Description of Work: I need to have many of my windows repaired (rebalanced, I think is the term). The gentleman I spoke with told me do that type of repair BUT he, professionally, gave me the names of companies that did. I always appreciate individuals who will help the customer find what is needed. I will definitely keep Nu-View in mind when I need replacement windows. Thanks for the help, Nu-View.

Description of Work: We hired Nu-view to do our 6 ugly Windows. They showed up on time. Cleaned up, they were done in 5 hours. I recommend them to everyone. The quote Dave gave us was below anyone else in the area. What we liked most was that the owner is on every job and knows what he's doing. The other 2 men were also very nice and knew what they were doing. It was very nice to do business with them. Our windows look so nice now we don't want to cover them up with blinds. As a matter of fact we only put blinds back up in one room. We just put up curtains in the other rooms. We love our new windows they look great and help to keep our house much warmer than it was before we got them.

Description of Work: We needed some fast work done on a property that we were closing on. Dave went to the property, performed all the work in a jiffy and we were able to have a successful closing. He was fast, extremely professional and did a complete job without jamming us up. (A different contractor bid close to three times as much and missed a couple of items). We recommend NuView without question.

Description of Work: This was the first contractor we hired using Angie's List and we are so happy we found Nu-View. We had an unhappy experience with another window contractor and had to ask for our money back after waiting for 3 months for the work to begin. Nu-View was excellent from the first meeting where everything was explained in detail to the excellent workmanship during installation. We had 4 windows and 1 steel door installed. The products are all great and we are more than pleased.

Description of Work: Nu-view replaced 13 windows. They were fantastic during the entire process. They were punctual, work completed as promised, at the time they promised, very tidy, no high pressure sales pitch. They worked on my house as if it were their house. The company owner completed the installation. I highly recommend Nu-View.

+ -1 moreWe bought a house in October of 2004 that had single pain glass and no storm windows. We went to the Home show at the American Center and met several contractors there who came and gave us bids. We even won a drawing for dollars toward the purchase of new windows from another company. We received three bids for the replacement of the windows. Our windows are enormous and not the standard size. The company we won the money from could not provide energy efficiency information regarding their product, which seemed quite strange to me. She even called the company direct and they could not answer our questions. We decided to go with Dave because he came to our home and told us about his product and did not berate other products or installers. He offered us the slider type of window. The windows he carried were of high quality and though more expensive we decided to go with him. Our experience was beyond expectations! He arrived on time, but discovered they had shipped the wrong ones. The company had stopped making what we had ordered. But no problem he worked with us to get something we would be happy to own. He made it right and returned in few days with the correct windows. He cleaned up the mess and you would never know he had been there. He even washed the windows which no other company did. The caulking job is the finest I have ever seen. I wish he did not only sell windows, siding and gutters as I would happily use him for any home improvement project of any scope I had.

+ 0 moreThree years ago he installed our windows upstairs and did such a good job that I would not even think about hiring anyone else. Once again he came, did the installation without any surprises, cleaned up and I could not be happier! He had to work around old paneling and if this was a problem you would never have known it. I liked that he helped us with suggestions and was honest about the best type of door for our purpose to install.
Description of Work: Provided and installed 6 Amerimax replacement windows for the basement and installed a Precision Steel Entry door. This included clean-up and removal of all job related debris.

+ -1 moreMr. Manser was very nice and very professional. He was very understanding and patient when a roofing estimator arrived at the same time, my fault, I over booked appointments. Mr. Manser took measurements, while he waited for me to go over things with the roofer. He then explained the features of the windows. He showed me a sample of the window I wanted. His presentation was clear and to the point, unlike some we had heard! We chose not to go with Nuview because we felt the price was a little high compared to other bids we received.
Description of Work: The bid was for five replacement windows, two of those with grids.
