Light installation went fine, and the painting looks good. They were unable to fix the squeak in the floor.

The worker arrived as scheduled. The job took longer than what I had prepaid so I wrote a check for the difference. The gentleman was very conscientious and seemed to work at a steady pace. He did a nice job of cleaning up when he was done and he wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied with his work. I would use them again.

My experience with JP Frisch was great. They showed up on time and did all the tasks I needed to get done around the house. Even helped figure out how to modify a light that needed hung so it didn't hang down so low. Completely professional and I would recommend using this firm. I would use them again when the need arises. Thank you so much!

Purchased the $149 wood rot Angie's Deal to repair a small section of rotted wood in a historic home cornice. He contacted me the same day and came out to look at the job a couple days after that. We had an appointment set up for 2 weeks after that. They showed up on time and completed the work well within the 4 hours that my Deal coupon included. The repair looks good, although not perfect since there was some intricate detail moulding they had to match up against, which probably would have taken a lot more time to get perfect. They used Bondo to make the repair, and I was charged $25 for it after the job was complete since the deal did not include materials. Overall, I am happy since it was work I could not have done myself (too high up).

We were provided with a quotation after an inspection by Mr. Frisch. Patrick showed up ontime as scheduled. Reviewed the work that needed to be done. Explained in detail what needed to be done. Work in progress and plan was reviewed by Mr. Frisch. Completed the work after obtaining materials. Spent almost two days on the job. Reviewed the work at completion for our satisfaction. Price was probably a bit higher than some others, but worth it for the excellent and professional job.

After chatting with my husband, they decided that the best course would be to put molding around the entire porch to cover the gap. The molding looks awesome and really dresses up the edge nicely. He also painted the porch roof and it now looks better than it has in ages. Great job!

He arrived at the scheduled time and looked the job over. After that we told him what we wanted to be done. We talked about what had to be replaced. It so happened all the steps and rails needed replacing. He proceeded to remove all the old wood and clean up the area where he had to work. He had to go to the hardware store to buy all the wood that needed to be used to replace the steps. He did a beautiful job and we were very happy with him and his work. The gentlemen that did the job was very nice. And kept us up to date about what was going on.

They came out the next day after I called them. They were really very good. They did not charge us more than the $149 deal. In fact the guy came back on a Saturday to finish the job on our ceiling and he did not charge me for that anymore.

He did a good job. He fixed the gate in my fence to my driveway. I had issues with my garage door closing and opening which he fixed. I had an ongoing issue with my toilet that he also fixed. I have a window where you needed to twist a knob in order to open and close it, he made it so I no longer have to deal with the knob. One gentleman did all of the work, I had to pay for an extra two hours to get all of projects done which was well worth it.

John called me back and set up the appointment and was very understanding and helpful when I needed to postpone it for one week. Patrick came out and worked all day. He is a wonderful young man who has completed work for me before. I have an extensive remolding project coming up and will not make any other calls for bids. I will go directly to JP Frisch.

This was a list I have been trying to get done for a long time. They sent Patrick. He was efficient, polite, and did a great job. I would happily use them again. In addition to doing a great job he also showed up on time!

We called John at the last minute to get his help with wrapping up a few small projects left undone by another handyman needed to get our house on the market on 2/28. We called John late in the afternoon of 2/26 and he and one of his crew members, Patrick, arrived at our home at 7am on the 28th to scope out the work and to get started. Patrick worked tirelessly all day on the 28th and had everything finished to our very relieved satisfaction by 5:30pm. Patrick cleaned up after himself and left the house in good order. We will definitely use this company again!

Patrick arrived at our house right on time. He was very polite right off the bat. I took him out to the backyard assessed the problem and indicated that he needed to go to the hardware store in order to replace a 4x4 post which had sheared off. The estimate for how long the job would take was accurate, which was 6 hours. The project itself was difficult, in my opinion. The fence was one that was poorly constructed, warped, and falling apart. Not only that, but it was bitter cold; the temperature did not go over 25 degrees. Patrick did an outstanding job. He was thorough and very professional, and throughout the project remained pleasant and enjoyable to be around. I plan to use this company more, and have already started my list of other projects that I'll gladly call them for!

I thought it looked good. But when the person came to spray paint the cabinets and island he pointed out a number of problems. Should have been done in birch rather than pine (I didn't ask to cut corners), the installer used many more tiny nails than were required (the painter said it looked like it had been shot with a shotgun), and a heavy ridge of caulk was used between the base and wainscotting which had to be removed. All the extra work took about 3 hours. It looked fine to someone who didn't know any better but it wasn't done properly.

They were very accommodating, it was easy to schedule and they called back right away. The person was very good and completed the work withing the time frame he indicated he would. They’re very accommodating and reasonable with pricing. It was well worth the money spent.

Everything went well. Worker was prompt and efficient. The job was bid on a flat rate for 2 days of work. It actually turned out to be more like 1 and 1/2 days. I thought it was a little pricey. I felt like I paid for 2 days worth of work and could have had him do something else for the half day left over. Overall, however, he did a good job and was very professional.

I have been very pleased with the work they have done so far. I still have some more time left with them in regards for the Big Deal. When he came out the first time he did a list of things for me. He put together a bookshelf. He also adjusted the doors for the winter time to keep the cold out. He installed a ceiling fan too in our bedroom after I went to the store and purchased it. He also did some other quick little jobs too. I have been very pleased with them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I spent about $80 above the price of the deal.

The service was fine. They did a good job. The guys were great to work with and they were knowledgeable. They were competent and I would use them again.

The owner was very nice and kept checking back on the progress of the job and both workmen were friendly and did a great job. I would definitely use their services again. They said they would be here to start at 7 and they were here each morning at 7.

The contractor was on time to the job and performed well. He was professional and easy to talk to.

Not pleased with the amount of work completed....they were small..small jobs.
