I got three bids for the job. Two of the bids were three times as expensive as Marlon's. They said that several layers of bricks on the top of chimney would have to be replaced, which needlessly to say raise the cost. Looking back, I doubt if that would be necessary. Marlon responded very quickly, and as far as I can tell, they did a very good job. They came back in about 3 weeks to waterproof the chimney as well. Overall, it has been a great experience with Marlon Tuckpointing.

We needed to have our chimney rebuilt and Marlon did a fantastic job. Good work at a fair price. The original date of the project had to be postponed due to weather and it was communicated well before the anticipated start time. I really appreciated that. I'd hire Marlon again in a second.

Marlon was phenomenal. We had them out to give an estimate and they were incredibly thorough. Their bid was closer to the high end but they offered the best description of all the work that was to be completed. We scheduled them for two days in May. They were able to come early and their work was impeccable. We would use them again should the need arise. Lastly, they cleaned up after themselves each day...it was so appreciated!

Excellent job of tuckpointing 2 chimneys.

Marlon was very responsive all the way through the process, from estimating to completion. He even came back to review the job scope and clarify his estimate before I signed his quote. He actually was there with his crew to oversee the work. I decided on Marlon vs. his competition because he intended to remove and replace bricks (about 10 total) that had cracked through through the middle. His competition was going to simply caulk the cracked bricks and try to stain the caulk to try to match the color. Job accomplished very professionally.

I had old, leaky tuckpointing on a wall of my home. I had full tuckpointing done on that wall and waterproofing done. The problems I was having have been resolved with the new tuckpointing. I was very happy with the job. My only complaint is that I recently discovered the downspout was not properly reattached. They put a screw in with no anchor so the screw isn't actually holding the gutter to the house. I am going to have to get an anchor and fix that. That is pretty minor, overall I am very happy with the job. I was also very happy Marlon took the time to come to my home when I was home so I was able to explain to him and show him the problems I was having. Other places didn't want to take the time to do that.

Excellent work. Did my whole house. This is messy work and they were very respectful of my house and my neighbors. They cleaned up at the end of the day, showed up on time and worked hard all day. And the quality of their work was great. I highly recommend.

We needed emergency service to restore the structure for construction to continue. Marlon came by the same day I called and began work the very next day. Finding a mason/tuck pointer that does excellent work for a fair price is difficult. Finding one that will also be responsive to your immediate needs is impossible. We've used Marlon Tuck Pointing for a few years now on a couple properties and I always recommend him. Thank you Marlon for your hard work ethic and excellent customer service.

It went well

It went better than we could have imagined. I filled out information on their website to get a free estimate and was pleasantly surprised to have an estimate emailed in just a few days. Their bid came in several thousand dollars below another bid we received, which made me a little skeptical. My husband met with him in person and was totally convinced that we should hire them. Marlon works with a crew of three other men and every day they showed up on time and worked incredibly hard, making huge strides every day until the job was done. They not only cleaned up our property after working each day, they cleaned our neighbor's porch and yard that got massive amounts of dust. Our house had red mortar, which I have always disliked, and the lighter tan mortar that Marlon helped us choose, makes my house look amazing. We couldn't be happier.

Went really good. Marlon always delivers good service and our customers are happy with the results.
