Justin and Alex were at my home a few minutes before their appointed time, they were cordial, polite, knowledgeable abouttheir work and professional. I am very impressed with this company because I had family related issues after I first contactedthem and their empathy was very much appreciated. I plan to use Mirelli Tuckpointing again and I encourage others to do so as well.I was quite pleased and satisfied with their work and the price. Keep up the excellent work!

Three workmen arrived on schedule and worked hard despite the extreme heat. They did a superb job and cleaned up when they were finished. They were very polite and got the job done in a reasonable time. We inspected it, found a couple of minor things they had missed, and they quickly made those repairs without complaint. I later saw the coupon on Angie's List, and I called to see if it was too late to use it. I was told that we could subtract that amount and include the coupon with out check. I thought that was very nice. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

All work was completed satisfactorily in very hot weather. The crew were very hard workers and cleaned up afterwards. We were pleased with results.

They were the only ones who was willing to go into the basement and recommend the repair. They were very thorough and very honest. They arrived on time and were very professional.

The owner and his staff were very responsive to e-mails, so there was never much time waiting for a response. Turns out the size step we needed is no longer made, so they proposed a repair which turned out great. The tuckpointing was great, and they even did some areas I wasn't expecting, so that was a nice surprise. The sealing of the cracks also looks great. They applied sand to the silicone, so it actually looks like morter, but is flexible and won't crack. One minor issue was that the workers put our doormat in the yard, which left a big brown spot in the middle of our front yard. I mentioned to the owner, and they were very quick to apologize and made an adjustment to our bill, which I felt was fair for the inconvenience. I would recommend Mirelli and would use them again myself for any Masonry needs.

Both workers were polite and professional. The work occured during the heatwave of late June 2012, but they worked hard nevertheless. Lots of mortar dust was produced by the power grinding out of old material. After the job was complete, they took plenty of time to clean up with rake, broom and hose. I feel like they did a good job overall.

Mr. Mirelli came out to give me an estimate the day after I called. The price seemed fair although I have no idea what this kind of work would cost. He was very friendly and accepted my 5% coupon from Angie's List. He explained how long the wait would be to do the work due to the many other houses with damage from the hail storm we had in April. They came at approximately the time that was given. The two young men worked very hard and was so courteous.

Estimate was delivered promptly. Price was very competitive. Company took the initiative to schedule with me after signed bid was returned (I didn't have to follow up). Workers were prompt, polite, and left the area clean when they were finished. Quality of work was excellent.

Called Mirelli for an estimate on some tuckpointing that needed repair/replacement. John Mirelli contacted us and arranged a time to come out (within the same week) and meet with us to provide an estimate. He arrived on time, was polite, and thorough. About a week later, I noticed some additional areas of concern on the second story of our house and contacted Mirelli a second time to ask that they amend their estimate. Again, John called us right back and stated he would be in the neighborhood this week and would come back over to provide the second estimate. After comparing the bids with those of other highly rated competitors, we decided to proceed with Mirelli who demonstrated exceptional customer service at a more than fair price. Flash forward a couple weeks and all work was completed as scheduled. The crew from Mirelli showed up on site on time and were very professional. When finished, we were left with new tuckpointing and a backyard that was much cleaner than when they arrived. Cannot say enough for the care they showed in making sure no trash was left behind and no damage done to the many plants surrounding the worksite. Couple that with their timeliness, customer service, and reasonable price and I will certainly be calling Mirelli for all future tuckpointing needs.

While selling our home, a Building Inspection noted that the chimney needed tuckpointing and the cap needed replacement. John came within 24 hours of a bid request and was professional and courteous. He gave us the best price from among 3 bids. He understood we needed the repairs, receipt, and lien waiver promptly since our closing date was close at and. John promptly worked us into his schedule and His crew came at the designated time. They did a oworkmanlike job and cleaned up the work area. We got the invoice, paid the bill immediately, and got all of the papaerwork we needed in short order. We would definitely use John again and can recommend him and his team as Excellent service providers. Thanks!

They did a great job stopping a leak on the chimney. Prompt service and they cleaned up everything.

