This whole situation went horrible. These people are very unprofessional. Quoted 580 max and by then end of the second day the wife was requiring a payment of 850 for the job as it stood at that time. They were out two days to prep and didn't arrive until later in the day when they were supposed to have arrived early. The first day they showed up at 12:30, and the second 11:30. On the third day they arrived at 10:30. They decided to start painting as soon as it got darker. However, since it was getting darker it was hard to see and it was getting cold. Since it was dark and we couldn't see what it looked like the painters packed up and left. They stated they would be calling back the next day to see how it looked and to let us know when they would be back to fix it. The next morning when we went out to check on it we were horrified. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! There were runs EVERYWHERE and the paint was so uneven it was two tone. what they were painting which caused them to leave thin areas and runs. We also found out from a professional painter that the trailer shouldn't have even been painted at that time because it was too cold. These issues caused the paint to be horribly thick and run. Also there were chemical runs and dirt runs all over the trailer where the painters didn't properly clean off the trailer before painting. When the wife called us in the morning she asked us how it looked and we told her that it looked bad. To which she stated that she wasn't going to back out of this and that they were going to complete the job. Two days passed and we never heard from her. We called her every hour during the day, and still no answer. Finally she decided to contact on the evening of the second day. She stated pretty much the same thing at this time as before (that they were going to fix this and finish the job). She also stated that they were going to be out Wednesday to work. No call, no show on Wednesday. We continued to call her to try and figure out what is going on during this time. Another three beautiful, warm, sunny days go by and we still have no response from her about what is going on. The last call we made was on a Saturday evening. No answer, like always. However, she sent us some texts basically denying doing anything at all on our trailer. Took this trailer as it was to a professional painter and its going to take at least double and probably more to fix the mess that AR Home Painting did.
Description of Work: This company was to prep (sand, seal, tape, etc) and put two coats of paint on the exterior of our trailer. We were to provide all of the materials and they were to do the work. The said work was to be done at our property.
