Nu-View Replacement Windows & Doors

Dave was excellent to work with, very professional window installation.

It is hard find a vendor that repairs vinyl windows in the yellow pages if it does not involved the glass. I needed repair to both the glass part of the window and the working mechanism. Went to Angie's List to find a vendor. Nu-View had lots of good reviews, I called Dave answered the phone told me he could help me -----and he did. Nice guy ---good work. I am pleased.

I am tardy in writing this review but I had to let everyone know of my positive experience with Nu-View Windows and Doors. I called Dave at Nu-View to help me correct a problem with my storm door caused by another company on Angie's List. He came to my house, gave me an estimate on a new door and while he was there I also ordered new hardware for the exterior door. The door and hardware came when promised and Dave proceeded to install both. Turned out the door hardware was too large and kept hitting the storm door glass. Dave took most of the afternoon moving the outside door till he got a good fit and did not charge me for his extra time and effort. Then in two separate orders I had him replace all of the hardware on my remaining interior and exterior doors on the main level. Dave was always punctual and took great pains to make sure he cleaned up any mess that was made. That is more than I can say for most of the workmen I have had in my home. I would recommend Nu-View to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again.

I had three estimates for replacement of all of the windows in my house, a total of 24 windows. I could not determine any significant difference in the quality or features of the windows so Nu-View got the job based on price and Angie's list reviews. Nu-View's price was significantly better than the other two bids, which happened to be about the same. The installation went as well as could be expected. If not for the new windows, you could not tell anyone had been to the house. I could not be more pleased with Nu-View.

Dave showed up on time to inspect the property and make an estimate for the work. I got three bids and Dave's was almost identical to the other low bid. But Dave was extremely professional and said he would personally be on the installation. So I decided to go with him (I don't always just take the lowest bidder...I've learned that the hard way). Later he called to say the windows were ready and told me when he'd like to start. He said he thought he might get in done in two days (Thursday and Friday) but if they didn't finish he'd personally complete the job on Saturday. They showed up on Thursday and completed two of the apartments. On Friday they did the other two with a little trim work on the outside still to be done. Dave returned on Saturday as promised and finished everything. The weather was quite cold during this time but that didn't hold them back. I also always have a concern with contractors being respectful of my tenants space and these guys were great. They were in and out quickly...even pushed furniture back against the windows when they were done...and left absolutely no mess whatsoever! They would be my choice if I need more windows in the future.

We got three bids on windows. NuView was the lowest bid. We met with Dave Manser and he gave us the lowest bid. His price was lower,even with the doors and shutters added, than the other two companies with just windows. Dave explained everything to our satisfaction. He was also very helpful when we were trying to decide which entry door would be best for us. We never felt any pressure to buy anything. When the job started, he was always on site and on time. The job was completed in one day, he did come back the next day to do the trim work for the entry door. The workers were very professional and courteous. Dave and his partner showed up just after 11:00 on December 7 to install my new door. They first had to remove the two old french doors and all of the molding around the door. They were both very thorough about cleaning up everything that they took off. The frame with the decorative glass came all in one big piece. They had to get the frame and glass to fit perfectly in the doorway. Dave worked inside and his partner worked outside. After they got the frame fitted and nailed in place, then they put the door on. They had to put the framing and weather stripping around the door. It took about three hours to get the door installed. Dave painted all of the nail tops with the color of the door so that you cannot see the heads of nails in the door. He gave me a small amount of paint to fix any scratches that might occur to the door. We love our new door. It changes the whole appearance of our doorway. The glass around the door lets in light and lightens up the whole area around the door. We are very happy with the door. Our experience with Nu-View was a very positive one. We plan to order windows in the spring.

I called a few different companies to get bids and become informed of my options. NuView was priced similarly to the other companies' quotes, but I liked that Dave (the owner) was very involved and would be there for the actual install. Not a pushy salesman, which was also very nice. They were easy to work with, very responsive to my phone calls and questions. The day of the install, they showed up on time, worked hard and finished on time. Our new windows look fantastic!! Overall we were very happy and will definitely use them again.

Dave met with us to review replacing our existing old, wood windows with vinyl windows and also replacing the exterior doors. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided a very detailed quote. Their prices were competive but we decided to go with a wood replacement window and therefore, did not use their company. If we had decided to use vinyl replacement windows, we would have chosen to work with Dave.

We got bids from two other highly rated contractors but went with with Nu-View because of the slightly more ompetitive price and because Dave Manser, the owner, was such a straightforward, responsive guy. We felt he would deliver great service and a great product, and he did. They were prompt and incredibly neat: you wouldn't have even known they had been there other than the beautiful new windows. They even hung our curtains back up. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

What a pleasurable experience! I not only am very pleased with the windows themselves, but the entire process was professional from start to finish. Most notably, I appreciated no hard-selling or up-selling; typed estimates and answers to questions; installation that allowed me to continue working in my home office without interruption; and again, the finished product. Every window in my home was replaced in one day. I inadvertently over paid and was contacted the ensuing day, with a refund check following that week. I also obtained a bid on replacing french doors, and while owner Dave Manser was happy to supply the bid, he was up-front and mentioned that I could probably obtain good lower cost quality doors through another supplier. Honest - Professional - and Excellent Customer Service. I whole-heartedly would recommend Nu-View and owner Dave Manser.

Found Nu-View through Angie?s List. Nu-View owner, Dave Manser, personally takes all calls and answered his cell phone every time I called. Dave was very easy to work and took time to answer all of our questions. I only received one other quote, and Nu-View was in-line with that. We had two special projects in addition to the regular windows, a custom window and a door, that Dave handled no problem. The windows and door look great and the service provided by Nu-View was outstanding. Nu-View is an easy recommendation to make.

