I went with that option and saved over 300.00. The windows are beautiful and were done in a timely manner

Description of Work: Nu-View installed a storm door for my front door. The quality of the work was great, and I'm very happy with the finished product. Nu-View was very professional each time they came to my house. | |The one area for improvement is punctuality. For each of my appointments (appraisal, initial installation, second installation), Nu-View told me that they would arrive by a certain time, yet on each occasion didn't arrive until much later (on two occasions, it was an hour later, or more). I had to call them to ask whether they were coming, rather than them reaching out to me to let me know their status. | |I would recommend Nu-View's services - they just need to be on time.

Description of Work: The owner of NuView came to our home, listened to our problem (leaking windows on one side of the house) and proposed a solution, installation of three new windows after carefully inspecting the area and trying to figure out why the old ones were leaking. He ordered the windows and contacted us when the windows came in. On the agreed upon date, the owner himself and his co-worker arrived promptly and quickly and efficiently installed the three windows. They cleaned up the mess completely. We have had several storms since then and so far no leakage!! We were very satisfied with our service.

Description of Work: We had 5 windows replaced in our home. Extremely happy with the service & price we received from Dave & his crew. Exceptional quality windows & service. No high pressure sales like we`ve experienced with other companies. Will use again when we update our bathroom. Very highly recommend !!!!

Description of Work: My NuView triple pane picture window (almost 30 years old) had fogged badly, and I had 2 double-hung windows that would no longer stay up. I checked online and found that NuView was again in business (with a new owner, I later learned). Both my problems were displayed on the repairs page, so I called. Dave, the owner, came on 2/6/13 to check and measure the fogged window, and to see how many balancers needed to be replaced in the double-hungs. The seal in the picture window was bad and the window needed to be replaced ($443.65). One double-hung required 4 new balancers, the other, only two ($25 each). Dave ordered the window and called when it arrived. He came the same day (2/13) to install it. It took about half an hour. He forgot the balancers for the other two windows, but came back two days later to install them. Unfortunately, I did not think to try the windows myself while he was there. Since he was taller and stronger than myself, he could close them easily. One window was very hard for me to close. So I called the next day. He came back out a week later, readjusted the balancers and sprayed them with silicone spray - now I can close the window. We werw very pleased with the product and the service, and intend to call him again (when the weather warms up) to rehang the one window ($85), which is no longer square. Dave is knowlegeable and friendly, and it is so nice to have the owner of a company come to actually do the work. I would recommend this company.

Description of Work: We have old vinyl windows that we are not ready to replace. Dave came out to help us get some of them sealed and locked. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He didn't pressure us to buy anything, I will definitely be using NuView again in the future.

Description of Work: Dave was extremely professional at the time of the estimate and during the installation. I called them because of an extremely good word of mouth recommendation. the bid was a little bit higher than another company (that seemed high too, but at that time I was looking at the $1500 tax credit), but the quality of the installation and product was worth it. I had 14 windows replaced and my front entry door and storm door. I had no idea how much a front door was going to cost, and it seemed quite expensive, but both doors seem very well made and the installation was impeccable. I frankly didn't think it would be possible to make it look this good. Dave was very accommodating to my schedule for both the estimates and installation, and I was confident enough in his integrity that I let them install my front doors while I was out of town.

Description of Work: NuView was one of the few places that could manufacture and install relacement storm windows on my circa 1920's house in South City. They look and work great - installation was completed same day! I'm very pleased with the service provided as well.
