Not well.

It?s just been three days since they have completed the job. It appears that they have done a good job. I will use them again in the future. It has now been a year since having this work done, and things are in good shape...as you'd expect. Only "surprises" come from the minor adjustments made over the year by the ceiling/roof. This is not really a problem per se, and it shows up in a few of the overhead nails pushing out about 1/4" to 1/2". Like I said, not a problem really as it appears to be nothing more than a bit of settling after the work was done. Hopefully, I won't need to use this company again, but I certainly would...after the proper amount of negotiation.

I will get the work done next spring. The estimate was for $975 to mud jack under the front porch. It included up to 3 yards of slurry. The quote they gave me was $850 for the setup charge and $125 for another 3 yards of slurry. They also quoted $3400 for foundation repair, which I will not be getting done as it does not affect my house. They were excellent. They were very courteous on the phone. I talked to the owner and he gave me a range. Since both my wife and I work, he told me that we don?t have to be at home when he came out to do the quote. He gave a three-day period in which he would come out. He told me that me that he would send out the quote in a week and he did. I know that his quote is more than reasonable. I will use them for another quote in the future.

We have been happy their work. If I have a need for the type of work they do, they will be the ones that I call for service.

I started noticing water leaking into the basement about two years ago when it rained really hard. I did not really think it was a big deal as my basement was unfinished at the time. All I really had to do was be sure the boxes and stuff were off the floor so they did not get wet or moldy. Then about a year ago i started to notice a bunch more water and one of the walls on the foundation was buckling in. That is when a friend of mine told me they had the same problem and had just gotten it fixed. The was pretty much the end of it until we decided to get the basement finished to increase our living and entertainment space. That is when I started calling around and checking with companies in St Louis that do basement repair work. I checked out the BBB ratings and references of each. Based on the years in business and the no nonsense approach I used Mid America and I am very pleased with the results.
