the same day. Also, they got the measurements right the first time and there was no delay in scheduling. In fact the windows came in early. I highly recommend Dave and his company. If you are doing replacement windows, do yourself a favor and call Dave Manser and get a bid. You will not be sorry

The Nu-View team was extremely professional from the start. They promptly responded for our request for a bid and with in a couple of days came out to our house to talk us through the options. They were honest in explaining the differences between the different levels of windows and what they thought would work for our particular house. They kept us informed about the status of our windows being built, so we could easily schedule the installation date. The team was polite, worked quickly and cleaned up everything so it was like they weren't even here. They hauled away all of our old windows and the mess that came along with removing them. They estimated it would take a day and a half to replace all our windows. They watched the weather and knew a storm was coming the evening of the first day, so the owner and another guy stayed behind to finish everything before the storm rolled in. Amazing company - highly recommend them!

Dave was awesome. He explained why he believed the new window leaked. It had been installed by a different contractor on the outside of my brick home, basically held on by a few screws and caulk, which failed. He told me how he would do it correctly. If he just re-caulked it I would have to continually worry every spring it would leak because it was sticking outside of the profile of the house and water would run down and sit on top of the window. He recessed it inside the window hole and covered the lintel. He cleaned up his work space and gave me a typed bill and lien waiver when he was finished. Because I am working thru an insurance company he agreed to take pictures along the way and describe what the problem was. He did so which I know took a little extra time. He was polite, honest and obviously knew what he was doing, and I will definitely use him when it's time to change out my doors.

I was able to call and get a quote right away. They were able to come out two days later on a Saturday morning which was great! I did not have to take off work. And the work was done with no mess or clean-up!

The service was good. He showed up on time. He cleaned up inside and out. I would tell a friend that i would recommend Nu View to replace any doors or windows. They do good work.

Dave at Nu-View measured all the windows, removed a window to make a template and put the window back in until the new ones were made. It only took one week for the windows to be made and installed. I am very happy with the outcome, windows look great, fit perfectly, are tinted and look better than the original windows. I have six more windows that Nu-View is going to replace for me. This room is a prefab sunroom and it has taken a long time to find someone that could help me. Thanks to Dave at Nu-View and to Angie's List for making this possible. This is the second time I have used the services of Dave Manser and NuView windows. Dave has installed a total of 24 new windows in my home and my wife and I have nothing but praise for the quality of product and work provided by Dave and his staff. We were most impressed with the fact that Dave, the owner of the NuView company, was on the job with his staff for the entire installation of all my windows I would not hesitate to recommend NuView to any of my family or friends.

I chose them for their work based on their BBB and Angie’s List ratings. Their prices were competitive to others. They completed the work in one day and cleanup was great! My experience with them was good. I am planning on having them do more work next spring as well.

Fantastic! Great workmanship, my house was cleaner after than before, very friendly, all was done with great attention to detail. Dave worked on a "tricky door install" until it was right; most would have given up. Our house was built in 1942..nothing is square and lots of settling. I couldn't be happier and I would recommend him to anyone looking for replacement windows. Best price, best quality, best work!!!

Dave was a pleasure to work with. His bid was not the lowest, but was not very far off. All the other reviews on here were spot on. He does a great job from bidding process to after the job is complete. We decided to use his company over the other more generic companies because we felt we would get a more personal, caring touch to this huge project. Price was only slightly more than the main competitor, and we felt we would get more bang for our money going with Nu-View. So we let Dave know we wanted to go with him and he came out right away to get things rolling with the contract. When the windows came in, he gave us a call and set up a time to come out the next week. We were in no hurry and he completed the install with assistants in a few days. Everything was as we had discussed and looked and felt (no breezes) great! He truly does a great job, everything he promises. I'll use him again next time I have window issues.

Service was excellent. Very professional, all trash removed. Windows look great; and just in time since the first freeze of the season hits tonight (Halloween).

Dave (Owner) was on-site for both the estimate and the installation process. Quick and easy bid process with window samples we could see. Took about 5 weeks from contract signing until he called to schedule installation. Install took 2 days and Dave came back on Saturday to complete the remaining work. Windows and doors look and operate great. House cleaned up and all debris hauled away. Dave and his crew were extremely professional and it was easy to work with him. He did want to charge a 3% fee for use of credit cards so be prepared to write a check if you don't want to pay the fee.
