I was very happy to find he was better than my regular handyman. He is better because he gets it done and gets out... More than twice as fast and anyone bother"s uncle. This is how I am going to do the rest of my projects.... NO DRAMA

It went great. The handyman (I am so sorry that I forgot his name) was on time and worked fast. I had him redo the caulking around my windows where they had separated from the drywall. He also patched some drywall. Did a great job and will use them again. Also- I bought the deal on a Friday and they were available the following Monday.

I've used him quite often. It was a great work performed. It was very timely and professional. I am very happy with him. His price is very competitive.

Not a lot to say. Jon sent Adam and another guy for the heavy stuff. After furniture moving and rug laying, the other guy went to another job, and Adam did what we asked...things we couldn't do for ourselves. This is the second $189 deal we've had with JP Frisch and couldn't be happier. Have recommended the company to our daughter for some thing she needs done.

I bought the 4-hour "Deal" but before I made the purchase, I emailed the owner through Angie's List to ask a few questions. He responded in less than 24 hours with the answers. Zell, the handyman, arrived promptly and we went over my list. He brought in his tools and got started right away. Zell was very friendly and professional and he performed the tasks efficiently. In addition, he offered good suggestions regarding some future projects I have in mind. Zell finished my list with about 15 minutes to spare in the 4 hour Deal and he asked what else he could do. I tried to think of additional tasks but couldn't think of any...however, I am more than satisfied with the work done and the price paid. I'm already thinking ahead to additional projects I can hire this company to do for me!

Shutters look great. shelves in laundry room are great, all lights installed are great. Items last on the list were the ones that weren't rated as high. Laborer was very punctual and considerate and made helpful suggestions.

They were great. They were really good. They didn't charge me more than the big deal. I used them since then. They were prompt. He's a person you feel safe with. You don't feel uncomfortable. He's very professional. They didn't try to upsell you or try to make you do more work than the alotted time. They're very nice people to work with.

John quickly called back and showed up promptly to provide an estimate. At the time, we wanted a quote on two projects but he let us know that we could do one of them ourselves and explained how to go about it. Great honesty and helped save us money! John quoted a range on the door project, and his employee showed up promptly at 7AM the next Monday to begin. The worker was professional, provided updates as we went, and finished the job as estimated. (It was a little higher due to material costs.) My only complaint would be that the door doesn't latch completely now and the jam isn't completely flush with the wall, but my house is old so I suspect I need a new door anyway and I can use caulk around the door. Would hire again due to honesty, professionalism and punctuality.

This is the second time we've used this company and both experiences were great. They show up on time, are professional, and provide a great service. We have recommended to our friends and will continue to do so in the future.

We paid the $329 for the handyman for the day. We made it very clear what jobs we wanted tackled. The doorbell and master closet were done quickly. Wood for the attic seemed to be an issue. The first Home Depot did not have enough in supply and the carpenter had to go to another Home Depot that was not close. Picking up the wood seem to take a large chunk of time, yet this was figured into the 8 hours. Needless to say, the job was not finished on day one and the carpenter worked several more days in order to finish the job. We were never told that these additional hours would be$60 per hour. It would have been much cheaper to have received a bid on the job, which we have always done in the past. We were shocked when told how much the attic cost us. We were able to negotiate a small amount off the price, but still paid over $1,000 for the job. When the job was not completed on the first day, we should have been contacted immediately so that a bid could have been established or at least told the per hour cost. We feel as if we were lured in by the $329 so that we could be gauged for a job that should have not taken as long as it did. With an old house in need of numerous repairs, we never thought we would be wasting so much money on having boards put in at attic.

Throughout, Ron arrived early and stayed late, and was the principal in all the work to be done. He was highly experienced and diverse, precise, skilled and professional, and took great pride in doing each job the right way. Jon, the owner, was also highly experienced, offered excellent ideas, was consistently on top of the project and was regularly on site. Additional workmen, particularly Greg and Roselle, were also very skilled and professional. We will contact this company first for future needs.

I bought a deal on Angies List for 8 hours of handyman work, knowing my list would likely take longer than 8 hours. We scheduled two days. The provider ran into a scheduling problem, but called me in advance and we resolved it by having two people come on one day. It worked out great for me. The Angie's deal was great, and the price for the additional hours ($60/hour) was reasonable. Both of the men who did the work were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They successfully completed my list in less time than estimated, and did a very good job. I'm very pleased with the work and I'm glad to have a reliable handyman service I can call in the future.

