Tony's team was responsive every time I reached out to them including the original call in to describe my problem. I emailed them a picture of the area that needed work, and he gave me an estimate almost immediately. Upon arrival on the day of work, his crew showed up, and began work immediately, and urgently. They worked quickly, and with purpose in order to get the job done on the same day, and I was pleased with the job that they did. The reused much of the brick that came down after ensuring that they were quality, and replaced those that couldn't be reused with very similar bricks. They also pointed out an area of my house that would potentially need additional attention in the near future, and it's likely that I'll call them next summer to do that work. I would recommend them to friends/family for this type of work in the future.

I called for an estimate on tuck pointing telling the person I was in the process of buying the house. Tony showed up early, when he found out I didn't own the house he rudely chewed me out saying he wouldn't give me an estimate because there was no guarantee he would get the job and he shouldn't be there because we didn't have the owner's permission, I was wasting his time, etc, etc. I explained that we did have permission and that there is never a guarantee that you're going to get a job when you give an estimate. He then called his office and chewed out the gal who answers the phone. When I started to walk away he calmed down a little and told me he would give me an estimate after all. Took a quick walk around the house and said $1000. I don't recommend, life's too short.

All went well. The exterior foundation wall (approx. 40' x 7') looks good and is now ready for paint. The rear patio cracks are now repaired and should prevent any further settling. The sagging front wall also looks good and as a result of some heavy lifting and some quick drying hydrolic cement, the wall should not settle further. The gap that was opening is now gone and after a few weeks of curing the repair should not be noticeable. This part of the job looks especially good because the crew removed and reset several surrounding bricks so the space between all bricks is he same. While doing the contracted work, Tony and his crew noticed seveal small holes in the driveway and one hole on the front porch which they reparied at no charge.

Work went great. Showed up on time, completed the job and left the site as clean as when they arrived.

I was very satisfied with the work that Tony and his crew performed. The owner of company Tony came to my home twice prior to starting the job to ensure a detailed scope of work and estimate. I received numerous bids from other highly rated Tuckpointing companies but I decided to go with Irish Construction because I valued their craftsmanship and fair price. After seeing the job that was done my neighbors, in the days proceeding, contracted Tony to complete work on their homes. I will definitely use Irish Construction in the future and would recommend you stop your Angies List search and call Tony if you need work done.

Tony was very responsive to our very tight schedule with a variety of masonry projects. His workers were skilled and kept a clean work site. The were also very polite and good to work with. The work was done very efficiently and very well. One small area to be tuck pointed was missed, but was promptly finished after a call.

I usually never write review but this time I must say I will. Irish construction came within 24h after my call, and were ready to do the work on my home the following day. Everything went well. The team and manager surveyed several times my home to ensure no other deficiencies could be found ... they found two cracks on the outside of my old home, ground it, and tuck-pointed it in a snap in addition they cement my basement entry way. The team was cordial, on-time, professional, and always listening ... all that with a little accent from Ireland!

It was fantastic. They did all of that in 3 days. The workers were very professional and did a great job!

Amazing group. Came out and gave us a bid on our old neglected house we recently purchased. The main chimney was in terrible shape with a lot of holes in the brick and stone all over the house and garage. It is an old house with steep pitched roofs, a real challenge. They showed up on time with a crew of 5 that obviously knew masonry work. They had the work done, cleaned up, all in the same day. A very pleasant, hardworking group, we highly recommend them.

Irish Construction re-caulked the ? crete expansion joints in my driveway, patio and sidewalk. They were quick to come with an estimate and to schedule the work. I'm quite happy with the result.

Tony Monaghan, the owner, and his crew came out to survey the work needed to be done. He gave me what I believe to be a very fair estimate and indicated it would take approximately 1 week to complete. The next day, which was a Saturday, the crew came and did the demolition work. They returned on Monday, the Labor Day holiday, to work on the foundation and came the next couple of days to do the foundation support work and to repair the basement steps and the patio. Each and every day that the crew worked on my property, they NEVER left a mess. The areas around the foundation, basement steps and patio were always left clean after they completed the work for the day. The entire job was completed within 6 days. In addition, Mr. Monaghan was very patient with payment from me. He began the work before I could pay half the balance due. He worked with me and made sure I was satisfied with their work before I paid the remainder of the balance due. Without a doubt, I plan on using Irish Construction in the future. They certainly perform high quality work, and Mr. Monaghan's crew are hard workers who seem to take pride in a job well done. Overall, Irish Construction went above and beyond in their efforts to produce a high quality, professional job.

The entire process was really professional and easy going. It started with a call to the office, where I spoke with a really respectful and professional young lady. During the call the receptionist set me up for an appointment the very next day. The owner of the company actually came out and provided an exceptional estimate in comparison to a number of estimates that I had received. Not only did the owner come out, but he was actually a half hour early and was really patient with waiting until I got home to provide the estimate. The work began a day earlier than promised and was performed exceptionally well. In fact the owner came back out after I got home from work to make sure that everything was up to my liking.

