Excellent. Tony came out himself to bid - which was much less than multiple other quotes I had received - and was on the job the next morning. My house and porch look MUCH better than they did beforehand, very high quality craftmanship, and the workers (Tony was there himself too) were very polite.. I look forward to using Irish Construction for future projects.

Job was completed quickly and the finished product looks nice. Two things were not originally completed to our satisfaction but they came back out the next day and fixed them. I would recommend Irish Construction fully.

As stated above I have yet to get any providers to give me quotes in which to return this providers request.

Owner Tony Monaghan was extremely cordial, he and his 4 men arrived promptly and worked to complete the job in one day. I am very happy with the job they performed. They cleaned up everything and were very pleasant. I certainly will hire them again!

I called Irish to setup an appointment for a quote based on reviews from Angie's list. Irish was one of (3) bids I got for the work. When I called an actual person answered the phone. It wasn't someone cell phone or an answering service. She took my information and then promptly set up a time for Tony, the owner, to come out and look at my projects. A day or so later I got a call back to say Tony could meet me earlier than the original appoint if I was available. We rescheduled and Tony showed up on time. We walked through the two jobs and he gave me verbal quotes on the spot. Access to the back of the garage is limited due to fence lines, etc...so he gave me a range on that portion of the work. After getting bids from the other companies Tony's price was in line and I called to setup a time to do the work. Again they were prompt in setting a time to start, with minimal lead time. There was some confusion between Tony and the office on the final quote value, but we worked that out without issue. A few days before the scheduled start date I got a call back to say their previous job had been completed early and if I want to they could move up the start date. We agreed and Tony and his crew showed up promptly at 8am to start the work. They knocked out the chimney work in one day and then got started on the garage. Upon closer inspection the garage was much worse than anticipated. Alot of lose stucco. Tony walked me through the additional work and we agreed on a change order to complete. The garage work was difficult in that the fence lines meant his men needed to go up and over the flat roof garage to do the work. In addition he had a 'challenging' neighbor to deal with as well since part of the work requried him to stradle the properly line. In the end he finished the next day and did a good job of cleaning up. Tony pointed out a couple of other items on the Stucco and on the brick patio that he could fix as well. Considering this job went over budget due to the worse than anticipated garage, we'll probably hold off on the other work for now, but I'll definitely call Tony back when we get ready to do the work.

Can't say enough good things about the excellence of Irish Construction. When you hire Tony and crew, you get speedy work, a quality job, and great price. Quality, price and speed are a rare find in a construction company, will work again. Tony was very responsive, professional, and tells it like it is. Other companies gave me ridiculous quotes or wouldn't follow up. Most of them wouldn't book work for 2-3 months out. Tony has enough crews to come running when you need them. You won't get pressure tactics or upselling either, these guys are worth every penny.

I would highly recommend Irish Construction to anyone needing concrete work. They were friendly, punctual, efficient, polite, courteous and quality workmanship . They were very careful around my plants and cleaned up the area. Will definitely use them again.

Price was more than double what it should have been. I would think this contractor would have done a great job, but we could not afford the outlandish price. I think they would be better suited to larger jobs, not a small job.

Irish Construction been very responsive to concerns. They obviously want to do a good job and satisfy the customer. They worked very quickly. Their workmen were polite and courteous. They cleaned well and left the job site better than when they arrived. They noticed an area on the house that needed some minor tuck-pointing and did that work without added charge. There were no hidden costs or surprises.

They were very neat, friendly and took great care to work carefully and quickly. After the job was done they cleaned up around where they worked. They left the space cleaner than when they came. They were able to give me information about what they were doing and suggestions on how to prevent the problem from happening in the future. Their office staff was responsive, friendly and organized. We would definitely use them again.

They gave me a quote after I e-mailed them pictures, this was very convenient. They did the job the very next no waiting, some other companies I called said I would have to wait for 2 months. They were on time and asked if I wanted to fix another chipping area on my porch. I said that I did not because of the extra expense, The owner of Irish Construction said that they would do it for free just because it would make the project look better. Can you say amazing customer service.

I contacted Irish Construction early in the week and was able to have an estimate that same day. Tony came to my house and did the bid straight away, working around my job and time availibility. I felt like his work experience was on point from the moment we met and the job was underway and complete prompty thereafter. Tony was forward and honest from day 1 and remained reliable and professional from start to finish. He checked back after the work was complete to make sure I was happy and I was. Everything looked great and was finished on schedule and the price was fair. I was pleased with Irish Construction and would use their services again. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends in the future.

Irish Construction was very punctual, worked efficiently and did quality work. Tony, the owner, was very consciencious and ensured my furniture and things were protected. I felt he was fair in his pricing. He had 2 guys working for him and made sure they were off to a good start. They did an excellent job! I am very pleased with how they worked and the end result. My ceilings look beautiful! I highly recommend them.

Irish Construction was referred to my by my realtor. I had just bought the house and needed the chimney repaired and a basement crack fixed. It was an urgent job since it was raining often and heavy at the time. I contacted Irish Construction on a Friday. Tony was at my house the next day (Saturday) to give me an estimate. The job was completed within a couple of days. They did a fantastic job. Showed up on time, completed the job on time, cleaned up. Tony looked over the whole house to see if there are any areas needing repair. He pointed a couple things that needed attention, but gave me tips how to address myself instead of hiring a contractor. I was very impressed by the level and quality of service. Highly recomended. In fact, I just hired Toni to do a plaster job inside the house.

Cheapest by far. Prompt scheduling and very detailed in clean up of the mess. Results look great.

