Mod Glass

This was an extremely bad experience. I had shower glass installed on 11/16/22. It was the worst caulk job I have ever seen. It looked like he smeared the caulk on with his elbow. There were 3 leaks (at the shower glass corner and at two of the clips). They did not come out to fix the problem until 12/21/22 - over one month later! Next time I took a shower it was still leaking at one of the clips. They came out to fix it a second time on 1/18/23 - more than 2 months from the original install date! Again there was still a leak. I emailed them about my frustrations and asked for a discount. They did not respond to my email. 6 days later I emailed them again after contacting a different shower glass company (Perfection Glass) to come fix the problem. They finally emailed saying they would give me a discount but that giving a discount would void the warranty on both parts and labor. Since the warranty seemed irrelevant from them anyway, I took the discount, and will have Perfection Glass fix my problem. As an aside, for those who don't know, all parts are warrantied for life from the parts manufacturers, so the only part of the warranty which is voided is for labor. I could have gone into much more detail about my frustrations, but the long story short is that I had a leaky shower installed which had still not been fixed after two months. I'm not saying don't use them; I'm simply giving you my experience. Good luck with whatever you decide.

STAY AWAY FROM HERE, they dont even deserve the one star, howver my son broke a double payne window. I reached out to them in July they sent someone out in august he took measurements then never heard back I called them again and via text she sent out another tech they didnt follow up I had to reach out to them via text she told me the window was ordered no one called and gave prices she qouted 450 I reluctley agreed that was on october 5 on today i texted and asked if the window was ordered or if i should go with another company, Linda called and said the window was never ordered! WTH kinda crap is that, she didnt offer a discount, just months of waiting of different people coming to my home taking measurements for a window that ws apparentky never ordered!

Everything was perfectly done, timely, and the price was good.

Replacement of the new dual pane units in the existing frames took place as scheduled, by an experienced and courteous teem that did a great job. Thanks.

I liked that they were low cost, and quick. It was the best price around. There were no problems.

Excellent A+ in all areas: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Punctuality, Customer Service. Clayton initially came out and measured, informing us of the process, approximate timeframe and costs. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and informative. We knew exactly what the cost would be, in writing, when he left. There was no pressure to sign a contract. This bid and contract were emailed to us and we were able to take our time to make our decision with absolutely no pressure. We made our decision on Mod Glass and paid 1/2 of the total online. We were contacted a few days prior to the installation date, approximately 10 days after we confirmed the contract. We were contacted by phone approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrival. James and Clayton arrived and installed the surround. They were very pleasant, upbeat and courteous! They worked very well together! We are extremely pleased with the installation and with Clayton and James. We would definitely hire Mod Glass again and would welcome working with Clayton and James again. We will definitely refer Mod Glass to others.

They came out and gave us a bid. They were very professional and detailed in doing so. We received the bid very quickly and it was very reasonable. The doors came in the time we were told, we were notified and installation was scheduled. Impressive turnaround! Then something came up on our end and we had to change the installation date. They were willing to do that with no problem. They were punctual and easy to work with. The installation went smoothly. The doors look amazing! We would definitely use Mod Glass again.

The technician was great, the process from start to finish was awesome, from the initial consultation to the install. The installer was early to our appointment and finished in less than 30 minutes. The window looks amazing! Great experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

A couple of delays in delivery do to manufacturing difficlulties (scratches in glass discovered by Mod Glass). Once installed glass was as described.

It went very well. We had Bryan and Clayton work on our project and they did a very good job. They provided cloths to put on my newly installed carpet in the master suite. Their work ethic was excellent and they left the work area in a very clean condition.

Perfect and great price

St. Charles Glass was recommended to me by a contractor doing work at my home. It was suggested that I had several windows with bad seals and it would be less expensive to replace just the glass than the entire window. St Charles Glass sent an estimator the very next day. George was at our home for at least a couple of hours talking me through what he would be able to do and measuring all the windows. He told me it was probably take at least 4 weeks to get all the glass ordered. To my surprise, in two weeks St. Charles glass called saying all the glass had arrived from the manufacturer and we scheduled an install date. George and Brandon arrived at 8:30 AM as promised. They worked most of the day but had to schedule a second visit as two pieces of the glass were not correctly cut. They arrived again first thing on the second day of install and were gone within two hours. The glass looks great, they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. I highly recommend this company and would use again if the need arises.

The job went very well. They have good service and it was quick. They were very efficient. They cleaned up very well. The price was very reasonable.

The man who came to measure was punctual, polite and accurate. The glass arrived about a week later and fit perfectly. We were very happy with this entire process with this company.

St. Charles and Glass came in with the lowest bid on making a glass top to protect my new kitchen table. I called several places to compare. They were helpful and friendly on the phone and got back to me quickly. I had the option of bringing in my own template (which they told me how to do in the best way), which brought down the cost. It was a bit of a drive for me to get to Wentzville, but it was worth saving the money. The only thing is that they took longer than they said I called a couple of days later and found out they had to order more glass, but then it was ready the next day. I am very happy with the work overall. I would use them again if I have any needs.

St. Charles Glass & Glazing gave me a quote that was double the cost. We felt they kind of topped up things for a woman because I was the one who was home. They responded right away. The type of glass he suggested we needed which was very expensive was not what the other companies said we needed.

They were the only ones that could actually do it and they were great. They were fast, decent price and great work

Right from the first call, St. Charles Glass Co. was very responsive. We were under a tight timeline and they were able to accommodate. After receiving multiple bids, we found this company to be most competitively priced of all the companies (that provided estimate after taking measurement onsite). They completed the work on schedule and very professional. There was a minor issue (more a result of the unevenness of wall), that was resolved promptly and to our satisfaction. We will definitely use them again.

They came to give the estimate on 1/25/07. They came and put a new window in 2/8/07. They had a fast service, a good representative, and I would use them again.

St. Charles Glass was timely, both appointments worked around our schedule. The measurements and fitting was accurate. The price was the best we could find.

THEY WERE QUICK AND EFFICIENTLY, AND THE WRONG WINDOW THAT WE DID NOT ORDER WAS FIXED.
