Landscape lighting by NiteLites of St. Louis, MO not only highlights the features of outdoor living spaces, it also eliminates the dark spots that intruders could use and be unnoticed. Burglars prefer to work in the dark, and not to be seen. Start to finish was very simple, I have had projects around the house before and it wasn't so smooth. I even spilled paint on my kitchen floor and as soon as they found out they were inside to help me. They pretty much took care of it for me. As far as the the job they did, it was perfect. I have no complaints and now we are wondering if we can bring them to the lake to do our Lake House.
Description of Work: They came out to my house and suggested I get a "DEMO". They actually had a kit and they lit my entire house up so it was easier for my husband and I to see what we wanted. Matt was the guy who helped us and he was very easy to talk to and wasn't into the high pressure sales. He was very informative and knew a lot more then another company we had come out. Then 1 week later our lights were in the ground and we have sent 3 people his way since. The guys at NiteLites were very professional and it was a great experience.

The entire experience was awful. I called NiteLites because they installed the system and did a good job of that. However, when I called to make an appointment and inquire about the cost of repairs, I was told someone else would have to call me back. The following day there was a message on my answering machine indicating a service person was on their way. When I got home later there was a note on the door indicating no one was home when the service person came by and I should call back to reschedule (no initial appointment was ever made). The crew was late for the actual scheduled service appointment, but fortunately I was still home. When I asked about the cost, they said it was under warranty so the only thing I would owe was the cost for any replacement bulbs. I later got a bill for $84, which included $75 for labor and materials to repair the line that the service person said was under warranty. I went ahead and paid the entire bill instead of arguing with the company. About 3 months later, I received a duplicate invoice indicating that I hadn't paid and was 61 - 90 days late on the account. According to my bank the check I sent them had been cashed more than a month earlier. When I called to inquire about the repeat billing, the voice mail indicated that it was still business hours, but I couldn't reach a live person and could only leave a message.
Description of Work: We had a power line for our landscape lighting system that had been cut and needed to be repaired. There was also one fixture that wasn't working.

Response from NiteLites of St. Louis Outdoor Lights
Some people don't understand a service call. You pay $50 if we are there for 1 min or 59 min. Its how most people run a business. Our Acct. sent her a bill and she wasn't happy with it but did pay it. She explained to us how it was not explained in detail on her bill. So we sent her a new Invoice with the explanation on it. She then called and complained about how she already paid. we then had to let her know , all that we did was what she asked. We sent her a invoice with explanation. She owed no money. Sorry for the confusion. We can make it much easier then that.
