Description of Work: Dog was groomed by Becky for years, she did an outstanding job, she left kennel wood, all other groomers used don't complete all grooming aspects, such as trimming nail pad or trimming nails, very disappointed, searching for new groomer

 + -1 moreSo the service provider was very nice and corrected the issues with the line around the house. However, he insisted that the collar tested fine. However, when we put it on the dog, again she started to flinch and tear at it because it was going off constantly away from the fence line--in fact inside our house. He admitted that it wasn't working correctly (this, after a year of us saying as much), and gave us a new collar. So far so good. In summary, I think these folks need to be more responsive, professional and pro-active. If your customer has a concern, take it seriously, ask questions, don't argue that everything is fine. Communicate that a service worker is going to be late; follow-up and see that everything was taken care of. They have far to go on these counts.
Description of Work: We have used Kennelwood's Invisible Fence Brand. I have found the service very underwhelming. The fence put in did not reach to the house so the dog was able to get into the front yard with little trouble. The collar has not worked and has shocked the dog while she was far from the line. Twice we found her writhing on the ground. I am currently waiting for them to come out and address these two issues. I was told they would be here between 1-3. I called at 1:15 to get an estimate on arrival. Was told I'd get a call back. After and hour and a half, still no call back. I just called again. It was a total hassle to get any information. I felt like I was inconveniencing them to ask the installer to give an e.t.a. Now I'm told he'll be arriving late. I have kids to pick up and have no idea when this is going to get done. I will update if the work performed is better than it has been.

Description of Work: We boarded our two senior dogs for two nights, 3 days. They also got summer haircuts. They first put us in a small kennel that I knew wouldn't work for both my dogs, their beds and dog bowls. I asked to be moved to a larger size and they let us. It was the same price. I called each day we were gone and they were fine, except not eating much. This is not unusual though because we have found they suffer from separation anxiety. We brought all their food and treats with them. They were happy to see us when we arrived to pick them up. They headed straight for the door. I paid the bill and we left. I noticed that evening I was over charged so I called the next day. They were happy to remove the charge. Only this was, they accidently charged us again instead of giving us a credit. I called and they credited our card. I'll check on Friday of this week to see if it worked. Everyone was friendly.

Description of Work: My 2 dogs stayed stayed here in a patio room (together) for 6 nights. We like these rooms because they have access to the outside, and can bunk together. They don't allow you to bring your own bedding or toys (as some places do), but I feel like they do a good job, and my dogs have never had any problems here. The price is better than most, which is a huge plus in my book. We will continue to use this location when we go out of town and have to board our dogs.

 + -1 moreGreat, dog likes going back which to me means he's not associating it with bad experiences. Grooming services always performed well, we usually opt for the daycamp option so there's playtime during the boarding.

 + 0 moreThe staff at Kennelwood are outstanding. I went into the O'Fallon location to get a feel for the business as I had never day-boarded a pet before. They were very friendly, gave me a tour of the entire facility and several brochures about their services from grooming to training to pet-person matching services. The facility is small but very clean and well organized for dogs being kenneled. This location in O'Fallon, MO does not offer overnight boarding services, but other Kennelwood locations in the area do. This location has one of the best groomers (Jan) who really loves working with animals. My pug also received training -- which while expensive (approximately $600) was very intensive and extremely effective. I will be taking my second pug for training when he's old enough. Day camp runs $20 per day and includes dog socializing, cuddling, outdoor play, all under close supervision. There is a discount for multi-day purchases. I have recommended the business to coworkers.
Description of Work: I take my pug to Kennelwood Pet Resort in O'Fallon, Missouri for "puppy day camp" activities. I also use their grooming services on a monthly basis.

 + -1 moreI really like this place because they have an area where the dogs can play. My dog loves to go there because of this, and I think that they are great! I think that they charged me between 15 and 20 dollars a night because I sometimes want them to give my dog special treats. They are great!
