Nu-View Replacement Windows & Doors

Since house was just listed for sale we called Dave who had replaced our windows for our daughter. He called and he came out immediately and gave them a quote, ordered windows and completed work within a week.

I contacted Nu-View based on the number of excellent reviews on Angie's List and Dave & crew fully lived up to my expectations. The initial phone call was returned promptly and Dave set up an appointment with me to visit my house and go over the work I wanted to have completed. He was very professional, answered all of my questions, and discussed all of the different options available to me. I really appreciate it when I can have a good discussion about what options are available without being put into a position where I feel pressured to buy something I don't really want. Dave listened attentively, explained the different types of doors and windows available based on what I asked for and showed me several samples. He made all of the necessary measurements and after I selected the window and doors that I wanted he provided an estimate which was right about what I had expected it to be, based on the quality of the materials. The doors and window are custom-made, so he told me it could take around five weeks. Dave called me back when the doors and window arrived (which was a couple of weeks sooner than I had expected) and even offered to install everything the next day. I wasn't able to get off work right away, so I scheduled the installation for the following week. Dave and his staff arrived right when he said they would. He explained the work they were doing throughout the day and everyone was very professional and courteous. The work was completed in about six hours and his staff cleaned everything up perfectly. Dave walked me through the work that was done and explained the features of the doors and window that were installed. He provided me with the paperwork I needed for the energy tax credit and answered all of my questions. I also wanted to mention that I purchased a higher-end patio door that has blinds built into the glass itself. I have a dog and four kids and I no longer have to worry about them pulling on the curtains constantly. I love the new patio door. It was well worth the extra cost. Overall I was very pleased with the work performed and will gladly use Nu-View in the future when it comes time to replace the rest of my windows.

They were very timely from the moment we first contacted them for an in-home estimate to the moment they swept and vacuumed the last remaining debris from the floor. Dave always responded quickly to each phone call. He and his crew showed up at the exact time we had scheduled and the install lasted almost exactly how long he had anticipated. Everyone was professional, yet kind and compassionate to the fact that we had two little dogs running around them the entire time they worked. The end result was exactly what we had hoped for and we are very pleased to be writing this review.

Made lowest bid of three taken. Measured and ordered new windows. Two weeks later after receiving new windows, Dave called and made appointment for the next morning. Arrived with a helper as scheduled and replaced windows exactly per contract. Cleaned everything inside and out before leaving about 2 hours later. A mere A is beneath what this team truly earned grade-wise. I'd have no problem recommending them to anyone in the market for replacement windows or using their services in the future if that need should arise.

Awesome! Had 4 windows replaced in atrium window including 2 quarter rounds, which had to be ordered. They arrived when promised and installed promptly.Dave did the work himself. Very professional. Windows are great.

Great, was in when he said and its beautiful. They put it in as they said. They were extremly nice and polilte and worked in the heat to get the door in. I would use them again.

We couldn't have asked for better service or a finer product. Dave, the owner worked right along side his employees. They were professional, quick, stayed on the job until completed, exceptional cleanup and of all 4 estimates for this job, Dave came in lower with a better product than the other companies. One thing for certain, we will use Dave Manser of Nu-View for any and all future door or window needs. We highly recommend giving Dave the opportunity to visit with you if you are in the market for doors and windows. They went above and beyond by re caulking an area in a window that was a mess. Dave came right on time, gave a reasonable estimate that day, and then returned promptly week later to install my windows. They look great. I would recommend this company to others.

David came to our house and met with us about replacement windows and our new window. We asked if he could include in his estimate the cost for several other windows so we could make an informed decision about what windows we wanted replaced. He agreed to meet with me and my wife on Saturday to fit into our schedule. He was very friendly and explained the windows Nu View installs and all of their features. On the day of the installation my wife was present for the installation and said that the gentleman were very friendly and professional. The job stayed on schedule and only took Nu View half of the day Friday to complete the work. Dave then showed up the next day to finish some drywall work (the joint compound needed to dry overnight). The windows look great and we have no complaints. Dave even showed us what paperwork we needed to apply for tax-credits for our windows. If I ever need to replace another window I would definitely use Nu View or recommend them to friends and family.

Dave Manser called back promptly after I contacted NuView through the internet, discussed what I needed, and set up an appointment to show me options. He was prompt for that meeting, provided complete information including the price of the replacement door I wanted, and did not pressure me for a sale. It took about 4-5 weeks to get the new door made and in stock. He and his assistants installed the door in about 3 hours. The work area was spotless when they were done.

Everything went extremely well. I asked that the job start at a certain time and they showed up exactly at that time. There's not a mark on any wall that I can see and they had to work around a baby grand piano that was wedged into a corner by one of these windows too. The windows are super easy to operate and both sashes tilt in for easy cleaning, which I love. From a sales and installation perspective, I would most definitely recommend NuView and I think I'm going to love the windows too! I think they actually left my home cleaner than they found it!