The job went very well. John had originally given me his estimate back in June of 2011, We were pulling together a list of maintenance items and tuckpointing was not an urgent issue, so we delayed the work until april of 2012. John agreed to honor his original estimate and once we decided to pull the trigger on tuckpointing, he was able to accommodate our request to start sooner than later. Though Mr. Mirelli was not there personally, his workers arrived on time and got right to work after the foreman and I reviewed what was to be done (the foreman discussed the job with me while reviewing a piece of paper which I assumed was a copy of the contract). Two men worked inside chiseling and repointing the garden room, and the remaining three men worked on the exterior of our home and the unattached garage. They did a great job matching the mortar color and their lines were clean and even. They even repaired a broken brick on the front of our house and did a nice job, avoiding the necessity to remove and replace a brick. They finished their work in one day, and their cleaned up the work area very nicely. Masonry by nature is not a clean job, but they did an excellent job confining their dust as best they could. The only snag in the experience was a phonecall I received from Mr. Mirelli asking if I'd asked the foreman to do extra work in the garage. I told him I had not, that i'd shown the guy the areas we discussed and the foreman agreed so I assumed we were talking about the same thing, and that I assumed the foreman was working from the contract since he had some paperwork in his hand. Mr. Mirelli apologized for the miscommunication and told me he would absorb the cost of the extra work and assumed responsibility for not showing up to review the job with his crew. As I had other work inside the house to attend to that day, I did not come outside in time to see the guys doing this extra work, otherwise I would have called him or stopped them. I highly recommend this company. They're so professional and skilled.

We moved into our 40+ year old home in August of 2011. One of the recommendations on our home inspection was to have the chimney/cap reviewed by a professional because much of the mortar/bricks were soft and appeared to be in need of repair. Cut to St. Patrick?s day 2012, when St. Louis received quite the downpour and where flooding was fairly rampant. We hadn?t had any problems with the chimney up to that point, but our flue for the gas fireplace was still open because of the random weather we were having. We could see water dripping into the chimney through the cement cap, and called and left a voicemail with Mirelli Tuckpointing that afternoon. We didn?t hear back first thing on Monday because of a voicemail issue, but when I called to follow up that afternoon, I was told that the owner, John, would be by no later than Tuesday to provide an estimate. Sure enough, we received our estimate in the mail later that week, dated 3/20/12, and on Friday 3/23 accepted the proposal via email. We were told that scheduling was about one week of working weather out. Early the next day (3/24/12), I received a call on my cell phone from Mr. Mirelli. He said that the chimney work was a perfect Saturday job and since there was no longer rain in the forecast, he could have someone over to complete the work shortly, if that worked out for us. We were going out of town and said that would work perfectly. Much of the work was completed before we left later that morning, and John?s employee finished up after we left. We haven?t had any problems since, even after the many days of heavy rain that have followed, and the only negative I can speak of on the experience is that the cleanup of the job site could have been a little more thorough. There were pieces of brick and chunks of mortar on the walkway just outside our basement by the AC unit, which is just down from where the chimney is located. There was also a fair amount of mortar dust on the deck and atop the garbage cans on the side of the house near the garage, though I understand that is nearly unavoidable. Long story short(ish), we know we have some additional tuckpointing to be completed on our home, and will be calling on Mirelli Tuckpointing again when the time comes to have that work completed. We?ve already recommended them to friends and family, and my brother-in-law had a similarly good experience with Mirelli.

workmanship is not perfect--somemorter was left on the bricks. However, the were prompt, courteous, professional, and cleaned up their mess so well you didn't know they had been there.

Great, clean work. Didn't know they were coming, but barely knew they were here. Their work was very nicely done. They were clean and fast, and I was happy because our mortar matched perfectly.

This is the second time using Mirelli. John Mirelli was prompt again in coming out to bid the work. Job was scheduled within 4 weeks of the bid. He made sure to get the correct match on our existing mortar and soft bricks. Waterproofing was done 1 month later. Workmen showed up on time and finished the repairs within the day. We were very pleased with the workmanship. Hopefully we are done with tuckpointing for awhile, but if not would definitely call Mirelli again.

The Mirelli employees arrived on time and were very mindful of our property throughout the work. The grinding out of old grout created a lot of dust which they continually removed during the day. They even went above and beyond by rinsing off my son's car when it became covered in the dust. We hadn't been prepared for just how much dust would be created by the job and hadn't moved the car to where it wouldn't get so dirty. When my son had to run an errand he was prepared to rinse it off himself, but the Mirelli employee insisted on doing it for my son, which was much appreciated. Great work all around