You know the old saying, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Well Tony of Irish Construction is living proof of how to effect that change. After I discovered a couple of small cracks in a repair job I had Irish Construction do last week, I emailed Tony with my concern. He came out the very next day prepared to "redo the whole job," if I thought he needed to. As it turned out the small cracks did not to comprise the integrity of the repair in any way. But Tony quickly offered to smooth them over with compounding mixture to improve the general aesthetic of the area. When the work was finished I was thrilled because now it looked even better than it had prior to needing work in the first place. Before tossing the left over compound and putting everything back into the truck however Tony said, "You know, I could give you a good deal on that walk way while I am here." After demonstrating how willing he was to ensure my satisfaction on the job he had just completed, and telling me just how much I could save, I decided to green light that project too. And with Tony and Irish Construction on the job I know I will be totally satisfied with my walk way too.

Very happy with the service. They worked very hard until the job was complete. The 3 gentlemen who did the work were very professional. The owner was very accommodating to my needs. The interior plastering was great and matched up with the existing wall. The exterior tuck pointing color matched up perfectly. I would recommend this company to any one. I enjoyed the personality of the worker and especially the owner.

Tony, the owner, came out on Wednesday, 9-2-15 to assess the wall. After explaining the work required to effect the repair he gave me a firm price for the entire job. This was important to me because I have a fixed income and therefore find "time and material" qutoes problematic. Tony then explained that he was finishing a job near my home and if I could be a bit flexible about the time he could do the job the very next day. Needless to say I was more than happy with that arrangement. Although not inexpensive-plaster work never is- Tony's price was fair, the work, which involved several steps and many hours looks well done, and the area where the work was performed was thoughly cleaned before the crew left.

Irish Construction was contracted to fix cracks and add a finishing coat to an existing stucco job on my home. Tony the owner was given the job because he told me the cracks would be fixed and i wouldn't need to paint because he would dye the stucco. I would only be required to add a sealent coat after a year. He told me the job would take 3 to 4 days and it his crew would clean up after the job was completed. The first day of the job went well, he has a full crew working hard, everything looked good. The second day the crew was smaller, the third day even smaller. As the days went on the job quality became very poor. After about 4 days the crew of 7 became a crew of 3. Tony had been firing people each day or crew members quit. The workmanship at this point was very poor, there was no consistency of the stucco, it was clear where one person worked on the job verses another. Stucco splatter was everywhere, on the roof, on the windows and doors, and all over the homes brick. Tony rarely showed up and when he did he would walk around and tell me what a great job his guys were doing. I told him my concerns, he didn't seem phased. about 8 days into job, Tony demanded more money. The original contract stated I paid 1/2 down, 1/4 after 3/4 of the job was complete and the final 1/4 after the job was complete. After Tony had been paid 3/4 of the job, he wanted more money to finish the work. I told him no, he walked off the job leaving 1000's of dollars in damages to my home. He later sent me an email telling me he was going to sue me for breach of contract and put a lien on my home. Tony's crew would frequently tell me that they didn't feel they were doing a very good job and were told to work faster to get fired. It was troubling to hear this, but sure to their word, by about day 7, Tony had fired the entire crew and replaced them with people that told me that they had never done stucco work. Tony himself is very brash and pushy, I didn't have a good feeling about him, but his rates were reasonable and he was free to start the following day. I should have listened to my gut on this one.

Tony-the owner- is very client focused. He even had his crew wait (on a Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend) until I could get home to make sure the repairs were to my satisfaction. They also did a great job or cleaning up and putting everything back neatly! Great experience.

Tony was great, very responsive, very amenable to suggestions and requests, very quick to ensure satisfaction of work and timing and scheduling and everything else. Went above & beyond to fix up additional issues that he noticed; made no complaint about having to return to finish and check things to my specification. The only (minor) exception on quality was the brick and mortar involved in setting the basement support pillars; when I asked for more mortar he said they were strong, but some bricks came loose the next day.

Tony and his crew showed up at 8am, as promised, and got to work. They were done and cleaned up by 1pm. Tony was professional and made sure I was happy with the work before paying him.

I called Monday to approve the estimate and they were here 7:20 Tuesday morning. The crew came in and went straight to work The job was finished when I got back on my lunch break . You couldn't tell they had been here but for the much needed repairs were finished and looked great. Every bit of rubble was in the trash cans at the curb ready for pick up. Some of the stucco application was a bit messy and its going to be fixed by Tony at some point. The owner said he'd be back to smooth out the stucco and there was also a problem with the sidewalk(had a crack). I had called the office after 2 weeks or so to see when they would come back and finish the small amount of work that had to be done. They said he would call me back. Hadn't heard from him in a week or so and called back. And back. And back. And back. And back.I finally went to the address listed on the website thinking it was his office to talk with him. It was his home and no one answered the door. I was totally fed up at this point and knocked loudly. I called the number, got the machine. Called again and talked with the secretary who said he was here. Anyway to make a longer story longer, he had a major attitude for me coming to the address listed on his own website. When he finally came to the house he was arrogant and made it appear that I was ruining his day by asking him to finish the job that we paid him already. Never again.

Excellent service. Tony and his team arrived early and they worked very quickly and finished the job in a day. The team was very professional, pleasant and they cleaned up after they are done. Highly recommend!!! A++
