 + -1 moreHere are some of the problems: 1. They allowed the roofing debris to spread all over my side and rear yards and neighbor's yard. 2. They failed to do a complete tear off as agreed. 3. They failed to relay loose bricks in the parapet walls, they only tuck-pointed them. 4. Twice I had to complain to get my uncompleted roof covered when rain was fore casted. They left my roof exposed with only tar paper covering it when it was lightly misting! I asked for a 40 ft tarp, but they spread out my tarp and other tarps. They brought over a 40 footer when rain was dripping in through my ceilings in 27 spots at 5 a.m. the next morning. I listened to it for 45 minutes dribbling down through the walls, to the first floor ruining the downstairs neighbors couch. 5. They offered to put up new ceilings but did not screw the new drywall to the joists, installed small pieces like a puzzle instead of using complete 4 X 8 sheet of drywall. 6. I spent this spring cleaning more roofing debris out of my yard.
Description of Work: I had a lots of problems with MB Construction and the subcontractor LG Construction (8904 Cozens) for the roof / gutter work on my house in Nov 2005. Marc Blanchard of MB Construction is well-meaning but the work on my house was plagued with problems and a lack of oversight which resulted in work of questionable quality and damage to my home. During the roof installation, over 27 leaks came into the 2nd floor when they failed to cover my roof adequately after my repeated requests because rain was expected. The one week job required 4 weeks. Some of the roofers he hired were my neighbors he randomly ran into. Ultimately in March 2006, the new roof leaked staining one of the new ceilings I had installed. On the roof I found over 12 spots in the roll roofing where the 4 inch overlap was not sealed. I sealed it with roofing cement. Blanchard came over the next day and sealed the chimney and offered to fix the interior ceiling but I refused. I had had enough! Choose roofers carefully!
