They are very incompetent. Please hire anyone else but these guys. Very unprofessional and a 2-hour job turned into an all-day event and they still could not complete the work.

Since I do not know what the going rate is for a lateral line repair we got two quotes. Mr. Rooter gave us a cheaper quote than the other. After speaking with a number of people (friends/family) they tell us we paid too much. Later after work had been started I learned South St. Louis county has a lateral line repair program which would do the repair at no cost to the customer. This program was never mentioned during the time when given quotes by either company. Because the work had already been started and paid for, we could not get re-imbursed through the south county lateral line program from msd. So before you have your lateral line repaired check with the South St. Louis lateral line repair program to see if you can get the repair completed for free.

They really stand behind their work. When they fixed the toilet leak, the effect was that a new dripping leak resulted in the hose out of the toilet due to greater water pressure. But they came right back and fixed that, so it worked out very well. Thanks for the great service and integrity in staying with it until everything was fixed.

I have prior experience with this firm. The plumber arrived on time with a helper. They completed the kitchen faucet changeover and left in less than 30 minutes. My blocking out advance payment for two hours (at a fixed rate per hour) was probably an overestimate on time for this service, but the total price was worth it.

They were clean and neat and got the job done on time.

Service person came on time, was courteous, clear in explaining the problem and his plan for fixing it; he worked quickly and made a very strong effort to clean up after the work was finished. The work was more expensive than anticipated, but the work was excellent.

Service men were rude to my daughter!

Plumbing is just shockingly expensive so I rated that a bit lower. They did work that was previously done half-ass by another firm but did it better and more thoroughly. Unfortunately the work I need is massive so they helped me troubleshoot for now until I can get the work done. I will, however, have them do it. Very professional, prompt, and easy to work with. Highly recommend them!

The guy from Mr. Rooter was very nice, friendly. He really knew the problem we were having and fixed it . The cost for the visit was very reasonable.

Clean professional good workmanship. A little pricey but on short notice, I'm happy.

They sent me a notification with the technician's picture before he arrived. He explained everything he was doing and why. He ended up replacing my garbage disposal on the spot. I'm very pleased with the service

Garrett Korn was my installer from Mr. Rooter. I was informed prior to his arrival that he was on his way and he arrived shortly after 8:00 for an 8 - 10 AM window. He quickly analyzed our plumbing problem, gave us a quote right away (which I agreed to) and then left to get all the parts he needed. He was only gone for a short period of time, did all the work, and was totally completed before 10:00 AM. The quality of the work was very good and now we are up and running again. I would highly recommend Mr. Rooter and selfishly ask for Garrett. He is easy to work with and very competent.

Mr Rooter proved to have quick response, follow-up was good! Scheduling was EZ! The plumber (Devon) provided excellent customer service, technical information, and professional insights! Cost is in range, but little on high side...still: 5 stars for coordination and experience.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!! Our sewer backed up and we called Mr. Rooter. The technician who came out could not remove the blockage. Then he charged us $100 more to snake it from the street. Also not unblocking it. We had suspected a break so we had him run a camera. He found the break, but would not mark it on the floor. This whole fiasco ended up costing $500. THEN because said technician could not unblock the sewer it FLOODED our basement 3 days later. We called them back to get them to come out and re snake it, but they would not because there was a break. We had to call a real plumber out (who could and did remove the blockage). This guy ran a camera and MARKED where the break was. The invoice from Mr. Rooter was a joke, it said nothing that we could give our insurance or any plumber who could come in to replace the pipe.

Fast service. Clear communication. Met all my expectations and I would gladly use them again.
