Nu-View Replacement Windows & Doors

They did a great job, and were in and out of here in one morning....Left everything clean and very helpful.

Dave is very professional and nice. He owns the company; but he still works on the window installation with other workers.

Dave, the owner, arrived on time to give us a bid on the work. He was polite, clean, and very professional. We received an estimate on the spot, after he measured the windows and we selected the desired windows. Dave did not try to sell us a complete replacement for the kitchen window, which could be repaired by just replacing one of the panes. He explained that it would take approximately 4 weeks for the windows to come in; timing was about accurate. Dave came with two of his men to perform the work at the scheduled time. We are very happy with the job and would use this company again, if we have a need.

Dave came to our house and went over the options. He never pressured us or tried to talk us into something more expensive. As a matter of fact he went over several options that reduced our cost. He also gave us tips on how to get several other windows to work better that we weren't replacing. We gave it some thought, then had him come back to measure and write up the contract. He estimated it would be about a month before delivery and it was right within that time frame. He called to set up the installation. They were a little later than they anticipated, but stayed till the job was finished. Dave and one other guy installed the door and 2 windows. They were very respectful and cleaned up nicely when they were finished. They did a great job caulking and replacing the trim and making everything look nice. I would definitely recommend NuView and will definitely use them in the future for additional window needs.

After some initial miscommunication, Dave from Nu view came to our house to provide a quote for a front door. He was punctual, polite, very informative, and apologized for any role he played in the prior miscommunication. In the days following the consultation, he followed up with an e-mail and phone call and answered all of our questions.

Dave met with us on a Saturday and provided a quote the same day. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We signed the contract the same day because we didn't feel a need to get a second bid after meeting with Dave. On the day of the install, Dave and a coworker arrived on time, covered the floors to prevent them from getting dirty, installed all the doors in the amount of time he told us, and cleaned everything up really nicely. The doors are definitely made from high quality material and they look fantastic. We are extremely happy with our new doors and would highly recommend Nu View.

Dave came out at around 5:00 p.m., as promised. He took a look at the problem and saw what was wrong right away (a "balancer" - I think it's called- detached from one side of the window and was jammed at the bottom of the frame). He was able to free the part and re-attach it to the window. Dave also gave me some tips on how to best take care of our older windows. When I asked how much I owed him for the job he refused payment for "such a simple fix" and simply asked me to keep him in mind for any future window and door needs (which I certainly will). I found NU-VIEW here on Angie's List and just wanted to pass my experience along. They are now my contractor of choice and will recommend them to family and friends.

Dave was great to work with! We had an estimate from another company but Nu View's windows were higher quality. You can tell by looking at the finished product that the work was done with care. The new windows look great! We were very happy with the finished product.

Super nice, helpful and professional. Reasonable price but a relative is now going to do the work for us as a swap for my husband's computer services. No price would have beat that.

Nu-View was one of several companies we contacted to get a bid for the job. Dave Manser, who is the owner of Nu-View, came to give the bid. The window product he showed us was similar to the other companies that we had already met. The price was comparable as well. So our decision to go with Nu-View was decided based on our meeting with Dave. He assured us that he would be installing the windows with his crew (which was only one other person) . He explained exactly what he would be performing and what to expect from him. The windows were ordered and took several weeks to come in. Dave called and we set a date for installation. He told us it would take approximately 3 days to complete the job, which it did. What impressed us so much with the whole process was how much pride Dave took in doing the job well. 3 of the 6 windows were trimmed with casing to match the rest of our trim work. The other 3 windows were finished with drywall return. After each day they cleaned both inside and outside. The overall experience couldn't have gone any better.

Dave (the owner) was very professional and honest. For example, we inquired about a garden window in our kitchen and he suggested not doing one due to the window's size. Other bids/opinions we received simply gave us a price on a garden window. I appreciated his honesty and felt like he wasn't trying to sell us more than we needed. The installation went quickly and smoothly.

We met with Dave to look at the window and talk about an estimate about 6 months before we decided to move forward with the project (we elected not to do the project during the winter). He took measurements at that time and showed us the sample of the window. When we were ready to get started, Dave came back to re-measure and explained that he would place the window order and then call us in 4-6 weeks when the window arrived to set up an installation date. 4 weeks after the order was placed, Dave called and set up an appointment to do the installation the following week. Dave and one other person did the removal of the old window and A/C unit and installed the new window. The clean up was thorough. We are very happy with the new window and Dave took the time to go over the operation of the window so that I knew exactly how to operate and clean it. The price was competitive with other providers we received estimates from. I really appreciated Dave's offer to haul away the large A/C unit at no extra charge. He declined the tip I offered him for that extra work.

The windows look great from the inside and the outside. Dave explained how to open and clean the windows. I am very happy with the windows and plan to have Dave replace my other four windows in the fall.

We thought our Screen door lock was broken and would require repair or replacement. We had been unable to unclock the door for several days and had to go around the house to get to the back yard. I searched Angie's list and settled on Nu-View because it was rated highly by others and it was closest to me (at least of all the outfits that had A ratings). I spoke with Dave Manser, the owner. He was very courteous and professional and was willing to accomodate me the same afternoon. It was an easy fix, and he demonstrated to my wife how to properly operate the door. I entered zero in the how much did you spend column, because I dont have a bill yet. However, I tend to procrastinate when it comes to writing reviews, and I was impressed with this outfit, so I am completing one post haste. I recommend this company.