The quotes and amount of work kept changing, where it was much less than what I thought till in the end being exactly what I expected. The tuckpointing was done by squeezing mortar through a tube which went very fast but overflowed and looked incredibly messy. Mortar was left lying everywhere and what's worse is he thought it was a great job. He never cleaned up. He said he needed payment in cash to give me such a great deal. In the end, it cost more than other quotes I had gotten. Never pay in cash! The worst contractor I have ever hired.

They seemed nice and professional and they were on time. At one point, something that they did kind of seemed to dry too quickly and it cracked a little bit and they came back the next day without any problem and fixed it. They were very easy to work with. Update: November 2014: Their work did not hold up well. Cracked within a few months. Stucco pattern on repaired areas was significantly different than rest of house.

Great service!! I was in a bind and needed tuckpointing and repairs completed on my chimney immediately. Other companies that I called wanted to me to wait almost a week just to get an estimate. I called Irish Contstruction and left a voice message on a Friday afternoon and they called me back by that evening. I described my situation and what I needed done. I sent them pictures of my chimney and they were able to come out the very next morning and complete the job. It was raining on the day I needed service, but they watched the weather and when it was clear for a long enough period they completed the job immediately. And not only did they complete it quickly, but also professionally. Everyone I spoke to, including the owner, were very courteous and professional. I really appreciate them fitting me in their schedule and offering such great service. I highly recommend Irish Construction.

I was getting estimates for work concrete work I need done. Everything went very well until they showed up. I gave them the back story that the concrete is busted up due to improper gutter installation, and that I am involved in a legal battle with the people who installed the gutters. As soon as I said this they tried to charge me $100 for the estimate. They stated that they would not get any work out of the deal. I said it was just like any other job and I will have this work done. They said they didn't want to be involved in the legal battle. I explained that they were not involved in the legal battle all they are doing is providing an estimate. Any way, I told them to take a hike and I wouldn't be paying $100. They wasted their own time, and will not be considered for the job or any future jobs.

Tony was easy to reach and very responsive. He was generous with his time and did not pressure us to do additional work. In fact, he had great advice and good ideas. Even though we had a small job for Tony, I felt that he was interested in earning our loyalty for future needs and that impressed me. We will definitely use Tony's company Irish Construction in the future for tuckpointing, concrete work, masonry, and plaster work. I'd be comfortable recommending him to my friends.

Tony showed up on time and completed the work in less time than originally promised. His crew was courteous and helpful and cleaned up when they were done. They really seemed to care about their work and it showed when they were done.

Contacted this company a few months ago to provide me with an estimate for stamped concrete. Tony came out and an estimate was provided. I misplaced the estimate so I contacted the company to have another one sent out. They could not find the estimate. I think its odd that a company does not keep a copy of estimates on hand. Anyway I decided to schedule an appointment to have Tony come back out and provide me with another estimate. I spoke with Samantha the receiptionist and she was very nice. She informed me that Tony is booked 6 months out and not only can he not do the work for me at this time but he was not even interested in coming by again to look at my project. She said he didnt have time. Its shocking that a company would turn down work in this economy. Based on the providers response I believe not using them for my project was a wise choice. Companys need to start realizing even verbal reviews effect you reputation. I evaluate a company from begining to end. From the first intial conversation til completion of the project. So just because work was not performed it does not change my opinion. I think most consumers would agree. First impressions are everything! Not only am I positive that his company did in fact come out. I also have corresponding emails (that I would be happy to show Tony) that we exchanged prior to him coming out. If you do not do stamped I can not for the life of me understand why you told me that you did or why you even bothered to come out and bid the work if you dont "specialize in stamped". And to be correct the reason you said you could not do my project was because you were "too busy" not because you dont do stamped concrete. Im sure you knew when you came out to give the bid that you were overloaded with jobs. When I called to schedule the appointment that would have been the time to decline the work. You wasted my time because I took time off work to meet with you. You may have a few satisfied customers on Angies List but Im not one of them. Perhaps you quality of work was good enough for those customers but you customer service skills definately needs improvement. As a business owner you should not reply to feedback by saying you are sick of us. Perhaps you should not have joined Angies List if you were not prepared for consumers to give their honest opinion about your company. I am not your only poor rating so that should tell you something.

Crew showed up and we discussed work to be done. They took pictures and promised to email them to me for review. Did not receive an email for two weeks. I called and left messages and finally heard back from someone in their office, who did apologize, and finally received the pictures. I had, by that time, hired someone else.

We scheduled the work to be done on the following Monday morning. As the week progressed, the weather predictions showed a strong storm expected on Monday. Tony called and asked if his team could do the work on Sunday morning instead (one day earlier) - WOW!! His team arrived early Sunday morning as promised and I was introduced to the 3 workers....each extremely polite! They not only finished all the work in one day, but also finished additional work including some tuck-pointing on the front porch and also resurfaced the front porch/steps. The team was professional, polite, hard workers and everything was swept/sprayed/cleaned up perfectly when everything was done. I am VERY pleased with Irish Construction and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. Since my house is 104 years old, I can almost predict I will need them again for another job soon. Without warning, a portion of our ceiling on an outdoor patio collapsed. Drywall, insulation, plaster...everywhere. We called Irish Construction for a quote and they were there that afternoon to give a bid. They arrived on time and gave me a quote, on site. Several days later, we called to confirm that we wanted them to perform the work. Tony said they had a few other jobs but should get to ours by the end of the week. They showed up early on a Thursday morning to perform the work and, although they did not call in advance, I was fortunately at home to give them a deposit. The work was completed in one day. The ceiling is like new. We are very happy with the quality of the work performed and would use Irish Construction in the future.
