LOWE'S

I am very pleased with them. I can make an order on something like flooring and they have it ready when I get there. Great customer service and I would highly recommend them.

The installation and everything with the installation was perfect, I would give anything regarding that an “A”. The only thing that I didn’t like and I found this out later; is that they don’t remove pre-existing carpeting. I had to pull all the old carpet up myself.

The weather can sometimes take a beating on us so I am waiting to see how it holds up. They are really good, I can not argue that. I found something when they were working on it and they got right on it. If you have the credit or cash for it just do it. They are one of the places I can go and not deal with it. You do not have to do deal with the contractors they do that for you. They are like the middle man between you and the contractors. When I found something wrong I went to Lowes and they had someone out in less then a day and had it fixed.

Everything went well for the most part. They did a good job with the roof, they showed on time time, and they were careful to avoid damaging the surrounding landscaping when doing the work. Unfortunately, they bent part of my gutter in several places which hasn't been resolved due to scheduling difficulties on my part as well as the company.

The service went well. They completed the job quickly and there were no issues with the installation. It was not a full service. We had to do the leveling and they drew the template. We also took out the old countertops ourselves. The installers did good work. I really liked the guy who drew up the template. He was great at explaining everything to me and was happy to show me the drawing while he was out. It was easy to schedule the service.

They were fine, perfect.

I liked the deal; obviously, it's a great deal. I wish I could buy more than one!

It was a good experience. When the door was unwrapped here, the first Pella door was damaged and they had to send it back to Pella because it was a damage that couldn't be repaired onsite. They put in another order because it was a custom door and they expedited it and had another one out in 3 weeks. Thy said they had had a problem with Pella doors. Lowe's was great and they expedited ordering the new door. We love the door. Everything was perfect. They were in and out very fast and cleaned up everything. Lowe's also followed up with a call to see how everything went. We were happy with the installation. We would have no problem using them again. We had priced Pella and Lowe's was $1,000 cheaper.

The installer (Gary) had already installed 2 storm doors for me. He did a beautiful job on those installations, so I was glad he was going to be doing the basement door installation. Of course, it was raining the day he was supposed to do the installation, but he showed up a few minutes earlier than scheduled to let me know it would have to be postponed. We rescheduled, and he arrived a couple of minutes early and went straight to work, non-stop. When the installation was finished, he went over the operation of the doors with me and explained how he customized the installation, and left the house and basement CLEANER than before he arrived. I believe he is one of Lowe's greatest assets. Later that same day, I received a sales flyer in the mail from Lowe's about a $100 rebate on the same type of door I ordered. I took the flyer to the store with my sales receipt, and they honored the rebate.

Of four appliances, two were damaged. One special order appliance was delivered at 8 a.m. with no notice. None of the items except the range, which was installed by a contractor, was correctly set up. It could not have been a more frustrating experience. A false economy to buy from this store.

Went to Lowe's for an estimate based on door dimensions I provided. Lowe's requires that their installer come out and measure everything. The fee for this is $35 and is credited back against a purchase. Though, my measurements were correct :-) (just fyi!) Worked with Kelly in the door and window area of the store to arrange purchase and install. Very nice guy and easy to work with. Steve (works in same area) also very helpful. Lowe's contracts with 3rd parties for installation services. Let me also say that energy efficient glass makes a huge difference (low-e, I believe). The temperature difference inside is comfortable by the door and the glass and opening the door, the sun is blazing hot. Very happy with this aspect as well as the overall look of the door. Not thrilled about the yellow walls, but hey, we're remodeling (and that is not a Lowe's issue after all). :-)

I visited Lowe's on 9/17/07 to arrange garage door purchase and install for my newly purchased small Dutchtown residence. Lowe's Lumber Department entered all my information in computer as PO #44337109, and I paid $35 for an estimate, which was performed by Lowe's Contractor on 9/21/07. Contractor indicated that Lowe's would have the estimate on 9/24/07, and would contact me by 9/26/07 with estimate amount and next steps. I was never contacted; I drove to Lowe's on evening of 9/28/07 and spent more than an hour with sales associates in customer service and lumber; they said "Day ladies had messed up files and we can't find your file." They promised that I would be called 9/29/07 with the information. Lowe's did not call, and I returned evening 9/30/07 and got a refund of the $35 estimate fee.

I received the sale price. I truly like the outdoor code which was included in the kit. An employee loaded the box in my vehicle. I made arrangements for Lowe's to subcontract a garage door company for the installation. They followed through with this to my satisfaction.

They were good at helping me with the stuff that I bought. The customer service was great. I go to Lowes because they excel in everything. I have compared them to other companies and they are the best.