We are very pleased with our entire experience with Dave Manser and Nu-View. The sales presentation was very straight forward and there were no high-pressure sales tactics. A realistic schedule for installation was set and everything was done on time. The gutters were installed first. Our old gutters were a sagging mess and a constant source of worry. After carefully going over all our gutter problems with Dave, we were thrilled with the new gutters. Within two days of installation of the new gutters, we had an extremely heavy rain and the new gutters passed with flying colors! What a relief. A few weeks later, the new windows were installed. 7 windows were installed. I was surprised and please how quickly Dave and his assistant were able to complete the job. I had moved furniture out of their way and was planning on cleaning up after they left, but they did all the clean-up themselves. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again when we replace our remaining 12 windows sometime in the coming year.

We had a window in our bathroom that was just a standard window. We needed an obscured window because it's actually in our bathroom. Our attempts at frosting the window ourselves did not work at all. Not only that, but the window wasn't actually tempered! It was just regular glass! NuView came out on a Sunday about 1 hour after I called. They gave me a quote on the spot and told me it would take a few days to get the glass. They were exactly right on the time frame and we got the new tempered glass installed today. Super happy with NuView!

It was a true pleasure working with Dave. He was extremely helpful and responsive. I initially contacted him for block windows and one window repair. I ended up doing my entire house in new windows based on the trust I had for him.

Dave of Nu-View windows arrived on time as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. The team began immediately and did not stop until all work was complete. Both men were professional, personable and attentive to our questions about the process. Dave took the time to explain how to operate the windows correctly and to tilt in and lift out sashes to clean the windows. The storm door was not available until two days later which was explained to us earlier in the week. As soon as the storm door arrived to their shop, Dave came early Friday morning and installed. Dave and his assistant cleaned up all debris from the inside and outside of our home. Nu-view hauled all old windows and old storm away. The windows are beautiful and the storm door works great. The double pane insulated glass provides sunlight however blocks the heat. It truly works at preventing the sunrays' heat from toasting and roasting the room! It is wonderful! The true test will be a rain storm; a good hard summer rain to see that the windows and storm door can take a downpour! We enjoy the vinyl replacement windows. We give thanks to Dave and his assistant for great workmanship, promptness, and excellent customer satisfaction. Dave has indicated if we need him for anything - to call him. He is ready to please his customers before, during and after the sale of the windows. Thank you!

The whole experience was professional, efficient and courteous. Dave arrived on time as scheduled and proceeded to do an exceptional job. He had to do some on the spot sheet aluminum cutting to make everything fit. My house is over 100 years old so there were some anomalies that he had to account for. It took about 1.5 hours for Dave and his colleague to complete the job. The door was beautifully made. I originally thought I could do it myself but after observing their work, I am glad I hired professionals. Dave called me earlier this month to ask if I was satisfied and offered to correct anything that was not right: very impressive customer service. One other point: I mentioned to Dave that the gutter above the door in the back was overflowing and was leaking into the house behind the old screen door. I don't have a ladder high enough to check and clean it. Dave offered to check it, found some debris and cleaned it out. Once again, he did those small things that add up to outstanding customer service. Although the cost was a bit high for my budget, when I consider all of the above, the value was excellent.

We had a wonderful experience with Dave. He was very professional, polite, and straight-forward. It was easy to schedule an initial appointment with him, and I was so pleased that he brought samples of the actual window with him (n different colors and styles!). His bid was also less expensive than the other we received. On the installation day, he and his associate completed the job very quickly and efficiently. We love our new windows, which are strong, secure, and let in a lot of light to our basement. I smile when I go down there now!

It went very well. The owner, Dave, and a helper put the windows in and only took a few hours. The work was well done and the guys were great to work with. The windows look really nice. If we need any more windows we would certainly use them.

We were in a bind - house on the market, potential buyer wanted all of our windows inspected, adjusted and corrected (if needed). Heard from the buyer on a Friday night (of a holiday weekend) and we needed to respond to the buyer by Monday. We weren't going to simply agree not knowing the cost of adjusting and repairing windows! Dave came out the SAME DAY I contacted him - remember this was a holiday weekend (and a Saturday)! He was prompt, professional and offered solutions. I highly recommend Dave and Nu-View Windows and Doors!

This was a very positive experience. The seal between the glass and the door frame failed, causing the glass to frost over. Dave was prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful. He determined the glass could be replaced rather than order an entire new sliding patio door. The glass was not standard size, so he had to order it. He scheduled the appointment as soon as the glass arrived. We were having company for the holiday weekend and he was able to replace the glass before they arrived. The job was completed professionally and without issues. We are very happy with the new glass and highly recommend this company to others.

A few years ago we had several bids from companies specializing in window replacements. We were so put off by the high pressure sales tactics of the larger companies that we abandoned the process for a long time. Nu-View is the ideal company to deal with: fair, gimmick-free pricing, highly professional staff, quick work. I actually left home as they arrived and returned at 4:00 to find new windows and no evidence that anyone had worked on my house. I especially like that Dave, the sales rep, is actually the lead installer as well. I am more than pleased with this company.
