Description of Work: I hired JP Frisch Const. to remove our half bath vanity top and install a new vanity and faucet which I purchased. I also had them take out an existing bath light and put in a new one in the same place. They called right away to make the appointment and were on time. My only issues were that the sink faucet drain couldn't work because it was too close to the back splash. When he showed me the problem, he had already installed the faucet and when I looked at the box he ripped into it to get the faucet out so I wouldn't have been able to return it. I think he should have figured out that the faucet plug did not have enough room to pull out before he completely installed it and he shouldn't have destroyed the box it came in. In addition, after he installed the sink he brought to my attention that the front edge had a chip on the travertine. Again the sink should have been checked before it was installed. However, I don't know if it came that way or the installer chipped it. The sink did come completely packed in thick styrofoam and a large box, so there is no way to know where the chip came from.

Description of Work: Fixed a leaking bathtub, painted a front door, prepared a ceiling crack for future painting.

Description of Work: Purchased a 4 hr block of handyman services. Provider arrived promptly & I showed him small jobs we needed done, i.e., grouting tile, caulking door & windows, securing inset light, grouting garage. Apart from having to leave for 30 minutes to get some supplies, the work was completed in less than 2 hours. However, I should have checked the work more closely, because some items weren't done as well as expected. Some of the grouting separated & had to be redone a few days later. As well, some of the windows that were to be caulked were missed. Our technician seemed in a hurry to leave. I scored it a "B" because technician was prompt, but didn't introduce himself until I asked, seemed hurried and wasn't very thorough, and didn't feel we got the whole value of our purchase. Otherwise, the work was sufficient but incomplete.

Description of Work: Replaced parts for 2 separate ceiling fans (I had bought the parts); replaces front porch outside light (I has bought the new light); installed 4 new exterior lights around outside of my garage (I had bought the 4 new lights). Rozel was professional and knowledgeable about electrical wiring. Did a great job and we love the outside lights.

Description of Work: I purchased the general handyman big deal for the day. All of the work I needed done was outside. This included removing awnings, removing the remnants of a satellite dish and removing paint from my concrete porch. The first two items were completed, no surprise. I know the individual worked all day on the back porch but I would rather the company have told me that they were not going to be able to remove the paint. I had used the company several times in the past, generally, without a big deal. The last two times, using big deal, I have been disappointed and will not use again.

Description of Work: I received a call immediately after purchasing a deal and set up a date within the next week. Bob arrived on time and did a lot of handyman services for me but mostly working on inside doors we were having problems closing and a bi-fold door that would work. He did a great, professional job with everything we needed done within the 4 hour timeframe of the deal.

Description of Work: I bought one of the handyman for four hours deals. I had a bunch of "honeydo" type things that the handyman completed for me. They included hanging 8 shelves,fixing a fan/light in the bathroom, and fixing the handle on our oven door. Everything was done correctly and efficiently, and I would definitely use the service again.

Description of Work: Extremely professional company. Purchased on a weekend, had a call in less than 48 hours to set up a time to do the work. John came over to check out the projects and then sent out a handyman the following Saturday.

Description of Work: The handyman replaced a faucet, cleared a drain, identified the source of a leak (needed a roofing specialist), and did a couple small carpentry jobs. He was efficient, friendly, and professional.

Description of Work: Cleaned out the gutters, inspected the roof, repaired a leaking window, caulked around the garage doors, repaired some siding, and inspected the tile flooring we had put in last summer (2013). We are just waiting for the bid on regrouting and sealing the tile floor from 2013.
