This was an excellent experience!! The contractor arrived on time, demonstrated a deep understanding of the tasks at hand, and maintained such a high level of professionalism that we decided to call this company whenever we needed general contracting work again.

The gentlemen arrived on time and were courteous. We had them install a set of attic steps on the first visit and they did an excellent job. On the second visit they repaired a bath tub drain, electrical outlets , ran a water line for a new refrigerator and installed a light. We have been very pleased with their services.

J.P. Frisch was a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. Coming prepared and on time, they dealt with problems ranging from dry wall/ceiling water damage to running new gas lines for a cooktop to installing the cooktop. They tore out drywall, painted and patched, left everything looking great, and came in well under budget. I'll use them again in future, and would recommend them to anyone.

Patrick arrived on time both days. He was very considerate and thorough. I highly recommend.

They had to wait for a day without rain. Removed siding from rotten beams and corner post, built a support structure, replaced 2 beams and corner post. Then they replaced siding around beams and post, and caulked. The work took 3 men almost 2 days. I am extremely pleased with the process and price.

I purchased Jon Frisch's services through an Angie's list deal. Once I contacted Jon, he was prompt in returning my call. He stopped by the house as agreed to evaluate the project. He informed me that he could and would do the projects. He estimated (accurately) the time needed for the project and informed me that it would be a little more than I had paid for in the "deal." We agreed on a date for the work. Jon arrived early with an extra man and they were ready to work. I was nearby throughout the project and was impressed with their dedication to the job and to pleasing me. I am very happy with the finished project. I will use Frisch Construction again for future repairs and would recommend his services to anyone. Thank you Angie's List!

I came home on a sunny day to find the siding and trim replaced and the final touches of matched paint going on. so in addition to the repair it also involved purchase of siding, trim and paint. it was $100 above the special I had purchased, a better price than I had been expecting. cleanup was great. all done on the day and time agreed upon. sweet!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were very good and very professional. They took care of any of my concerns right away. They were very helpful. There had taken out the bathroom sink to get the tub in and we noticed the day after there was a leak that had leaked in the basement. I called John Frisch and he sent a worker out within 20 minutes. He, himself, came out within 2 hours to replace a valve that had lost its integrity after they put it in. The price was fair. They got here on time every time they said they would.

Gave several time options as requested, nothing but an email via Angie's List for me to call, I did such with no response. I wanted this done prior to cooler weather as part of the service would have been to paint an outside door. Now it is too cold to do this project. I chose this provider based on reviews that he was prompt in setting things up. Not the case here.

J.P. Frisch talked to me on the phone about what I need to have done and let me know what I could do in advance to make the job more efficient, like purchase the paint. On the day of the job, Patrick showed up. He was friendly, smart, efficient, and a good communicator, which is what you need in order to execute a complex project. We wanted to replace our closet bar with something sturdier and have shelves put in above it, as well as get the whole interior of the closet painted. Patrick talked us through the design and sketched it out, then went and bought the materials. He cut and painted the wood in our back yard and installed two sets of metal bars and two shelves in the closet. We are very happy with the work. It took longer than he expected, but he only charged us for the time originally estimated.

owner came by at agreed to time to give bid. His repairperson then came as scheduled, at 7:30 on the dot, and worked efficiently to do the re framing, drywalling and then repainting in one day.

We had a wonderful experience working with JP Frisch. We were contacted within a day of purchasing the special offer. They came out for an initial consultation and provided an estimate for the work to be completed. The offer came with 6 man-hours of labor and our job estimate about 10 man-hours. Per the offer we purchased, the hourly rate for hours exceeding the offer were pre-determined, so there were no surprises. The work was completed in exactly the amount of time estimated and the work was done well. They were very professional and courteous and left the work area clean. They also went the extra mile and repaired a door issue inside my home that was not part of the scope - and it did NOT result in any extra charge. I highly recommend JP Frisch and would definitely use them again.

I contacted Jon and he answered the phone! I know it doesn't seem like much, but it is very helpful to be able get someone on the phone to get work scheduled. He gave me a bid over the phone as to the number of hours he thought it would take to complete my jobs. I had another company that came out to look at the work and give me a bid. He was considerably higher than Jon's. I contacted Jon a second time (he answered again!) with questions and concerns about the bid....compared to the other one. I felt confident after our conversation that Jon would work with me to make sure that I was not paying more than I was comfortable with. The other John arrived right on time and went right to work in a very professional and productive manner. He checked in with me as I requested to let me know how he was coming along and how much longer he thought it would be. At my request, John stayed for 10 hours! He worked hard the whole time he was here. I'm pleased with the work he did!

Owner John called as expected, scheduled to our convenience, and handyman Patrick showed up on time and worked extremely hard for two days. (The second day he came back was two days later on a Saturday, which he offered so that we wouldn't have to wait 2-3 weeks until his next available week-day slot to finish the list.) He took care of every single thing on a detailed list, did a great job, and cleaned up after himself. He's smart, very hard-working, very respectful, and trustworthy. Fair price. Worth every dollar. I can walk around the house, and everything slightly broken that was irritating me is now fixed. We will call them again next time.

john scheduled our appt right away when and confirmed the day prior to tell me who was coming and at what time. Patrick showed up right on time, was very professional and did a great job, even while working in the rain!

The process was great John knocked a lot of the items out in a timely manner work appears well done, the last item replacing the kitchen faucet was the killer took 4 additional hours and charged every minute. Ouch!! at $50 an hour it was a very expensive kitchen faucet.

He told us what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost. He kept me up-to-date on everything. He did a good job.

Honestly, I cannot evaluate their work because the never called me back to schedule even though I had purchased the big deal from Angie's List. Fortunately, Angie's List managed to refund my money. I waited for weeks to hear back and never did...

It went very well. Patrick used scrap lumber I had, which was very economical for me. He was pleasant and efficient and cleaned up afterward. I felt very comfortable explaining what I wanted.

Worked fast and clean. Really knew what he was doing. The process was way too tricky for a DIY project. We are glad we hired them. Later we felt the shower handle was too loose he came back fast and tightened it. Very professional.

I bought a big deal from this provider for handyman work, a half day. I e-mailed the provider and never heard from them. When I found a phone number I called and I was asked to e-mail because he was busy with his family, which I understand. I e-mailed 3 more times, called a couple more and never got a response. I paid for services that were never delivered on.
