John was very personable and professional and listened to and looked at what I needed done. Unfortunately it was not the type of work his company performs. However, instead of just dismissing it as not being able to assist me, he provided me with contacts at two companies who did do that type of work and let me know the other company that was bidding my job did good work as well. It was obvious to me that he had what was best for the customer in mind instead of a there is nothing in this for me attitude.

The job went very well. They arrived on time, where very courteous, and cleaned up after the job. Very professional!

We recently hired Mirelli to do some tuck pointing on three tall chimneys. It was a fairly big job. Mirelli came in with a large number of workers and did the job in one day. The work was done professionally and very quickly. I thought it would take a week. The experience was so good we gave them another job - another fairly big one. Again they came in with a large crew and knocked the job out in one day. Tuck pointing is inherently a messy job - so getting it done quickly and cleaning up is a big plus. Mirelli is the BEST. I would not use anyone else.

Mirelli gives a 90 day guarantee, so if 90 days is acceptable to a customer, than that is fine. I did not notice the 90 day guarantee. But, all the mortar that was replaced deteriorated in about two years. I contacted Mirelli and they stated it was due to calcium chloride used to remove ice in the winter. But, I never apply salt or any chemicals to the front porch. I called another firm specializing in historical work, and they claim the wrong cement was used. Now, only time will tell if Mirelli claims all flat surfaces will break down so fast. But, this other contractor guaranteed 3 years to repair the Mirelli area, or 5 years if I tuck pointed the entire porch following the proper tuck pointing material. 3 to 5 years guarantee sounds better than 90 days. I will have the work done this Spring. Only time will tell if this new contractor is correct.

Mirelli Tuckpointing provided the best price estimate on the work I needed done on my chimney and the firebox in the fireplace. They did very good work, but I had to wait about a month until they could fit me into their schedule. They contacted me the day before the service to tell me that's when they planned to come fix the chimney. I would have liked a little more advance notice, but I know they are busy and have a lot of work. They tuckpointed the firebox and repaired/replaced cracked bricks in the chimney. This is the first year since I've been in my old house that we were able to have a nice fire in the fireplace after the tuckpointing. I would definitely use them again.

The Mirelli crew arrived on time, did a very good job on the repairs and made sure the work site was clean before they left. I would definitely use them for any additional work.

It was a cold sunny day, but the craftsman came out and did a beautiful job repairing the ugly cracks in my front porch. He was professional, courteous and talented. I was thrilled with the results.

They got here early even though the weather was not ideal. They did a good job. They were respectful to me, and cooperated with each other nicely. All of the workers that I interacted with readily listened,and answered questions. They didn't ask for money up front, and they provided a bill at the end of the project. Overall, I was pleased with everything.

Mr. Mirelli came by promptly with an estimate for the work needing to be done which was on a par with the other estimates we had gotten. It was a no-pressure, no-obligation estimate; just an honest guy. Once we agreed to the work proposed, a date was set for the work to begin. On the appointed day, the work team arrived, about 8 or 9 workers in 3 trucks. They repaired the whole house, including the front porch, were professional, and cleaned up after themselves. "They came, they saw, they conquered, they cleaned up and they did it only 1 day!" It looks terrific. You can't even see where the spot-pointing was done; IT ALL MATCHES! 100% happy! Highly recommended! No surprises...a GREAT JOB!

Re-Tuckpointed front sidewalk. Excellent!

They called the day before they came to verify it was alright, since they run on a first come first serve basis they do not actually schedule service dates but give you an approximation of when services may be available. The crew arrived when they said they would and were very quick to get to work, they only needed an outlet and a water source to get started. They cleaned up very well and were conscientious of my dog needing to go out from time to time. I called after the work was complete and asked about a few points that seemed to be overlooked and they quickly came out to finish these portions. Whenever you call the office they are very kind, helpful, and efficient.

Mirelli's crew did a great job, something I've regretfully come to expect - regretfully because few other contractors are as competent and professional as Mirelli's workers. The one glitch in the job was a result of my lack of attention to detail - I neglected to tell the crew or the office staff about a screen porch at the rear of the house that collected lots of mortar dust from the work. My error completely. When I let them know what I wanted, they went out of their way to make it happen. My barometer of a good contractor is that they work on my house the way they would work on their house and Mirelli is a prime example of that kind of work.