We bought a big deal for 4 hours handyman services for $189. Normally, Frisch techs start work at 7 a.m., and that's too early both for us and for our building rules & regs. Jon suggested an "add-on" arrangement where if a tech got done with a job early, he would come after it. That happened and we were assigned Adam the next day after the scheduling call. He did the work described above, efficiently and professionally, running into problems along the way that he described and suggested solutions. When the 4 hours was up, Adam came to us to note that and ask whether we wanted him to continue at the usual Frisch rate of $60 or buy another deal. The key detail here is that he noted that what was left to be done wouldn't take another 4 hours, more like 1.5-2. That was professional in that he could have either just continued or sold another big deal we didn't need. We're so pleased that we're having Frisch finish our to-do list next week at their regular rates. I heartily recommend them.

There were no additional charges. It was fine. He came to do what he needed to do. We haven't had any issues. They were fine.

I had purchased a big deal for the service and it turned out good. The big deal was for $329, and there were no additional charges. They were cordial, they forgot one thing that we wanted them to do, other than that, everything was great, and we liked them. We gave them a list of things to accomplish, and I walked them through the list when they showed up in the morning, and there was one item that hadn't been done at the end of the day. I was on phone when they left, so I didn't get a chance to stop them, and we didn't do a walk through before they left.

John contacted me within 24 hours of my purchasing the Big Deal. We scheduled a mutually agreeable time for the service. Rozelle came to do the service and was friendly and helpful from the beginning. I had a number of honey-do items. We started at the top of the list and reviewed what needed to be done. He was extremely efficient, finishing the must-do's on the list very quickly. I was able to get more accomplished than I had planned. through it all, he was helpful and explained anything that I had questions about. I would highly recommend Rozelle and J P Frisch and plan to use them again.

Showed up on time with the apparent tools for the job, but the overall drywall repair quality was poor and I had to redo a good percentage of the work myself. The individual was very nice and even came back on another date to sand, free of charge, but the finish product was still unacceptable. While JP Frisch may be a good company, and I'm sure they do quality work, Drywall repair doesn't seem to be in their wheelhouse.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I needed some work done quickly in order to get an occupancy permit for a home in University City. John (the contractor) schedule was full, but he was able to arrange to get the work done within the time frame I needed. Their work was outstanding! The basement had flooring that was in good condition, but had been improperly installed and the I received a recommendation to just remove it and start all over again. I was hoping to be able to keep some of the current flooring. John's crew came in and not only were they able to install the floor the way it was intended, they were able to keep all of the current flooring, correct the prior poor installation, and make it look fantastic, and it passed the occupancy inspection! Everything was nice and neat when they left, and they hauled away the old appliances as well. I am planning to use John and his team from JR Frisch Construction Services, Inc. to do work at my home as well! I can see why they consistently get a high rating from customers on Angie's List. They deserve it!

It went extremely well and we appreciate the generous Angie's List Deal that J.P. Frisch offered us. Jon, the Owner, responded promptly, scheduled the work at the time we requested, and followed-up to insure our satisfaction. Patrick, his Carpenter, arrived on-time, performed the work in the estimated time-frame, and cleaned-up the area. Patrick did an amazing job of matching the size & shape of our dental-molding exactly (while working outside in very cold weather). We highly recommend J.P. Frisch Construction Services and have already scheduled another job with them.

First appointment rescheduled due to car accident in route which was understandable. The guy was an hour late for the rescheduled appointment. Once here, he was respectful and kind and went to work quickly and efficiently. All jobs appear to be well done.

unable to reach contractor.. when i first signed up, i was given 3 time periods in the following week to choose from. i received an email message saying that contractor would call me to confirm the date. i later received phone call from contractor trying to reach me. we played telephone tag for about 1.5 weeks. he never called during business hours of 8-6 pm either. i am tired of trying to reach contractor. i later found out that my credit card was charged immediately for this deal. this should not be standard practice. for angie's list. it appears that this deal was oversold, and i am no longer have time off from work to get the work done. this is is not the way to sell deals angie. now i have to wait 7-10 business days to get a refund. thanks for the waste of time angie.

Rod was prompt and good at the work he did for me. I had damage to a screen on the porch from birds flying into it. Rod took down the old one and put in a new one. The screen is good and taut now. The hose reel had been pulled down so Rod put in some stronger bolts which should make it stay up this time. He took down our three awnings which for him looks easy but is a problem for us. He caulked a gutter leak. Rod cut and added two pieces of wood to our Kitchen table which makes it very sturdy now. Again he made it look easy but would not have been for us. .