They did a great job. Came in and took measurements and ordered what we needed. They called right away when it came in and installed them within the next business day. They cleaned everything up once finished and I now have beautiful windows!

I received bids from about 8 different companies. Dave with Nu-View was very professional; he was on time and he was prepared. It surprised me how many other companies arrived to a bid without sample product or literature available. In addition, Nu-View's bid was very competitive and their product is comparable or better quality than the product of the other companies. Nu-View completed the job in just 1 day while I was at work. A friend of mine supervised their work and said that they were professional, efficient and very tidy while in my house. When I got home from work, the job was complete and my house looked as though nobody had been there. The windows look fantastic, they funtion flawlessly, and they have reduced the temperature fluctionation and drafts in my house dramatically. I would highly recommend Nu-View to anybody that needs window replacement.

This was the last window to be replaced in our 1950's home. We had several replaced by a competitor 10 years ago and my husband bought a couple from a hardware chain a few years ago, doing the installation himself. We wished we had known about Nu-View 10 years ago! Since it was the last window, we thought we would have the previous company do the work. I went by their showroom and told them what I needed. A gentleman gave me a card with an estimate and told me to have my husband call him. When contacted, he acted like it was too inconvenient for him to come out and measure the window. After reading the reviews for Nu-View, my husband called Dave. He came over to give the bid the next week. Nu-View's price was 25% cheaper than the previous company we used and the quality of the window was comparable. We had also gotten an estimate from two of the major chain stores. Their prices were the same as Nu- View but their windows were of much lower quality and my husband would have had to install them. The deposit was a lot less than expected and less than what the previous company required. The windows were installed within 4 weeks. The owner and his staff are very professional. The installation took less than 2 hours. They did an excellent job at protecting the existing wood framing. . They had to remove some trim and then replace it after the window was in. It was hard to tell where the woodwork had been disturbed. The finish job was much nicer than the other company we used. They were also very careful to protect our hardwood floors. The manufacturer had sent out the wrong sized screens but as promised, Dave brought out the appropriate ones within 2 days. We were also very pleased that the "lien waiver" was given to us the day of installation when we paid them. The previous company mailed it. The only regret we have is that we don't have more windows to replace! So we will be referring Nu-View to any and everyone we know.

Dave and his team were great. We actually received bids from four different companies, and while Nu-View wasn't the least expensive, we felt they offered the best value for the product, and windows that best matched most of the newer windows in our home. Dave came out about a month ago to give us a bid. I wasn't home at the time and he worked with my wife to give her all of the options and recommendations that best suited our needs. He didn't rush her into signing anything and gave us plenty of time to discuss. After I saw the materials he left and the details provided, we called him the next day. Nu-View was the last bid we received, and we decided we didn't need to do any further research. Dave ordered the windows we selected and told us it would be 3-4 weeks before they would be ready and he'd call us to schedule the install. Almost exactly month later, he did exactly that, and last Friday we had the two windows installed. Dave and his crew showed up right on time at 9:00 a.m. and got to work. The were quick and quiet, and I was able to take a few conference calls in the basement with no interruption. After about 90 minutes, Dave asked me to take a look at the final product, and I couldn't have been more happy. First off, the new windows really look good, and brightened up the two bedrooms they were installed in. Secondly, inside and out, were it not for the fact that new windows were there in place of the ugly old windows, you'd never know Dave and his crew were there. The workspace was cleaner when they left than it was when they arrived. While I can't yet speak to the durability of the windows, the quality of the install and the aesthetics are exactly what we were looking for, and we'll be looking to Nu-View for other projects in the future.

Very smooth installation - was complete in two days. Our house is greatly improved.

The installers were very efficient and professional. They completed the inside portion of the job in less than 3-hours and my place was cleaner than when they started. The product quality is most impressive. I am very close to a major interstate and the triple paned windows have eliminated all the loud highway noises. I am completely satisfied with the product and the professionalism from Nu-View.

Dave called on Monday and said they would be here between 1 and 2 to install the windows. They ended up a couple of minutes early which was not a bad thing. Friendly and courteous. They laid down drop cloths and when finished vacuumed the carpet. I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years both in my jobs and for my house. Nu-View is one of the best as far as communication, being punctual, courteous, friendly, and cleaning up when done. If it wasn't for the fact that I am having a new roof installed in a couple of weeks, I would have Nu-View replace five basement windows now. I will, however, have them replace them either later this year or early next year. I have no hesitation in recommending Nu-View to anyone. You won't go wrong with this company.

Dave came out almost immediately to give an estimate of the cost to replace window panes. Dave is very professionaly, straight forward and listened carefully to my concerns. After the estimate was provided, and I gave the go ahead, Dave came out again to measure the windows again (in detail). Other companies I asked to come out did not want to give me a FREE estimate. Dave came out with the window panes and replaced them without any issue. The windows look great and are not foggy or broken anymore. Dave won my business because he did everything possible to make it as easy as possible for me.

They did it in a very professional manner all the way from start to finish. He does not try and over sell me. They didn't leave one single scrap or debris when they were done. I don't have any single thing to tell bad about them. I would use them again.