The attention to detail and concern for our property exceeded my expectations and I have very high expectations. Out of the 50 or more contractors we have dealt with in the past 2 year remodeling our home, these guys were by far the best!

Work completed in a timely manner. Workers put tarps down to protect porches; moved patio furniture. Cleanup was excellent - if I hadn't been at home when the workers were there, I never would have known they came! Only complaint is that they didn't give us a heads-up when they were coming - had actually estimated the end of the month and they came on the 20th. Considering the work/clean up they did, it was really not a big deal.

The original error was made by the owner, who did not come out to supervise his men. Even when I called to complain about the work, he still did not come out, and instead, sent his men out to acid wash the bricks. They dug out the existing mortar way too deeply, and they broke many of the bricks on the corners and along the seams. Then they tried to patch the broken bricks with mortar, which does not look professional. I was disappointed that the owner didn't think my job was important enough to personally come out to look at the work his company was doing. The two workers that came out seemed inexperienced. I am not happy with the service.

Overall very well. I had some reservation initially about appearance that moisture had re-entered some of the repaired areas, however, Mirelli promptly returned to review questioned areas, and assured that they would return in spring to attend to immediately if they caused issue. The only reason I graded B in certain categories was this concern. Otherwise, provider did a very good job.

Mr. Mirelli arrived promptly for my scheduled appointment; he was pleasant and professional. He was thorough in checking the areas I mentioned and noted other problems. Each company that gave us estimates was highly rated on Angie's List. We went with the lowest bid.

I called for an estimate and Mr. Mirelli was out to the house the next day. He was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I received a written estimate in the mail shortly thereafter and decided to work with him after receiving a few other bids. I liked that his workmen are long term permanent employees, the pricing was fair, and they had high ratings on Angie's List. They scheduled the job and the crew arrived promptly. The workmen were courteous and professional, did a good job on the masonry, answered all my questions, and left the work area clean at the end of the day. I would definitely work with them again.

Our brick sidewalk leading up to the front porch was in horrible condition, simply due to deterioration of the mortar between the bricks over the years. The crumbling condition was not only unsightly, but was also making the sidewalk unsafe to use, particularly if wearing shoes with heals which could easily slip into the deteriorated, open spaces where the mortar was missing or broken. John Mirelli came out and gave me an estimate very promptly. They were very busy but were willing to work with me so that the work could be completed prior to our leaving for vacation. Two workers arrived on the day and time agreed to. They were prompt and very professional. The job was very tedious and time-consuming since they had to completely clean out the old material before re-tuckpointing between each and every brick. Both men worked very hard all day long, They worked consistently and never wasted any time at all. When they were finished, they completely cleaned up the area. They will come back in 30 days to clean and seal the new work. I am very pleased with how the sidewalk looks now and look forward to the final step in the process in about a month. I have no complaints whatsoever and would definitely recommend Mirelli Tuckpointing.

I did not hire them. If they can't take the effort to do a valid inspection, how can I trust that they will do quality work?

I asked them to come a little earlier than expected because our neighbor was going to be having a baby and I didn't want to disturb her, and they did. We needed some chimney repairs & tuckpointing done before installing a new roof. Mirelli did not overbid the project, and their price was in line with our other bids. They came out & did the work on a Saturday, so as to be done ahead of our roofer. They arrived, did the work & cleaned up in a little over three hours. The crew was very friendly & professional. They were careful to protect our house from any mess, while they did their work. The man who bid the job, the office staff who answered the phone and the crew that did the work were all very friendly & willing to answer all our questions. Our roofer, who first alerted us to the need for the chimney repairs, was very complimentary about the quality of the repairs. Gave a detailed quote - showed me iPhone photos he took while on my roof - gave me a bid with good detail - price was not the lowest but close - they just seemed more professional. The crew showed up on time, cleaned up the job site when finished and the workmanship looks good.

The workers showed up at the scheduled time. They introduced themselves and were very polite. The new exactly what needed to be done and got right to work. When I returned home, the workers were done and the area was cleaned up. Since the repair, we have had incredible hard rain storms and I have not seen any indication of water getting through to my ceiling.
