The process went smoothly and we are very pleased with the results. One problem arose where we had unexpectedly tight tolerances for an appliance to be installed. The company expertly worked around the problem and the installation is flawless.

This estimate was in the middle of three, but I chose them because they were able to work with the intricacies of the house including a radiator and room that was not perfectly square. The designer was very hands on and worked with us on the layout of each individual tile by laying them out the day before so that we could decide what looked best. One gentleman prepared the surface the first day. The second gentleman laid the tile over the week, then the two owners worked on staining and laying the riser and threshold. The tile was laid perfectly. It was cut so as to run right up to the radiator legs, and the tiles around the edges of the room were cut so that it is virtually unnoticeable that the room is not square. The focal points at the entryway and the passage to the living room have full tiles. The layout of the particular tiles worked beautifully. They are true artisans and very knowledgeable about their craft and working in older homes.
