They did an okay job. Their responsiveness was fine. The workers were fine. They did not come prepared with drywall and that was one thing they said they would have on hand. He was about half an hour late. He left about half an hour early. The deal was for 5 hours so I expected the whole 5 hours. He had to run to the hardware store to buy supplies he didn't have. He didn't buy what he said he was going to buy. He didn't call to confirm what he needed. He ended up using what I had available which wasn't the right type of drywall. He was cutting a screen on my floor and I told him not to do that because it could scratch.

These guys are fantastic. We've used them multiple times. Great work quality and enjoyable to work with. We'll use them any time we've got a project we can't tackle ourselves. Highly recommended.

John called back and was able to schedule someone to come the next day. All work went great! We ended up hiring a second time when the weather was warm enough for outdoor painting, and again John was able to accommodate on short notice. Greg and Ron were both very punctual and professional. I am very pleased with the quality of service and work!

James did a wonderful job, was very helpful and peasant to work with.

6 week later I am looking for someone else.

It was alright. I paid more than the deal I purchased. I wasn't really pleased. It took him several times. It took him a really long time. He charged me a whole bunch of money. He broke the microwave in the process. He had to go buy a new one.

Went great. I like to write good reviews and these guy mad it easy to do. Came when they said they were going to and got a lot done for the price.

Mostly swapping out electrical outlets. However, additional tasks included switching out drain pipes under a sink and building a railing for an exterior staircase. We had a long list. It went very well.

They're awesome, more than awesome. I wanted to turn one of my spare bedrooms into a closet room. Yet all the pre-made shelves, do it yourself stores, none of them were wide enough for what I needed. So the man they sent out obtained boards and cut them to size and painted them and installed them in my now closet room. He did it all in one day with spare time left over. No, I didn't spend more. I ordered three packages from them total. All we did was kind of split up the hours so the day we ended up doing the shelves, that used two of the $189 things. This one was the one that took place most recently. It was right before Thanksgiving that they came out to do the work. As you already know, I have used them in the future.

Used the contractor for a day hours to repair some damaged wood siding, a wood bench fixture, and some water damage to a door. Good solid work, with no problems, would use again.

Each time I had a list prepared for the things I needed done. The service man came each time, I showed him the list and we went through each item to be done. He then left to get the necessary parts, etc. to do the job and returned and completed my list each time. I reimbursed him for the items he had purchased. I had new smoke alarms installed and the old ones removed, grab bars in each bathroom installed. One window had a broken sash and this was repaired. Shower door repaired and shower recaulked. Toilet recaulked. Light fixture in bathroom repaired. Wall painted in bathroom. Gutter screens replaced that had been blown off. Broken yard light removed from front lawn and new motion light installed on garage. Electrical outlets in attic brought up to code. New weather stripping on front door. I am starting my next list and definitely plan to use this service in 2016. All work was done professionally, quickly, and to our satisfaction. I can't say enough about the quality of this company and its owner and employees.

I had Frisch come out to give me a bid on my bathroom. Jon came out straight away. Was very professional, responsive and punctual. Although in the end we choice to use a dif company, I still wanted to write a review to let others know how nice they were and how much I appreciated their time & expertise. I wouldn't hesitate to have Jon in our home & would consider having them bid out another project for us in the future. :-)

I was not present, but per my tenants, it went absolutely smoothly and the work was done earlier than anticipated. It was still worth the money.

It was fine. I paid extra. Some of the doors were not cut evenly. I would probably use them in the future.

James arrived exactly on time and was pleasant and easy to work with. He was knowledegable and thorough. As is was too cold to paint, John arranged for Ron to come the following week to finish up. I appreciated this flexibility.

John came on site within days of my call and followed up timely with an estimate. He told me who would be showing up and at what time. Ron did a professional job, was timely, showed us what he did, and went above and beyond to give us options and solutions. Each was great at customer service. I recommend spending your hard earned money with this company. They know what they are doing and they are trustworthy.

