Minnick said they aren't doing surveys of residential property, they only work with commercial clients. Not sure why they would have such a high rating on Angies list.

They responded quickly with an estimate and provided the survey in a timely manner.

My land is just over 3 acres. I was having a detached garage built and did not think I needed a survey due to the size of my lot and the proximity of the new structure. The work for the new structure was already scheduled and I needed a survey quickly to get my permit turned around before the work commenced. Because of the size of my lot, the City of Wildwood did not require me to have a full-blown boundary survey and the Surveyor's Real Property Report was acceptable. Minnick Surveying L.L.C. was able to do both types of surveys and was able to accommodate me on very short notice and at a very fair price. I don't remember the surveyor's name but I had a chance to spend some time with him. He was very methodical and detail oriented. He was a talker but fun to talk to and just a genuine person. I don?t say that about too many people so coming from me, that means something. Amy is the person I corresponded with and she was as professional and down-to-earth as they come. I promised her I would leave positive feedback on Angie's list and though I am nearly a year late, I owe it to Minnick Surveying L.L.C to follow through on my commitment and Minnick Surveying L.L.C is very deserving of my follow-through.

I needed a land survey fairly quickly to move forward with other projects. I called Minnick surveying and their quote was competitive and they were very kind. They were able to perform the survey within a few days of the quote. The finished survey was mailed to us promptly and I could continue with my other projects. I will definitely use them again!

Jared Merrick arrived Monday morning right on time. He once again explained what he would be doing to complete an Elevation Survey. The entire survey included the inside first floor of the house, the basement, all sides of the house, noted that I have a carport instead of a garage and finally the surrounding land (my neighborhood.) Jared did all the surveying in and around the outside of my house first; he then moved through the neighborhood. Jared was quite kowledgeable and able to answer the questions I had relating to grandfathering the house, the shoring-up of the nearby creek, and other things. Jared emailed me the results and also mailed the hard copy I'll need when renewing my Flood Insurance. It's nice to have the copy on the computer as I can zip it off to my current flood insurance company for them to preview. Flood Insurance is only sold by certain insurance companies. The FEMA website has a listing of those if you need them. If more land surveying was required, there's no doubt I'd hire Merrick Surveying again.

After reading about this company on Angie's List, I contacted them regarding a property survey. On the morning of the scheduled survey, two very pleasant and professional young men arrived promptly at the appointed time and conducted the property survey. Within a couple of days, I received a copy of my property survey via email, and the following day I received four copies via U.S. mail. Unfortunately, only a couple of weeks later, one of my neighbors removed one of my property markers! I called Minnick, and the young lady explained to me over the phone how to find the marker their company had placed. Minnick is a great company to do business with: prompt, courteous, professional, pleasant, and honest. I have already recommended them to a co-worker, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a property survey.

Minnick Surveying's estimate for our residential property survey was below all the others I received and consequently I had some doubts about the quality of the service. Having gone with them and being extremely satisfied with their performance I can say without hesitation that those concerns were totally unfounded. In fact, after spending approximately four hours on our property diligently looking for historical monuments that demarcate the corners of the property and subdivision, I received a call from Jared, the owner, a few days later letting me know that he would like to come back and look again for one that he hadn't found. Sure enough it was right where he suspected it should be after putting all the pieces of the puzzle together on the plat back at his office. Because of his impressive investigational skills we actually gained roughly 18" of ground on our Western boundary. In summary, Minnick Surveying is extremely polite, professional and will most likely save you some money and I highly recommend them!

Called Minnick and in about 5 minutes, they had brought up our property and were able to give an estimate. I called them back the same day, after getting approval from other owners in building. They set a date that worked for both of us, within a week's time. Jason arrived, with his assistant, exactly on time, having called 10 minutes ahead to let me know he was on his way. It took about 3 hours to do the survey. I was present, in the house, but could have left if I had needed to. When the survey was completed, Jason made sure I had no unanswered questions, and answered those I did have. He gave several good options for getting copies of the survey and gave an estimated date that they would be ready. Two days later, he called to confirm that copies could be sent, dropped off, or ;picked up.

Price was considerably lower than other estimates. Great communication and showed up on time. They did have trouble locating one of the markers and had to come back a day later. But, seems like that is more a problem with older records in my area.

The two men who came to my home were on time, friendly, and professional. There were severe thunderstorms in the area when they arrived at the property, and they could have easily canceled but they came out anyway, waited until the weather cleared, and completed the survey. The survey took approximately 2.5 hours (including break for weather), and I did not need to be there. I called on a Monday, received the estimate the next day, and they came out that Thursday. I was told to expect the completed survey the following Monday or Tuesday. The whole process will have taken one week to complete. It is a very quick turn around.

Bill was very prompt in responding to my query and in providing quote. Bill was able to get the survey done next day. Bill kept me appraised of progress at every step.

Two gentlemen spent about two and one half hours surveying my small lot. I now at least know exactly where my property lines are. Unfortunately, they had to work in the rain, and I heard no complaints. They were both very polite. At the end, the one gentlemen took me around my yard and explained all of the markings. Stakes with flags were also placed at the four corners. They did their job. I do not know if the price was right or not, as I've never had a land survey before.
