Description of Work: We had a back porch, patio and fence installed under contract with Like New Construction. The did have a subcontractor do the concreate work and this is where we had trouble. The owner of that company didn't want to recognize problems cause with our neighbors yard nor did he want to follow through with the finishing work needed and I ended up having to deal with him instead of all communicaton being through Like New as I was contracted. This was unfortunate and it left a bad taste in my mouth with Like New Construction because they were not taking care of my issues. After it was all done and my neighbor and I were satisfied with the completed job, I must say the quality of the work was everything we hoped for. There have been no problems with any part of it since the work was officially completed.

+ 0 moreThey did a good job. They were really friendly, professional and easy to deal with. There were a couple of things that we chose to do ourselves because they were too high. They gave us a time period and finished it in that time period.
Description of Work: I used Like New Construction for remodeling services. They worked on the kitchen, bathroom, tiles and flooring.

+ -1 moreWe ordered our cabinets ahead of time and had them ready to go. The old cabinets had to be torn out and the new ones put in. The work left a good bit of dust and there were a few surprises to the project (as older homes have) but they handled the surprise work in stride and the cabinets looked great. We were really happy with how quickly the work was completed. Overall we were really happy with everything.
Description of Work: We had some of our cabinets replaced.

+ 1 moreAbsolutely amazing work. George is one of the most talented carpenter I have ever seen. He is professional, on time, and very trustworthy. The work he does is amazing! There was no mess what so ever which I have had problems with in the past with other people I have hired. He is detailed, he listens, and delivers. I almost can't wait to do my basement because George is so great to work with.
Description of Work: Removal of all carpet from home and replaced with wide plank exotic wood installed diagonally throughout home. Bathroom vinyl replaced with granite tile. Kitchen and laundry room had vinyl flooring, now travertine. Kitchen counters were formica and replaced with blue pearl granite. Also had complete fence built. I could not be happier with my home!

+ -1 moreAlthough this company no longer does roofing, I had a year old bid from a subcontractor who was originally sent by their company. It was a good bid and I asked if they would honor it. They gave me the # of a sub, who came and was pleasant, but did not follow through at all, did not return messages, and did not show up when promised. When I complained to Like New Construction, because they had sent the guy to me, they wanted to help me out. So, even though I did not use their sub, who they said they will never use again, they gave me help toward paying for the contractor I did hire on my own. In the end, Like New was very helpful and professional...but they do not do roofs. :)
Description of Work: This contractor no longer provides the services I was looking for, roofing. So do not call them for roofing.