We received a detailed bid from Nu View and, based on the reviews on Angies List, decided to have them do our replacement window. They did an outstanding job! The new windows look so much better, and the extra insulation will be great as the temperatures drop. We are looking forward to having more windows replaced by Nu View.

After reading reviews and having several companies give me an estimate I selected Nu View to do the work for a few reasons. First, they were just as or more affordable than any other company and equal quality. Second, Dave not only gave me the estimate, but he did the installing. I liked that idea. Third, the windows are guaranteed for life through Nu View. Last, Dave was very professional, always answered my phone calls or got back with me promptly and took the time to answer all of my questions both in person and over the phone. He also replaced a small piece of siding and rescreened a small laundry room window at no extra charge. He was very quick in the process, but took the time to make sure everything looked good both inside and out. He cleaned up everything after he was done. The windows look great and work great too. I originally had 4 windows installed and liked them so much i went ahead and got the other 4 replaced that I was gonna wait to do. Dave did a great job and I will go with Nu View in the future if I ever need a window replaced.

The entire experience was great. Dave (the owner) came out to give the estimate and brought catalogs to help us select the door and hardware that we wanted. It was a few weeks before he could come out for installation simply but he had to custom order our door & transom, so it made sense. It was easy to schedule a time, and he came with another worker to install, and they were on time and were professional through the whole experience. It took a little longer than expected simply because our house is old so nothing is square or plumb, but he kept me updated on status, and they stayed until it was done right, and didn't charge any extra for the additional time needed. He made sure I knew how to work it and the optional configurations & adjustments I could tweak. They didn't leave any mess to clean up and offered to take my screens wherever I wanted them (we got a door that would swap out glass for screen). They had to work in the rain, but never complained about it at all. Just put up a tarp and kept working. Both Dave and the other worker were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that Dave called a week or two later to make sure everything was still ok with it. Have already recommended them to a neighbor who plans to use them for a door installation as well. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any door or window needs in the future! A+ work & service.

They did a great job from estimation to completion. Dave came to our home twice to answer questions and make sure we had what we wanted before he ordered the doors. The doors arrived sooner than estimated, and were installed within a few days. After they left, there was nothing for us to do--everthing was already done. The trim was replace, the old doors were hauled away, and everything was cleaned up.

Excellent. Called Nu-View Windows after reading the reviews on Angie's List, and Davepromptly returned my call. We set up a meeting to discuss what we were looking for. Dave brought over samples of the windows, took measurments, and gave us an estimate. My husband and I decided we liked Dave and his personal approach to his work, that we called him after about a week to put in the order. Dave called us after the windows came in and set-up a date for installation. Dave personally came and did the work himself along with another installer. They were on time, professional, friendly and went right to work. My husband and I were not able to be there the entire time, so when we returned home, everything had been cleaned up and our windows looked beautiful!! We couldn't believe how great the work was (& the cleanup), and were quite impressed with the excellent caulking job, the windows look so great!! We recommend Nu-View to anyone not wanting to hassle with a company that isn't interested in what you want, but what they think you need!! Dave listened, answered questions, and got us what we wanted!! In fact, we will be using Nu-View and Dave again in the New Year!

Dave replaces four windows. He personally completed the work with one of his employees and did a great job. Very professional, very careful, and cleaned up nicely. Windows look great. We'll use them again.

The installation went great. The window is very nice looking, is easy to open, and has handled some nasty rain/wind storms. We are planning to call NuView to do the other 3 windows plus a couple more.

Dave Manser was very professional & we actually had him out to make several window replacements on more than one occasion in July & August. The price was not the least expensive, but I feel we got what we paid for. He showed up on time, and called if he was running late. He promptly submitted the quotes for work proposed. the work was quickly performed & he cleaned up once he was finished. We had numerous business's out for work on our recently purchased home. Some have been terrible, but some like Nu View were fantastic. A very pleasant and satisfying experience overall. I highly recommend this company.

We could not be happier with both our windows and our experience working with Dave Masner and NuView. I can't believe how much new windows updated the look of our home. They're great quality windows, and the price was very competitive. Dave is the man! From start to finish everything was top-notch. After sitting through two rather aggressive sales pitches from other companies, I appreciated his honest and low-pressure approach. He was on-site the whole day and was extremely professional. I highly recommend NuView windows.

We were both confused and frustrated after listening to sales pitches (some high pressure), and getting "all over the map" estimates from four other companies. We are thrilled to report that our experience with Nu-View Windows and Doors was EXCELLENT! We dealt with the owner, Dave Manser, from start to finish. From the first time I called, I was impressed that he answers his own phone. We met a couple days later, and he was very professional with his presentation of the product we were interested in. It was very informative, no pressure at all, and he answered all of our questions. The windows came in when he said they would, and he, along with Dan, installed them, and they are beautiful!. Dave was on site the whole time, and there was something very reassuring about that. The work was completed in 2 days. They worked quietly, and moved at a good pace from room to room, they didn't even take breaks. If needed, they moved furniture out of the way, and also removed drapes or blinds that I hadn't, without saying a word. They cleaned up every area that they worked in, and even reinstalled our awnings outside that had been removed for painting. I had been worried that our 2 large dogs would be in the way, but they were wonderful with them. Both Dave and Dan were very easy to be around, and it was obvious that they took great pride in their work. I'm so glad that I checked Angies List and the BBB before making this big investment. We are thrilled with our new windows, and know that we made the right decision in choosing to go with a Small Business Owner in St.Louis.

Nu View was 1 of three companies I had received estimates from. While all 3 were close in price, it was clear to me that Nu View's windows were higher quality. Took approximately 3 weeks to receive the windows, then another 2 days for the complete installation. 17 mission style windows and 2 sliding glass doors were installed. Overall great experience.
