 + -1 moreI can't say enough good things about Klaus Illian. I think he went above and beyond for us. We had some difficulties with our lender's inspection requirements. Klaus helped us work out all of our difficulties. He is very knowledgeable about construction and finances. We had some very specific requirements for the location of our new home. Klaus was patient and encouraging, and showed us numerous houses. We felt we could count on him for an honest opinion. We felt like he was committed to helping us find a home we loved. He always returned our calls or emails in a timely manner. He has very good computer skills, which made much of the paperwork process of home buying a lot easier. He is very informed about the real estate market. He's an excellent negotiator. And to top it all off, he's a great conversationalist. A month or so after we purchased our home, we encountered some repair issues. Klaus went our of his way to call the seller for us and help us work out the problems.
Description of Work: Klaus Illian assisted us in buying our first home. He helped us pinpoint an area of the city that we loved. He showed us a lot of houses that either fit or came close to fitting our idea of the house we wanted to buy. He explained how the home buying process worked. He explained all paperwork to us. He often brought paperwork to our house for our signatures. He emailed or called us often to give us updates. He helped us work with our lender. After the home buying process was complete, we experienced some repair issues that we felt were the seller's responsibility. Klaus gave us advice on how to proceed and even called the seller a few times for us.
