Description of Work: They have worked for me and in my home for at least 10 years 114 year old webster groves home in a nAtional Historic neighborhood: Complete kitchen re-do from studs, including exact match of moldings and trim, framing of interior and exterior windows Exterior wood siding repair Copper gutter repair and replacement, new gutter and downspout Bathroom and kitchen repair after pipe froze and flooded New back porch to match exact 114 year old front porch with matched corbels, handrails, detailed balusters, caps, stairs rails, decking Misc. home exterior repairs Replaced the plaster ceiling with dry wall in a craftsman wood beam coffered dining room plus I am certain more work to come.

Description of Work: Kuhn Construction has worked on a variety of projects in my home - from building a new addition with a new kitchen to remodeling the bathroom to rebuilding my front porch.

Description of Work: .I hired this company to put vinyl siding on my home. In the process of doing this they subcontracted work to a plumbing company, a carpenter, an electrician, an engineering firm, a siding and guttering company and others. All of these proved reliable, conscientious, painstaking and capable. Kuhn Construction Co. and Rick Kuhn, its leader, were wonderfully prompt, knowledgeable, conscientious and hard-working. Mr. Kuhn stopped by, by himself or with other workmen, frequently to see how the work was going and to talk to me about it. He pointed out ancillary jobs that needed to be done (i.e. replacilng a wooden step to the deck that was insecure) and was otherwise careful in his attention to the job. It was finished (though there were times when I thought the weather would have prevented work outside) on time and the result was entirely up to my expectations. Everything was done in a superior manner and the workmen were all more than pleasant to deal with. I would not hesitate for one moment to hire this company again or to recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who needed work done.

Description of Work: Bathroom renovation. We live in a small house in which the hallway bathroom is the main bathroom with vanity, toilet, bathtub/shower. We had the bathroom completely torn out. The only piece we reused was the vanity but not the top. Kuhn was the general contractor using electrician, plumber and tile layer from outside. One bigger structural work that we recessed he medicine cabinet into the wall. We also added more lamps, outlets and a ventilator.

Description of Work: They performed a deck remodel and rebuilt a poorly designed addition to the house. The job started as a deck redo but when the deck was removed from the part of our house built as an addition we found out that that portion of our house was completely rotted through (a previous owner had done it himself and had done a beyond terrible job-exposed wire, no flashing under windows and doors. Water had been leaking in for years. All the wood in the subfloor had rotted away and there was black mold in the walls. I could stick my fingers through the remaining wood). We then hired them to also rebuild the addition. They rebuilt the addition and the deck.

Description of Work: Kuhn Construction rebuilt my deck in the backyard. They tore down the existing one and replaced it with a new 14' x 14' exposed deck.