Before I begin I want to say that I went through JP Frisch because they had a HIGH RATING and ALOT of people had reviewed them. I am no longer going through Angie's list after this experience, the 1500 was for LABOR and maybe an hour of electrical work. Gray reran my electrical for my dish washer and it was done nicely. This is a long post because it happened over a couple months time span. YES I rescheduled with Jon due to Home Depot not notifying me that something went wrong with the cabinet making. YES Jon was nice about rescheduling and working with me in that. EVERYTHING ELSE (MEANING THE ACTUAL INSTALLING OF CABINETS, DRYWALL) WAS A NIGHTMARE. They can probably work in NEW houses building with nice everything but I live in a South City old brick home. I had torn out the old cabinets and realized that the drywall behind them was not reusable. I had tried to get another company in to repair the drywall because I had asked JP Frisch to install cabinets and flooring, but there was nobody available, so I called JP Frisch and told them what was going on and asked if they could put in the drywall. They said yes, they had someone come the next week and install it. I had thought they had done a good job until they brought in another one of their employees Gray to install the cabinets. He said the wall was so unlevel that the guy that installed it should be fired and was surprised when I said that JP Frisch had done the drywall. He had hung the cabinets and the top touched the wall but the bottom corner could not due to it not be flush. He then points out that the cabinet corners were cracked, which from what I can tell happened when they were installed. The same crack a little bigger was on the other cabinet that he had hung up. He says it's easy to fix and he can do it when he comes in to do the flooring. I get a call from Jon and he tells me that Gray said the cabinets were already cracked and we discuss the wall not being level and he says he will stop by the house to take a look. Jon comes over, without a level and eyes the job and says everything is minor and they can fix it. I mention that the uneven wall cannot be fixed and shouldn't have been put in that way and his exact words were 'I was trying to help you out and framing out the 1 wall would have taken a week.' I don't see how framing a wall and putting up drywall would have taken a week but I was never told that them putting up drywall in a day and a half meant that the wall would not be flush. Jon says that he will have someone come and fix the cabinets but he thinks everything else can also be hacked to look ok. After he left I was unhappy that he had said he was helping me out by installing the drywall with the above result and I had called my father to tell him what was said. My father called him and asked what he thought of his workmanship and Jon told him that we were trying to get a free floor out of them. Not sure where that was coming from because that was never ever mentioned. I just wanted to get a kitchen that didn't look like I did the work myself, which is why we pay people that do it for a living or so I thought. So after my dad told me what Jon had said I decided not to have him do any more work in my house. UNTIL I had the countertop guy come in and tell me that my cabinets were 1 not level in the front and the edge of the granite would look awful AS WELL AS putting a level on top of 2 cabinets and showing me that they were too unlevel to put granite on them, that it would snap. So I called Jon and regretted it immediately. I wish I had it recorded when he yelled at me for telling my father everything that had happened. He then proceeded to tell me how he sees things, that he was going to 'work' with me by fixing their shady job even after my father had called him but that I was unresponsive. This was due to him telling my father that we were trying to get flooring for free. I went to Home Depot and hired them to install my flooring and purchased new cabinets side to fix what JP Frisch had cracked. He proceeded to chew me out after I told him that there were more issues than what was previously talked about, that the cabinets were so badly installed that the countertop could not be put on them. I can fit my index finger between the cabinet and the level. After treating me like a 5 year old he had the nerve to ask me if I expected his company to come in and FIX WHAT THEY HAD ORIGINALLY PUT IN' for FREE! Are you kidding me JON! Nothing about this has been free. I wanted to install cabinets and flooring and I HIRED YOU BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT THE STRESS! THAT IS ALL I GOT STRESS AND A KITCHEN LOOKING LIKE I DID IT MYSELF. I was contemplating not writing this review but after the phone call with Jon telling me that he was trying to decide if he should come fix what they did or just tell me 'good luck' it was needed so that other people know what they are getting into.

I have 220 boxes in the attic so we were not able to install a light in the attic and there was already flooring in the attic that went around the air handler. The electrical outlet caused the most problem. It should had been tested first to find out if it was a 110 or 220. Neither one of us thought about it supporting the radiant heaters which required 220.

Great, easy, would have him back again.

A whole day, starting early - a really good tradesman, knowledgable and careful.

It went fairly well. I guess they should be a little more, not flexible, but I just need them to do more things, because that was all the person they sent out would do. They couldn't do some of the things that needed done.

Purchased a Big Deal and scheduling was quick and easy. He arrived right on time, ready to go. We went through each item on our punch list, and figured out what was needed to complete each task. Everything was done well, and within good time.

Went well. He was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient with the time.

He was terrific. On time, professional and courteous. I hate not being able to do things around the house myself but these were things I simply wasn't able to fix and he did each of them quickly and easily without making me feel like it was a waste of time. I will definately use their services again.
